We booked because of swimming pool. Crew on swimming pool was very nice and helpful. The restaurant below expectation, service and quality of food was low and unfit for children. Location is good for visiting Kudowa.
Slightly above the town, decorated in creamy colors stands the pink Hotel Kudowa, a great place for rest & relaxation. Take advantage of its mineral water pool, sauna, whirlpool, fast WiFi, safe, hair dryer, mini fridge (free for guests) or splurge on spa treatments for body, skin and joints. The Hotel is amazingly clean, even the wall-to-wall carpet in my room had none of proprietary hotel odor. I stayed on FB + spa treatments plan, got a small bottle of mineral water daily, the bathrobe comes with a room. Spa treatments are on time by pleasant and professional staff, very good selection for breakfast; set menu for lunch; two main dishes, salads, fruits, side dishes, mineral water for dinner - all fresh & tasty. 2 supermarkets are about 100 m away (open 7 days a week), large Kudowa market place (closed on Sundays) - mainly clothes- is 20 min walk. Town`s Park and surrounding hills provide exercise I want and several restaurants nearby have all the beer I need. Some of the concerts and excursions organised by the Town are free on first come, first serve basis - check the weekly listing. Cross the border into Czech Republic ( 600 m north of the Hotel) for the great, cheap Czech beer. My stay at this Hotel was wonderful !…
This hotel is quite comfortable (at least the premium standard) especially if you get a room with a nice view over Kudowa. I like the location near the beautiful spa park and the mineral water spring surrounded by palm trees and other exotic plans under the roof plus its closeness to the most of the touristic trails. There is nothing better than evening swimming in the pool and relax in the ifra-red sauna after all day trekking. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, good breakfast (especially pancakes with cottage cheese). WiFi could work better. The hotel may seem overpriced but with extra low season discount we made a good value for money stay.
Although the room is small, it is clean, warm, great shower, quite. The staff was friendly and tried really hard to speak English. We appreciated the effort. The restaurant was very quite for dinner, but we found the food surprisingly good. Why were there so few people using the facility? Decent selection of wine made the cold rainy Saturday evening, a really nice time.
Arrived at the hotel about 4pm, quick check in by polite staff. Then we were told that we were not in the main building, after reading various reviews we became concerned that we were not in the main building because we were not German. I questioned why we were in a building on the other side of the car park, to be told that these rooms are brand new and we would not be disappointed! It's true on a few levels, because the rooms were new and on the large side. There was a few rooms occupied, so it was nice and quiet. However if there was a function going on down below, then this might be a different story. I have to agree with others though there was no Germans staying in this building, it seems as through this is reserved for Polish and Russian but we were British? The rooms were spotless and breakfast was Ok, so all in all would stay here again if they sorted out the room situation.…
When I was there last year the hotel was opened just a bit before. Most things improved till then: The Spa area is still one of the best, ever seen in an four star hotel. The pool is about 12 meters long - so enough to "really swim". The massages and other health arrangements are a must-try even if on a business-trip like me. The breakfast was good, although I was missing a bit variation after 10 days of stay. The restaurant in the evening is exxpensive - for poland, but not for the quality of food. A steak (~190gramms) with some sides+1 bear was around 22€. But the menu is a bit short, if you're not afraid to ask, the cook prepares nearly everything. The staff was friendly, some were multilingual, most spoke at least english or german. The Internet-quality was variating from "very fast " to "slow" - depending on the booking situation, I guess. The rooms are a bit small, I had a double room for one person - and like most other brandnew hotels, they safe money in roomsize.…
I'm very very impressed by this hotel, so I'll write the short review in English to get some more guests to this nice place: The Hotel seems to be brandnew, the singlerooms offer a 140cm wide bed - I'm curious whether the beds are even bigger in double rooms. The Internetaccess is fast, and free. The spa area is great - the swimming pool is small but very nice and clean, you have a bubble bath, a steam bath and two sauna, and some ergometers. Everything looks very very stylish. They have other 10 rooms for massage and other health features but I didn't test it - YET :-.) and of course, the price is really hot, 55 € via hrs... in the netherlands or germany you will pay for sure at least 140 € per night for such a hotel. Personal speaks englisch, czech, polisch and very good german…
