We had an excellent stay with Armando in Matanzes. Nothing was too much trouble, whether it was local info, taxis or shopping. The staff were also great. The two rooms we used were airy and light...the first room was great, but Armando moved us into the penthouse as soon as it became available...the roof terrace(s) were a fantastic place to eat and take in local life in the streets below and beyond. The meals were fantastic...we normally never eat anything other than breakfast in our accommodation, but we ate every night here...all the meals were excellent and we never once managed to clear the table of the huge spreads provided. When our internet cards ran out, Armando allowed us to purchase some of his own supply. Can't recommend La Villa Sonada enough.

One of the best places we stayed on our 30 day trip. Has WI-FI on premises. Generous and delicious breakfast is served on a terrace overlooking the city. Electrical sockets are labeled 110V or 220V (both are available in Cuba) - very helpful. Senor Armando was very helpful with any need/question we had. He gave us detailed information for our outing to Varadero - everything worked out exactly as he told us. Highly recommended!

La Villa Soñada was one of the best Casa Particular we visited during our trip of one month in Cuba. It's like you enter in a holy world with several terraces and sun roof with palm trees and tropical plants were you can really relax and enjoy the fantastic hospitality of Mandy. The rooms are all very spacious and clean. The bathrooms are very well equipped with all you need. The best though were the breakfasts and the dinners we could take in the upper terrace with an amazing view over the city down to the bay. Also the quality of the food was excellent and very abundant. Thanks again Mandy for such a special hospitality, we felt more than spoiled.

Mandy's home is very comfortable and in a great location ( part of the neighborhood scene). Rooftop room was delightful, quiet, and roomy. Breakfast was delicious and lots of food. Mandy was helpful with what to do in Matanzas. And it was always fun to check out the street scene ( and the nightly homing pigeon flights) from the rooftop terrace. We hope to come back another time.

Mandy Machado Vega has a very nice Casa and the roms and bathrooms are very clean. The rooms are even big enough for three or more, we were with two persons. It is not far from the center of Matanzas. Breakfast was plenty and delicious and we had also dinner with Champagne (from Mandy) He is such a nice man and the hospitality is so good. It was a very nice stay.
