Do not take ANY notice of the bad reviews. I came here on a family holiday for a week and we had a fantastic time. Hotel - on top of a hill so has fantastic views, as soon as you walk in the lobby is sparkling clean, grand and overall stunning. The hotel was busy but never felt crowded, there are 3 lifts, at least 1 was usually out of order but wasn’t a problem for us. Entertainment - there was an hour or so of evening entertainment but unless you went out there early it was hard to get seats, however the pool bar is open til late so we just sat around there as you could still hear the music from there. There was aqua gym and other pool activities during the day, as well as yoga. Food - great selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The view from the balcony outside the canteen is perfect when watching the sunset while eating you’re evening meal. In the morning it’s self serve for drinks, whereas for lunch and evening meals it’s waiter service. Pools and bars - 3 pools, one kids, one main and one smaller pool. The smaller pool is nice if you want quite as the games and music is always in the main pool. There are day beds around the pools which I think have to be reserved and payed for. There is a pool bar which is open all day through til late, there is also a bar in the lobby that opens in the evening til late. A large selection Cocktails, beers, wine etc, although be aware unless you are UAI (ultra all inclusive) you have to pay for some drinks. There is also a bar on the roof which has exceptional views and has to be visited! Overall - this is an amazing hotel with stunning views and it’s own private beach just opposite. Don’t hesitate to book! I would recommend this hotel for families with older children (id say 17/18+) or couples as it has an adult classy feel to it and there wasn’t much there for children Trips - there are alps trips available to go on. I went on a boat trip around the nearby islands, which was an amazing experience

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel at the end of September, from reading some of the negative reviews I felt a little bit apprehensive, the hotel is a little bit dated but that didn’t bother us at all! We had a renovated room, the furniture was a bit dated but we weren’t in there too much! The buffet food was a good selection with a different theme every night, we also ate at Pizza & More which was very nice. We ate out in the town a couple of times which was only 5 minute taxi/bus ride down the road. The pool area wasn’t busy at all, as we were a bit out of season so there were plenty of beds. The main bar staff were lovely and they only really close until the last people leave! They had a good selection of drinks but even on UAI there were still some you had to pay for. We went into the town quite a few times during our week long stay, I really recommend this! Kos is quite a small town but has lots of lovely shops, restaurants and bars. Overall, yes the hotel does need a bit of updating/refreshing but it was a lovely, relaxing holiday!

Reading the reports on Trip Advisor prior to booking these varied greatly . In one week 4 reviews 3 excellent and 1 poor Arrived late evening at hotel to be greeted warmly and checked in easily Advised that food was awaiting us in buffet restaurant and provide with info on all aspects of our package Buffet type breakfast, lunch and evening meals which offered numerous selections including freshly prepared choices, how could anyone complain about the choice. Our package included several meals in the al a carte restaurant offering several choice and well worth the experience This needs booking with Denise the main resturant manager giving 24 hours notice. George main waiter in the l a carte restaurant was professional in his service Denise is excellent and cannot be praised high enough for her guest interaction and communication with visitors to meet there needs Room 334 was garden view however this still offered a view of the sea. The rooms were spacious with good storage facilities. Rooms were spotless and beds changed daily. Towels were changed irrelevant of wether left out for exchange Pool area were well controlled no towels left about and at evening all beds moved and repositioned. The upper pool near the pool bar seemed the more popular for families The lower area was quieter but pool was cooler. Staff in the bar particular Christine offered excellent service with a smile and a chat most evening. She was efficient and soon learnt our drinks regime. .
