We arrived late saturday night to be greeted with a beautiful arrival drink, the lovely guy then took us in the buggy to our room 1902. we paid extra for sea view, yes this room does have a partial sea view but blocked due to palm trees at the front, however the room was fabulous, minimalist vibe but beautiful n modern. We then went for late night snacks in the buffet which is served from 11pm-1am. soups breads and sandwhiches. The pool is outstanding oh my word, it goes on for what feels like forever. we got early to watch the sunrise from the infinity pool and it was breathtaking. There is soooo many sunlongers and beanbags to choose from, however after 9am when the towel guy arrives these do fill up quickly. we did reserve our beds before breakfast and no one told us not to. a few others had reserved there beds but really it wasnt nessacary at all as so many beds. The food in the buffet was ok , if you enjoys meats such as lamb turkey etc there you wll be ok, i mostly had salads and breads. You are allocated 2 slots for the resteraunts alongside a champagne breakast, the breakfast was ok but we where swamped with wasps so we ate fast and left. Tbe soya asian resteraunt was OUTSTANDING, i left a separate review on this. its a MUST , the staff are 11/10, and the sushi chef and the other chefs are wow unbelieveable. best sushi ever. i wish i could have eaten there every night. The Mediterranean restaurant was also fab , as where the staff , really enjoyed. Huge special shout out to the lady and gent who serve at the infinity pool, they are worked to the bone and always soooo cheerful and happy. they are wonderful and made the experience so so so soooo good. You can get all ur cocktail favs included in th all inclusive which is 10/10, especially at night in the main bar you get them in properly lovely glasses so its super fancy and nice. The toilets at the infinity could have done with more regular cleans but otherwise was ok. There is a us outside hotel which runs soooo often its a fab edition for 2 euros each way per person, its wonderul way to get to kos town . We hired a buggy from hot bikes for one day for 100euro and it was amazing they come n pick u up at hotel and drop you back, its the 3rd or 4th stop on the bus into kos so was super handy to arrange this. A tour of the island on the buggy is brilliant would recommend this very much . Would 100% come back , everyone ws so friendly , its a super chilled vibe hotel and so relaxing. loved every second.

Just returned from here after a two week stay with a party of eight adults on an all inclusive basis the location of this hotel is superb with stunning sea views from the infinity pool this is definitely five star and has to be one of the best pools in the world. The resort is spotless all the staff we encountered were amazing we had a partial sea view room which could do with a freshen up but it was spotless with all the usual amenities. The food served in the buffet restaurant was good with a vast choice although it could have been hotter at times the food served in the Asian and Mediterranean restaurants was excellent. We had a fantastic holiday and would not hesitate to return.

Room- perfect. Excellent view, well equipped, regularly serviced, clean. Pools- infinity pool is stunning. It’s 120m long, so there is room to get away from the noisy bar area. Lots of sun beds, but you need to be relatively early to grab one as this is the most popular pool. The top pool is large and almost empty most of the time. Easier to find a sun bed here, but by mid morning, most are in use. Pool areas kept clean and tidy. Hotel info says towels are removed if beds are empty for 45/60 mins but we didn’t see any evidence of that. Both pools are quite cold but once in - just lovely! Beach - it’s a steep walk down to the narrow, stony beach. Plenty of sunbeds here and a beach bar. Reception- friendly especially Etze who was extremely friendly and helpful. She made us feel very welcome. Bars- infinity pool bar very busy and noisy. Beach bar not busy. Top pool bar was closed. Main bar empty during the day, very busy during the evenings. Buffet restaurant- staff very indifferent, especially during the breakfast service, when staff were particularly disinclined to engage with guests. Evening staff better but definitely room for improvement. Food was good, but dishes were slow to be replenished. There was a lack of spoons! We regularly had to find a member of staff to ask for spoons, which were rarely included in the cutlery packs for some strange reason. There is an outside terrace, but this is plagued by wasps until after dark which was a real shame as the interior of the buffet restaurant is a bit soulless. Asian Fusion restaurant (Soya) - was excellent al fresco dining. Friendly staff, great hot food. Service was brilliant. Mediterraneo restaurant- we couldn’t get a dinner reservation here. Al fresco breakfast was tasty and huge! Service excellent. Wasps still around but less so than the buffet terrace. Bus service- into Kos was frequent and inexpensive. Buy tickets in the hotel shop - it’s cheaper and saves time as the bus drivers are in a hurry! As the hotel is not really close to much else, this was useful. Locally- a mini market about 200 m away. An independent beach bar/club about a ten minute walk along the beach- slow service but the location, ambiance and food were excellent. Note: this hotel is situated on the side of a cliff. There are lots of steps/slopes to negotiate. The hotel provides a golf buggy to access the rooms, but not the beach. Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable week at this hotel on half board.

This was our fifth visit to the fabulous Michelangelo Resort & Spa and as usual it lived up to it’s excellent reputation. The hotel facilities, food and spectacular views are second to none. Nothing is too much trouble and Mr Michalis and his team are tremendous. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Our favourite hotel in Greece and we will definitely return. Thank you for a great holiday. Patrick & Lisa Colclough

We are just back from the most amazing week at Michelangelo Resort & Spa - it definitely deserves all the praise it has received on here. The resort itself is beautiful, the views over to Turkey across the sea and from the infinity pool are stunning - we were in a premium sea view room on the front row and it was worth every penny. The resort was clean, with plenty of nice places to sit and enjoy and the rooms were lovely with huge beds and aircon that cooled down the room almost instantly. This has also been left on for our arrival, so the room was a great temperature when we arrived. We were all inclusive and do not regret this at all. The all inclusive package gives you the option to eat at both the Mediterranean restaurant and the Asian restaurant on one night, plus one breakfast at the Mediterranean restaurant. The cocktails available at all the bars were great - and at €9 a pop if you were not all inclusive, definitely made up for the extra money paid. The food in the main buffet restaurant was varied and delicious. Frequently topped up and the themed nights were a nice treat. The Asian restaurant in particular was fabulous. All the staff are so lovely and made the holiday, can’t thank them enough. We used the tennis court one morning which was good fun, and spent most of our time down on the beach where we never had an issue getting a sun lounger. It was a lot busier up by the pool but we did still manage to get a space when we decided we fancied going there. I honestly can not recommend this hotel enough, and if we were to return to Kos would not hesitate to come back here.

Room Tip: Bring some pegs as it can get windy and it’s useful to peg your swim stuff outside on the airer...

Utterly disappointing. After looking forward to this break for so long, the Michelangelo let us down completely. It seems each guest gets a different experience. Some get drinks brought to them by the pool, others don't. Some get preferential treatment at bars and the restaurants for no apparent reason. We had several issues with our Premium Sea View room which took days to rectify, and this was only after multiple hours wasted at reception. The food is average and may pass as a low 4* at best. Most of the buffet restaurant resembles and unkept garden centre conservatory. Not a 5* dining experience. Overall the service, the food and the staff let the place down. What a waste of a wonderful position and view.

I’ve already been to this hotel in 2019 and this year in July with my parents. Everything was perfect and we have really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is magnificent, everything is clean and the service is more than above average. Every member of the staff is very helpful, nice and they are the heart of the hotel. My thanks belongs especially to Polydoros and Antigoni. Antigoni is also the reason why I came back in September because she made our stay in July unforgettable by creating such a good energy at the beach bar and making delicious drinks. Thank you for wonderful days in this beautiful hotel. We would definitely come back again – it’s completely worth it.

We just returned from having a wonderful chilled 10 day stay at Michelangelo. I first need to mention “Nina”, customer relations manager who went above and beyond to help us as we had a little issue with our room on first day. I must praise her patience, professionalism and having a genuine concern on making our stay memorable. Also “Ahmed” towel assistant who greeted us daily with his lovely smile and friendly banter, made us laugh! The wonderful “Yoga Instructor” sorry can’t spell her name but begins with ‘A… ‘ I would highly recommend doing her morning class which was great sets you up for the day, her yoga instruction is one of the best I’ve come across as I attend yoga regularly in UK. The lovely hostess at the restaurant during the evening who always assisted us with table outside on terrace! The rest of the staff always went the extra mile with their service. Cannot fault the food, plentiful choice, buffet restaurant had daily theme nights. Absolutely loved Pan Asian restaurant. Rooms changed & cleaned daily. As for the pools, we tried all but the ‘stand out’ has too be the infinity pool, views are to “die for”. Lastly, I would like to thank Michalis, Manager who kindly let us keep our room as our departure flight was at 2350hrs, it made a huge difference to our last days stay, memorable… We will definitely be returning next year 🙏 Karen & Joe McGinn, Liverpool

Staff amazing (Nikos, Deasy, Harris), always very helping around the pool area. Drinks are amazing as well, highly recommend the cocktails. We had a premium sea front room and the view was amazing. Would definitely recommend coming to this hotel if visiting Kos. And of course the pool, nothing beats that!
