We stayed here as a family of five and had a great stay! Its a fantastic location right on the beach with an island cottage vibe throughout the hotel. The staff were lovely and always happy to help and arranging transport / tuktuks was super easy. The only thing we struggled with a little was the dinner menu for the kids as our kids are fussy eaters and wont eat certain foods, so we often ordered off the lunch menu for 5pm (cutoff time) or headed into town. But understandable for a small resort the smaller options. Otherwise breakfast was lovely and the Easter bbq dinner was delicious! Thanks so much Rudy and the team, we highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Moalboal. Its defnitley the best on the island!
We are easily booked our trip online. They are responsive to all our queries. The resort has a lot to offer such as diving lessons (A MUST), boat rides, massage, food buffet & etc. The staff and the owner are very warm & accommodating. The rooms are clean & organized. We really love their delicious food! We can't wait to go back soon. Thank you!
I've booked for 5 Days but ended up staying for 2 weeks. The Stuff is very nice and always taking care. The food is also very nice and you can decide between western/international and local dishes. The Spa area with the massages is a must do! I also enjoyed the diving with the hotel own diving center. There is literally nothing negative I can tell.
Had an excellent stay here. The deluxe villa was superb and very comfortable whilst keeping in touch with a local feel. The food was superb and plentiful. Attentive service from the staff. Prices are pleasing for families. These people suffered greatly from last typhoon and they really need your business - so pay them a visit and enjoy a stay here, it’s worth it! Good luck to Rudy going forward
High quality resort where we had a quiet relaxing 7 night stay. Lovely staff with good restaurant, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Situated away from any bar night life but easy 150 pesos tuk tuk ride away solves that one. Great dive school as well plus snorkel trips. Local white beach 5 min walk away. European price per night tho.
I would recommend staying at this boutique resort if you like to experience privacy but just a stone throw to the white beach. Staff are helpful esp. the reception. They gave us a comfortable room and clean too. I love their beach front too and like I said you can literally walk to the white beach of Moalboal. They observe strict health guidelines too. I definitely would go back.
We had the opportunity to stay here for one night with a large family group. First contact with the owner was negative, he resides at the resort and has an arrogant manner. Definitely not inviting or hospitable. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The restaurant was very overpriced and limited. The pool and ambiance was very nice. No access to a white sand beach mostly rocks, and rough entry to the beach. The resort is centered around diving, exclusive, and very overpriced. The maintenance and upkeep is lacking. The rooms have very thin linens and limited hot water supply. In comparison to other resorts this is definitely not a 5 star resort and it is "dated". Normally locals are discouraged from staying in the resort by high pricing. This resort does not represent a value nor does it promote a warm and inviting atmosphere. If you are seeking an overpriced diving resort this is for you. …
Dolphin House is the best way to experience southern Cebu. The facilities were amazing, the staff were friendly, and the diving was beautiful. Sardine Run dive is a must. So is Kawasan Falls adventure
This resort (based on the looks of all the other places we passed during our stay) must be the finest in Moalboal. It is hidden at the far end of the island, right before the white beach starts (on low tide you can walk to white beach from the resort. Dolphin house has a tiny sandy area and a pier with a great house reef right outside). The area is well planned. Garden and pool area is beautiful. Everything cleaned everyday. Staff is friendly and most of them speak English. The room was clean. Bed was a bit hard (as most are in the Philippines...) Breakfast is included and contains 3 hot dishes, fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt, bread and pancakes + fresh made omelet. Also milk, coffe and fresh juice. They serve lunch and dinner with a few different choices every day. If you want to try other restaurants you will have to get a tuc to either Panangsama beach or Moalboal town (about 10 minutes ride for 150php). There you will have lots of other options. They offer different trips if you want to explore snorkeling or waterfalls etc. prices at the resort is what you must expect at a resort - more expensive than going local, but to be honest, there’s not much local options. Most of the bars and restaurants are based on tourists. The only obvious room for improvement at the resort is in the bar. They have little knowledge about wine and the drinks are medium quality. All in all this is the best place to stay in Moalboal if you are looking for a beautiful quiet place to relax your holidays. …
Beautifully maintained property on the shore, private, architecturally unique. Great meals, super nice staff, spotlessly clean. Dive operation looks well organized, did not take advantage of. Feels like being on a private estate. Does not have a beach, but is adjacent to public beach.
