Objectively, this resort has the necessities – clean enough rooms and bathroom, they provide towels and have an in-house restaurant. In terms of amenities, Marcosas Cottages Resort has what you need. However, all good reviews of their facilities are overshadowed because we had such a horrible experience with one of their staff, Edith. Our group booked online, and upon arrival,...

We took a tricycle from moalboal town to the resort for p100 but our return trip was p80 only. The resort is outside the main hype of night life which was ok with us. The beach front is about 50m away and we had to walk through the Quo Vadis Dive Centre for our snorkelling. We went near the drop...

Great night sleep. Decent food. Lovely staff. Highly recommend for couples, families, or whoever! The pool is nice too. We booked to stay only one night here, but enjoyed Moalboal and the place so much we asked if they had a room the following night. They were very flexible, as it was around Easter and very busy. We had to...

After reading great reviews I was excited to stay at Marcosa's. Unfortunately my experience was far inferior than most reviewers'. I was traveling alone so I wanted to stay at a safe place. Marcosa's is safe. It has a guard at night and no visitors are allowed overnight or at the pool area. My room was clean and spacious. The...

The cottages are very basic, but the rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff are wonderful. Edith at the hotel helped us arrange everything and she was our absolute favorite - she is a gem and goes out of her way to make sure you are happy. The pool is beautiful and we had great massages in the spa...

Stayed here for 4 nights. Everything was brilliant. Breakfast is good. The staff is always friendly. Perfect start for our vacation. As I was attending diving course my wife stayed at the beach and near the pool. Pool bar is a cute bonus. You can have a drink while relaxing in the water. Recommend this place for sure.

Stayed in two rooms. Both really nice with patio areas. Tropical plants throughout the hotel which I liked. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast options and were willing to amend for us as we're vegetarians. Pool was nice and well looked after. Wifi worked well. Location was perfect. Near the action but far enough away from it to feel...

Very good value for money. The cottage/room is immaculately clean and well maintained. My kids, ages 6 and 4, totally love their pool! (My kids don't like seawater) Food is also good. Only downer is that this isn't beachfront but hey it's just 2min walk to the beach. It would have been really great to have breakfast with a beach...

I stayed 3 nighs here after finding good reviews online. It's definitely an oasis in the horrible Panagsama beach area. (All the surrounding countryside is absolutely gorgeous, but Panagsama beach is a nasty, dirty, noisy place. And by the way, there is no real beach to speak of.) It's just outside and on a side road off the main drag,...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a short period 2 nights only, this hotel was shared to us by our tour operator Green and Fun Adventure Services, who arrange this to us.
