This was our 3rd stay at a Lotus Resort, having previously stayed at their Papua Paradise in Raja Ampat on 2 occasions. Our expectations were that Sampaguita would be similar in standard to Papua Paradise, but regrettably this was not the case. My room was small and particularly comfortable. The bed frame was very large such that the mattress was... More

People are so nice.... The food is amazing... And the best snorkeling u can imagine :).... That basically sums up our stay there.... Near the area u get to go to a 5 tier waterfall hike which is short and one of the best waterfalls I've ever seen called kawasan falls.

The resort is far away from the city, nothing around there - but they have a shuttle car. food is ok, just ok... Moalboal seems to be basically a divers paradise, don't search for a beach there...but it's great for snorkeling/diving... So if you are searching for a quite snorkeling/diving vacation including a breakfast with eggs and toast as well... More

This resort has an excellent room, food, service and view. We didn't dive so we couldn't really enjoy the sea, just the scene. Its' location is somewhat inside a gulf, and so you can't really hear the sound of waves sometimes, except when probably the wind is really strong. This is an excellent place to relax, but probably you would... More

I had the chance to be there end of May-June for my first diving experience with a group of friends. I really had a wonderful time for my BD and a special cake for the occasion in the presence of musiciens in the Resort ! The service is excellent, food as well and you also can enjoy the services of... More

They accomodated us at 11:30pm. Service was great, place was great, food was great, and the dive / snorkeling area were great. After a long search for a resort in the Moalboal area, we (the family) have decided to sleep in the car. Then my wife said, lets try this thing online. We searched the place and found heaven. Rate... Dear Jayser and Ester, thank you so much for your lovely feedback… and for giving Sampaguita a try when you and your family were already planning to sleep in your car. It makes us very glad that you “found heaven” here. This is exactly how my wife and myself perceived Sampaguita when we visited it for the very first time... More

Sampaguita is a well run resort and super service oriented, but never in a 'in your face' way. We needed a place that was quiet and serene and this was just perfect. Our room 10 faced the ocean, had a few sofa chairs for reading, lounging and having a drink whilst enjoying the sunset. I did not dive, just snorkeled... More

Sunny greetings, dear ‘gwcy’!It’s been a pleasure to have you at our little tranquil hide-out. The words you’re finding to describe Sampaguita’s atmosphere are just perfectly matching with our philosophy. You actually inspire us to communicate it even more clear to the outside world that Sampaguita is a beautiful spot for nature and ocean lovers and nothing for those, who... More

At first we were unsure if its a good idea staying in Moalboal (the 3-4hours drive from Mactan Island was crazy!), but we want to be close to Oslob & Kawasan falls for the tours. Happy with the decision, we had an amazing 6day stay in Sampaguita!! We were upgraded to a cottage as my partner is tall and our... More

Really great set-up with friendly staff, good food (and lots of it). The Dive centre is run incredibly smoothly giving access to all the sites in the area - and they are very accommodating to schedule the dive sites to individual needs. Definitely recommend!

Dear ‘Rogerinho’, thank you so much for your feedback. Knowing that you had such a good time with us feels like a “mission accomplished”. Rooms and staff were fantastic. Location amazing. Great snorkelling off the house reef. Great dives at arms' reach. Food was buffet style, but good. Plenty of it. We had an amazing time! Would recommend for divers!
