In Symbiosis with the Reef. Experience nature and well-being in harmony with the reef, in line with preserving the environment above and under water. That is our goal! A 5* boutique resort? Yes and now, it's Dolphin House! Our bungalows are at a good international 4* level, our aspirations in terms of cuisine, the dive center and Eco-tourism ambitions at minimal impact can be placed at a far superior level. We do not have rooms with sea view... because we do not want to ruin our beach opening. Only the restaurant and the dive centre are located directly by the sea. At the beach front, you will find plenty of loungers and little huts, "Tea Houses", slightly elevated, right in the shade of palm trees and greenery with a stunning view over the ocean.

A charming hotel in a lush tropical garden. The atmosphere is warm, the clientele international and local. It’s very quiet and ideal for recharging your batteries. The team is warm while remaining courteous and professional, I am thinking of Jane, Maryan, Rudy the owner, but also of Joy, Tina, José and all the others, thank you for the welcome! The food is good (the stuffed cuttlefish are a must, the breakfasts are plentiful. For divers and snorkelers, the beach and the reef are directly adjacent to the hotel, I saw beautiful turtles, clown fish and the falling a few dozen meters from the shore is impressive. The diving club is safe and well maintained, the local dive master named Loc Loc is a quiet and reassuring force. Two new recruits, marine biologists Maurice and Désirée will gradually share their knowledge For those interested, it's a plus! Comfortable swimming pool. White beach is 5 minutes away on foot and the epicenter of Moalboal nightlife is 10 minutes away by tricycle. In short, an ideal stay!

My daughter and I stayed in the Villa which at 300m2 is easily most luxurious accommodation on the island with it's own private pool, garden and private access to the beach. Staff were great - so friendly and helpful. Dive shop was well run and most dive sites only a short boat ride away. Food quality was of a high standard and menu varied from day to day allowing a very wide selection. Probably the best resort in Moalboal!

A very pleasant, quiet and green piece of paradise in Moalboal. A very good live reef with turtles and fish, but there is no convenient entry into the sea. Installing a pontoon would help a lot. The quality of food is beyond praise! I never had the desire to go look for an alternative. There are nuances regarding noise in the rooms - the beds are held together and the air conditioning is noisy. High quality Wi-Fi throughout almost the entire territory. Kind and friendly staff. On many resources the hotel is listed as 4-5 stars, but you should not pay attention to this, while the hotel is of a good level, and in this location it is the most upscale. Before basic life Moalboal - 500/600 pesos on tricycles. I recommend it for diving and snorkeling, trips to waterfalls and sharks.

While the hotel boasts beautiful grounds and delicious food, my experience fell short of expectations. Having stayed in several 4-star hotels in the Philippines at more than 50% cheaper, this one unfortunately ranks as the least satisfactory. The room was dated, the shower broken, and noise from the room disrupted my sleep in the morning. While the location near White Beach is convenient, I believe the quality of the stay could vary greatly depending on whether you're in a villa or a standard room.

Dear Sarah, are you sure you were staying at Dolphin House Resort, we can't recall having a guest with the name of "Sarah"? Maybe you were staying at the neighbor's place who in the past has been putting picture from our beachfront on his site. LOL

The site is very beautiful and pleasant. The food is good and it has a great beach nearby. The staff is courteous and the cleanliness is absolutely impeccable. This was my third visit to Dolphin house. The diving part is functional with storage available for each room, Nitrox is available and the equipment is maintained (blocks, compressors, etc.). To do again.

Two wonderful weeks of vacation: The resort was quietly located, the bungalow was clean, functionally furnished and the bed was comfortable. The service was very friendly and accommodating at the reception, bar, restaurant, wellness area and diving school. The house reef is within walking distance, lots of small fish, soft and hard trout, also very suitable for snorkeling. Daily encounter with turtles. The food in the Brot restaurant with half board changed daily menus and a good selection of consistently delicious, mainly Asian specialties. Everything was lovingly decorated. À la carte or breakfast buffet is also very extensive and delicious. The massages in the beautiful wellness area are certainly a highlight that you should treat yourself to given the moderate prices.

We stayed at the Dolphin House Resort for a week and felt like being in paradise there.
The very clean and spacious bungalows are set in a wonderful tropical garden. The centrally located pool is surrounded by palm trees, frangipanis, hibisks and other flowering plants. The restaurant and bar offer wonderful views of the sea, especially at sunset the Ning Ning tastes particularly good! Breakfast was buffet style and left nothing to be desired. For dinner you could choose from different starters, main courses and desserts with half board. The food was always lovingly arranged and tasted excellent.
The staff is always friendly and helpful, the family interaction with each other we especially liked. A highlight of our stay was the music and singing of the hotel team in the bar.
The house reef is very suitable for snorkeling: lots of small fish, soft and hard corals and lots of turtles and sea snakes. The sun loungers in the resort invite you to relax with direct sea views, the White Beach is within walking distance in a few minutes. Excursions are perfectly organized in reception.
Rudy has created a lovingly designed natural complex down to the last detail, in which you can only feel comfortable.
We will definitely come back!
Patricia and Michael

The resort is situated apart from the noisy crowd of the nearby pubic beach. Their gardens are perfectly landscaped and the surroundings are meticulously cleaned everyday. The private beach is well maintained and ideal for snorkeling. I just wish we had seen it before typhoon Odette struck, as most of the corals on the shallower end were destroyed. The menu at the restaurant caters more to western taste but there is something there for everyone and the portions are certainly generous. The staff are all very polite, friendly and helpful. Very eager to give us tips on how to make the most of our stay there. The rooms are immaculately clean and larger than most I've been in at a similar price point. Eco-friendliness and sustainability are at the heart of the resort's policies. All in all, Dolphin House Resort is a rare gem and possibly the most beautiful and cleanest beach resort I have seen in my travels. Highly recommended!!!

Thank you so much Rico for taking your time to review us,... and what a nice review! Thank you also for reviewing by what we stand for, peace and serenity, environmental awareness, quality cuisine, not by the size or the TV in the rooms which we don’t have. (Resort policy) or by the speed of the Wi-Fi which is actually 5G but we intend to turn it off in the restaurant for dinner so our dear guests will have two hands free to enjoy there dinner! LOL, have interesting discussions, communicate without gadgets and make new REAL friends ;-) Yes the typhoon last Dec 2021 damaged the reef, especially the drop off, but it’s coming back and from my own experience bases on the 7.2 earthquake some 7-8 years ago, less than two years from now it will be all covered with corals and the enormity on biodiversity specific to the Moalboal reefs. For divers, note that below 12 m there is no damage. PS you forgot to mention the many turtles on our reef :)

The complex is beautiful and that's about it.
Room: opposite the kitchen, so sleeping was over at 5:30. Amateurs, standard of the room not 4-star level!
Food: was once so inedible that I had to order something new, at my own expense of course. Breakfast a la carte: although it was supposed to be included, you had to pay extra if you wanted more than one thing from the menu. Either a sandwich OR yogurt & muesli OR pancakes
Few vegetarian options
Beach: none. There are stairs. Some guests were looking. Broken loungers don't give a 4-star impression, pool too small
Staff: not always motivated but mostly nice. Except for one incident at reception with a lady whose English wasn't good and she misunderstood me and passed this misinformation on to the manager, who wrote to me without asking via email, accused me and insulted me without clarifying the matter personally and calmly. Very questionable way the manager handles customers. He even offered to let me leave the hotel during my short vacation.
I got sick at the end of the vacation due to the stress.
I would therefore not recommend Dolphin House!

An excellent welcome in a hotel maintained to perfection: everything is perfect and beautiful. The bungalows are spacious and well-tempered (Air conditioning and fan). Thanks (!) to Philippine traffic, it's far, 4 hours from Cebu airport, but once there you don't want to move, the staff is all smiles (and you can hear them laughing among themselves, a sign that everything the world is good). The meals are excellent with good produce and the weekly (varied) menu system is easy and pleasant.
The diving center is a model of its kind (locker, drying, rigging, boat accessibility)
In summary, well done!
