The hotel, out first 5 star hotel with kids. What can i say, … We loved it so much, not just because of the accommodation, the fantastic airco, fantastic wifi ( very important for my son) The 5 star i give, is very based on the staff, early workers, that clean everything up, around the pool, in the restaurants, the rooms, the friendliness of these people is just so heartwarming. No hassles with towels, enough chairs to go around. The people working around and in the pool and beach bar, always with a smile, while the are working very hard. We had a problem with the size of our son’s bed. He is pretty tall, so we asked for a bigger side bed. This was solved within 2 hours. No questions asked, all without a problem. The swimming pools were a delight, temperature was perfect. Breakfast, lunch, dinner,…. Wasnt fine dining, but i never expect that, all the meals i had were very good ! But again, we almost sat in the same place, near the window “ natural airco “ one of the waitresses said :) I just have to thank them with a photo. You were amazing !!

I think the staff is overwhelmed. It is not 5 star other than the order of the manicured grounds. The buffet was plentiful, the taste extremely average. Waits for drink orders/delivery. The pool a sea of blue towels of unused sunbeds, the sea not easily accessible, no fault of the hotel, because of rocks. Once a wait of 40 min for fresh towels because the kiosk was closed "for 15 minutes" over mid day. The absolute saving grace was Romeo and his incredible synchronized, happy bar team. They seemed to work round the clock effortlessly. The drinks were consistent, as well as the smiles on their faces. He runs an exceptionally well organized bar. It was a place to relax and be taken cared of. Hats off to him!! Sortiris at the lobby bar was my morning Greek coffee go to.. Such a kind man. Food court was another huge plus... A kind chef that saw that you were happy even when the wait staff moved at their own pace. The hotel itself felt more like a factory. An upside is there was often activities to keep young children very happy. So, for a family with kids it's fine... But don't expect a 5 star experience

As soon as we entered the hotel we were given complimentary drinks and relaxed while everything was sorted out for us. We were taken to our room , which was dated (as pointed out by other guests) but extremely clean & functional. We had a beautiful sea view and (as we were all inclusive) a fridge with soft drinks , wine & water. *Be aware that , if you are not all inclusive drinks are pricey at the bars* The bed was super-king size & very comfortable. Staff ........... If I were to rate this hotel on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff , who work so hard to guarantee your holiday is as relaxing as possible, I would give it 5 stars * From the hard working cleaning staff (thank you Yoanna our room was spotless xx ) through to the restaurant staff and management (must mention Maria & Erika - thank you xx) the service was excellent. The reason I give this hotel 4 stars is due to the tired rooms and the need to reserve sunbeds around the pool (with towels) by 8.30am or you may not get one. There are extra sunbeds available , but , no extra parasols to shade from the heat. We booked a late room , which turned out to be a huge mistake ! The room we were given was water damaged ,with rusty furniture and an awful rancid smell ! We refused to stay there and waited 2 hours for the Guest Services Manager to find us another room. As you can imagine , this was a stressful end to what was a relaxing holiday. We were given another room , which was clean , a couple of hours before we left to get our taxi. All in all we had a great holiday , but realised how lucky we were to get one of the best rooms in the hotel for our two week stay.

The hotel is OK but some of the rooms are a very poor standard. The food is good although they serve fois gras in one of their restaurants which is disappointing. The staff are lovely but the management are possibly the most inept and incompetent so called professionals I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. They let the hotel down.

Just finishing up a 1 week holiday here and overall really pleased. I’d happily come back! It’s a great 4 star in my opinion. It does somethings a 5 star would do and then some little things could be improved. We had a lovely bungalow next to the pool and this was a lovely touch! Shout out to Dritian, Minty and Lefeteri on the little pool bar. Great fun! Positives Beautiful resort and setting. Food is very good and the Al a Cartes were well worth a visit. Staff overall very helpful and good fun. Plenty of kids entertainers (all very nice) and a decent programme. Could be better Check in-Was slow and some people waited over an hour to check in. We were around 45 mins. Wasps- There seem to be a lot of these and they are a pain when dining. Really easy fix, buy some traps and hang them up around the outdoor dining area. Mini disco-Staff are good but it seems a little flat. Id suggest moving out of the horrible conference room outside and do a little more work on the production. Rooms-Typical of Greece a little dated and could do with some TLC. Entertainment-Dj nights were good fun and the drifters great. Sax and Piano need a singer. Overall a great hotel which I felt was good value for money. Tip-Do the all inclusive and ask for the brands you like. They dont offer them but they’re there.

lovely resort, The main hotel reception and the terrace bar were beautiful, Food was lovely if a little to much of the same, they had one theme evening, but could do with more, the best salad bar was at breakfast and not at lunchtime when you really needed it, but not a problem. The pool bar was disappointing, with little or no music or atmosphere. The pools were in need of an upgrade as the linings were coming away. The rooms were also old and tired and need modernization. but beds were great. The hotel staff were lovely as was the holiday and would return in a few years, as the weather and the cool breeze are fabulous,. parts of hotel are 5 star, but parts are more 4 star

I have never felt the need to write a review of a hotel before but a week spent at the Kos Imperial changed this. This hotel was amazing. The room was very large and had a great view of the quiet pool. The 4 pools were great, the buffet food was varied each night, the ala carte restaurants were really good. But what really made this holiday was the staff. Everyone was happy and friendly nothing was too much trouble. They made special effort with the kids which made their holiday. A special shout out needs to go Dionysia in the lobby bar who really looked after us and the kids.

I stayed for two nights from August 5 till August 7 with my family. Almost the whole time there was an awful smell from the sewage system of the hotel which made it impossible to stay inside the room. When I contacted the hotel director explaining the problem he responded that this is due to the biological pit of kos island which doesn’t work very well. Cosidering that i was charged 400 euros per day I would consider it as a very poor experience.

Just got back from a weeks stay here, a group of 7 with children aged 16,14,12 and 11. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms - Nice and clean. Rooms were cleaned daily, beds nice and comfy, a/c unit a god send with a lovely balcony. Food - A wide selection of food, with show stations. Everyone in our group could find something to eat. Breakfast a wide selection of cooked items with a lovely lady on the made to order omelette station. Lots of cereals, pastries, fruit and cold meats and cheeses. Lunch could be eaten in either the main restaurant or at the snack bar by the pool. The main restaurant had a wide selection of salads, bread, hot food whilst the snack bar had pizza, chips, gyros (my favourite), salads, pasta and sauce. The creperie and ice cream bar where also here which the children loved. Ice cream was delicious, lots of flavours. Dinner - A wide selection of food again with show stations. There were themed nights I may have missed the information on this, it would have been nice for a sign somewhere to give this information beforehand. We went to the Asian restaurant which was delicious and right on the beach and the taverna which was right next to the main pool bar. The lady that helped us to book it at the little desk by reception was very helpful. Pools - there is a child’s pool, a large pool, an activity pool and a quiet pool. Never felt crowded. Lovely for a cooling off dip. Plenty of sun beds either around the pools or at the beach, although on our last day beds seemed to be getting reserved rather early!! The children loved the beach and enjoyed swimming in the sea especially looking for small fish. Activities - there are a range of activities on every day apart from Saturdays. We joined in with yoga, Zumba and water aerobics, the girls that run the sessions were fantastic. There are other activities but that’s all we joined in with. I did find Facebook pages helpful before we went. All staff that we met with were lovely, we had a fantastic time. Please pass on our thanks to all the staff. The children are already asking to come back!
