Our second time to the fantastic Michelangelo, we came in 2020 during the pandemic and hoped that with the relaxed rules now that it would be even better and it didn’t disappoint. Firstly KOSTAS in reservations thankyou you responded promptly to our email and arranged fantastic room 1921. Room was exceptionally clean and daily, food was hot, fresh and wide variety. All your staff in all your areas were tip top, on the ball and nothing was too much Can’t wait to return soon thanks so much again Kershaw-Downes family

Great place to chill out and relax in great comfort. The many pools offer a great variety, the infinity pool is lovely. The food is very good, very varied and there us something for everyone. The staff are absolutely wonderful, very helpful but not over attentive. The gold buggy service was brilliant, as a disabled person it was very helpful - thanks guys. It is difficult to single out individuals but Michalis Kastanakis, the hotel manager was a very friendly and knowledgeable man who was always eager to help. Adina in the bar area was very talkative and lots of fun, as well as looking after our every need from the bar. The evening entertainment is fabulous, much better than one might expect at a resort venue. My wife and I were amazed by the very varied acts.

We visited the hotel from 19 July until 29 July 2022. This was our second visit to this lovely hotel (the first one was back in 2019). Therefore, when travelling this time, we did know that we were going to find an exceptionally beautiful hotel located on an exceptionally beautiful location. However, we were so nicely surpriced by the attitude and services of all the hotel staff and above all by the great management! All employess of the hotel were increadibly helpful and willing to accomodate our needs. Our personal situation was complicated, because my husband is partially handicaped after having sufferred a stroke in the end of 2019. But, due to the aproach of the hotel manager and the emploees we were able to spend the most beautiful vacation at this place. Immediately after our arrival, the first help was that man who was operating the cart in cooperation with the reception arranged for us a different room when we found out that the original room had some stairs to go up to. So we were provided with a room of the same premium quality, but with no stairs to get to. The same evening of our arrival, the wonderful manager of the hotel asked us how he could help and offerred us a lift from the room by the cart to the reception at any time when it would be too difficult for my husband to walk up due to his handicap. Unlike in our hotels that we have experieced during our numerous trips to Greece, the manager of the hotel was always present, ready to solve any of your problem - but we did not have any problem - everything was taken care of with such diligence that we have not seen anywhere else. We never had to wait to be served at any of the restaurants/bars, everybody was prepared to take and expedite your order while not making any difference between all inclusive quests and paying quests (we were on all inclusive). Also the quality and variety of the all inclusive food and drinks was really great. The men operating the carts were also fantastic. Overall, we did not feel like turists, but like very welcome quests. The cleaning ladies were very diligent and not-intruding our privacy in any way - we were very satisfied with that service - the room was always cleaned up while we were gone to lunch, etc. And the beautiful beach with the great bar-woman Antigoni was amazing as well. The bar-woman made us drinks which were just fantastic - she always paid attention to each of the drink to be perfect and her bar was always kept clean and more than pleasant place to go to. If we are able to go on vacation next year, then our choice is more than clear - it will be the Michelangelo hotel. We have to thank one more time to the manager of the hotel and to all the emploees of the hotel who made our stay so enjoyable and unforgettable. While the location of the resort is nice and separate and the beach bar (incl. bar) is lovely, the big buffet hall and other facilities have no charme at all. Terrible boat trip was recommended and booked by the hotel and also an external dinner reservation made by the hotel failed and resulted in a Saturday evening without a table available. Only Ms. Nina did a great job. Lots of noise in the hotel room due to cleaning service and poorly insulated doors. Wouldnt go there again.

We arrived to complimentary drinks when checking in, the reception staff were so lovely. Check in was fast, and then we and our luggage were taking by buggy to our rooms. The Room - the room was spacious, the 3rd sofa bed are large and comfortable. The bathroom part looked the part, but was very open only closed off by frosted glass which was pretty see through, which is fine for a couple or with young children but when you have 2 teenagers, it wasnt the greatest. The rooms were cleaned daily, fresh towels everyday too, the cleaners did a great job!! and were so friendly. We have a seaview room, and waking up to that view each morning was so worth the money! The Pools - There was one massive infinity pool, which was absolutely stunning! very very cold, I didnt go in much but my family did and it was a welcomed relief to the heat. There was a pool bar there too, the young guy who took our order and collected the glasses around the pool was brilliant! i didnt catch his name but he worked so hard. We went to put our towels down at around 8.30 each morning, and quickly went to breakfast, the Pool/Towel guy does actually enforce the 60min towel rule, as we often saw him checking how long people were away from their beds in the morning and once even moved a families towels. But didnt see people hogging them at all. There was another pool which didnt seem as busy and was still nice to sit by, however the infinity pools views were just something else. The Food - we are pretty picky eaters, and there was always something to have, but comparing to other 5star hotels we have been too it wasnt a patch on them. The pool restaurant for All inclusive was rubbish if im honest, the food pizza and chips, and some little butties, but nothing great. Is ok now and again but same thing every day. You can buy food here, and looked fab, but why would we when we have already paid AI? The icecream here though was brilliant and the best we have ever had on holiday. You can go to the main restaurant for dinner too though. The main restaurant for Tea was so busy, and the guys there really work hard, but a couple of times we wouldn't get a drink untill we have finished our food, but they were so busy, and they still had a smile on their faces. More staff would help!! Overall the food was nice. Evening entertainment - was ok a few fellas singing everyother night. But we just played games. And went to Kos Town 3 times, which was around 20 mins away by bus, you could by the tickets from reception. But the bus can get very busy!! TIPS - There are so many steps, so people with mobility problems might find it hard to get around here. Its so windy, so I would take towel pegs but you can buy them from the hotel shop which was very reasonably priced. Overall I wouldnt go back as it would take something out of this world for us to go back somewhere as we like going to different places, but had a fab time here. Id recommend to anyone who hasnt been to a 5star before.

On so many fronts this is a really good hotel. The staff are excellent, the rooms comfortable and the quality of the drinks very good. However, it’s the setting and the sheer scale of the infinity pool that sets it apart. In a nutshell you can see the sea from just about anywhere in the hotel and if that’s not enough then you can relax by any number of pools or the small (pebbly) beach. Although the hotel was full when we stayed, you could generally find a sun bed, if you looked, and both the beach and pool bars had a great vibe. What slightly let’s this hotel down is the evening buffet. It’s not so much the quality of the food rather it’s the ambience; we felt it resembled a work place canteen. The Asian and Mediterranean restaurants are better, but you can only eat at these once if on AI. The buffet is fine for breakfast and lunch, but we would have preferred something more elegant for the evening. But for the evening buffet this would be 5* all the way.

Fantastic hotel with the best and largest infinity pool I have ever swam in, just the pool is worth the stay. Also it wasn’t too bad with the the towel reservation. The staff is warm and lovely, the food great and tasty, and everything was very clean. There was great entertainment most evenings. And the beach was lovely as well (you will need aqua shoes though in some areas because of the pebbles). The hotel is isolated, if you are looking for absolutely relaxation, this is the place to go.

The hotel is located at a calm area of Kos, so there is not much noise except maybe from other guests. They have the best panorama-pool that we have ever seen. The food is very good and they have theme nights like Greek- or Mexican-Food-Night. Breakfast was great and the staff at the restaurant was very friendly and attentive. We had half-board and that was fine. SPA is very nice and they have a modern fitness-room for training. Direct at the hotel there is a bus station, so you can take the bus almost every 30 minutes to visit Kos City. The stone beach is very beautiful and clean. We want especially compliment the great service of the guy who lend us the towels at the pool, the girl who served us at the beach bar, the nice lady who cleaned our room every day and the girl who made me an omelette with cheese every morning :-) We will definitely come back, if we visit Kos again. Thank you for the great time Michelangelo Resort & Spa, Anh and Sebastian from Munich
