This hotel made us feel like we were Hollywood celebrities! Tall ceilings, chandeliers, balcony overlooking the Olympic-sized swimming pool, and manicured grounds, with a backdrop of mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. The breakfast was wonderful and dinner at the restaurant

A really good family run hotel extremely clean on all floors with really nice spacious rooms. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff throughout our stay who even phoned the local restaurant which we had trouble finding, who then sent out a waiter to taxi us to it. Highly

Yes, a proper four-star hotel in Calabria. Not sure why it's called a Club though. It's a big place that caters for wedding receptions and the like but as an individual traveller in these parts you can't go wrong. The restaurant service in an annex is strangely distant but the

If you're flying into Reggio Calabria airport, Mota is not far. From Roccella, where the Kennedy is, it's quite a drive - about eighty something miles, either across the mountains to the other side and then down on the main freeway back to Reggio or down the coast. Car hire isn't too expensive. As for guides, the Kennedy staff should be able to organize this. If you're flying into Lamezia, that's another story; I'd recommend cutting across to Catanzaro and then down the coast road although it's slower than down the other side on the A3 which isn't as pretty. Lamezia has several car hire companies right on the airport doorstep. As for getting up to Sorrento I'd always recommend the fast train up from Reggio Calabria to Naples. There are plenty of services and the FrecciaBianca is the fastest, at just under four and a half hours, whereas the Regionale can take two hours more. Get first class tickets, they're not much more expensive and the carriages are quieter and there's more legroom. From Naples main station there are plenty of local trains down to nearby Sorrento - Pompei is on the way and it's a must-see visit of course. Have a nice stay.

credo che come animazione siamo messi bene, anche se da pediatra devo dire che a due anni i bimbi devono stare con la mamma che deve per l'occorrenza sacrificarsi(facendo da animatrice per il suo piccolo) ed evitare di andare in discoteca.

"Although it may be noisy because of the weddings, the pool side rooms have the best views not only of the pool but a view of Roccella Ionica with its mountain castle and the Ionian Sea. The other side is not so bad either with views of the mountains and the Ionian Sea. At night time the lights of the mountain towns are great."
"choose a room that is not on the side of the small amphitheatre!"
"Pool side rooms are nice for the morning sunrise over the hills and ocean which is beautiful. Downside is that there may be weddings around the pool and a bit noisier into the night if you're an early to bed person."
"Don't stay here unless you like to be awake all night."
"All the rooms have a nice view but the pool view rooms are particularly nice in summer."
