We have just arrived home after a lovely 11 night stay. We booked two Premier sea view rooms and are really glad we did the views were beautiful. Our rooms were kept immaculately clean throughout our stay, lovely bedding and fluffy towels and a really good hairdryer. No shower gel which we found strange and thought the shampoo/conditioner in rooms let it down. Dressing gowns were a bit washed out and need replacing. We also found it strange that on all inclusive the mini bar was not included and water was not replaced in the room a large bottle was in the room on arrival and small bottles were obtained free of charge but think for a 5 star hotel water would be replaced daily but a minor problem! Food in buffet was fabulous the choice was really good and we had lovely meals at both the A la carte restaurants included as we were all inclusive infact the Soya restaurant we found outstanding we also had a champagne breakfast which we really enjoyed and was also included if you stayed all inclusive. The only complaint we had regarding the all inclusive was the standard of the sparking wine which was not prosecco or cava we are used to infact the wine choices were not so good. We used the spa and had a very disappointing massage on our second day but this was sorted out by the spa manager who organised us a further massage which was very much better. We loved using the indoor pool it was lovely and relaxing and a change from being out in the heat of the day. We also used the gym.The hotel is kept immaculate throughout and the staff are a credit to the hotel even though at times they are rushed off their feet especially at breakfast they are all super friendly and smiley and seem to enjoy working at the hotel. All in all we had a really lovely holiday and have decided to come back and have booked a stay for next year. Leaving Birmingham to come out to Kos was horrendous long queues at security arriving in Kos we were off the plane and collected our luggage very quickly and the airport was immaculate which could not be said about Birmingham! Same on our way back home very efficient in Kos and the airport in Kos made Birmingham look like a scruffy bus station! Looking forward to a return visit and a repeat of a very nice holiday indeed.

Six of us have just come back from a week at this Hotel/Spa and found it to be a luxurious and peaceful place to unwind. They have a comprehensive main buffet restaurant with the option to book their Mediterranean and Asian restaurants, but sadly they were fully booked for the nights we requested. the staff were brilliant and so helpful I really cannot fault the place.

Probably the best hotel I have ever visited in my entire life. Incredible welcome, breathtaking view and above all the food is very good. The atmosphere is really soothing while being festive at the same time. Group of young people, families, you will not disappointed.

The hotel was lovely. The views were even better in person. The staff, so kind and nothing was to much. Always said I would never visit the same place twice. I would revisit here. No question. They even provided a suprise cake for my partners birthday. Thanks to all involved for the perfect post pandemic relaxing holiday.

My boyfriend and I (22 and 21) stayed here for a week on half board. We had an overall great stay and noted some points. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. We paid for a partial sea view, which was worth it, however next time we would consider paying for full sea view as it was very limited with only a strip of the sea and mostly other buildings. The shower soaked the bathroom on every use which was a pain. The room had a large balcony complete with table set, as well as the rooms being air-conditioned. It also provided a fridge which was nice. We thought the room was dark, lacking a main light. Each light provided were wall lights or lamp which struggled to fill the room. The food at the hotel was overall good quality. The breakfast buffet was the same everyday with a great variety. However, the juice was very sugary and hard to drink as well as the coffee service being slow. One morning we asked for a coffee which never came - we found ourselves asking multiple times for hot drinks at breakfast. As well as the buffet, the hotel offered 2 other restaurants. The main buffet was good quality food and sometimes had themed nights which was great to try new foods. We really enjoyed eating at Soya Asian, the food was amazing with good portion sizes and a varied 4 course menu. The same was offered at the Mediterranean but just with smaller portions and less variety in my opinion. The views are nicer at this restaurant though as it is situated by the infinity pool. We recommend booking these as soon as you check in as they fill up fast and we were not made aware of this. We did eat at the pool bar a couple of times, which was pricey but this was expected being half board. We did pick up on the difference in treatment between half board and all inclusive guests regarding speed of service and better table options (dinner time). Staff, especially bar staff seemed to want to serve all inclusive guests more and these guests appeared to know waiters and bar staff on a personal level. The hotel itself is home to beautiful views all around the complex, especially from the infinity pool. The pools were really cold, but this is probably to do with the time of year. There are plenty of sun-beds around the pools and had no problem getting around the infinity pool after breakfast, again, probably dependent on the time of year. The location of the hotel is 10 minutes drive from Kos town, with frequent buses running outside of reception. The private transfers for any excursions also picked up straight outside. Excursions are available to book from reception and recommend doing this rather than booking with TUI (cheaper). We want to say a special thank you to Maria on reception who helped us book these trips and really made our stay that bit more comfortable. She even helped us move our restaurant booking one night to fit with one of the excursions to offer us a clearer sunset. She was lovely and friendly and really made the extra effort for us so we were very grateful. Overall, we had a great stay and felt really comfortable here. We would definitely return. Thank you Michelangelo :)

where to start....... from the moment we arrived at 5am on 5th may 2022 the staff couldn't do enough for you. everyone was friendly even the cleaners would say hello as they passed you. couldn't fault the extremely friendly, smiling staff. The views are unreal! breath taking in fact. we had a sea view room and I would highly recommend if you haven't booked a sea view room that you upgrade and do so! The rooms was big and spacious and very clean. clean towels and cleaners come every day. The infinity pool is lovely but it was very cold it could of done with being heated just slightly especially for the early and late season temperatures. The is lots of sunbeds available at all pool areas. The private beach is also lovely and quiet but being 6 month pregnant the hike back to the hotel killed me off haha. The breakfast was lovely we was half board as we also wanted to go and see kos and eat out but we ate breakfast at the hotel every morning. The evening meals was also nice there was some good nights and then some nights that just didn't do it for us but that is just our personal option on food options if your not fussy with food you will always find something to eat. Every other evening there would be a professional photographer waiting to snap some shots of you walking into to restaurant with the views behind you. this was a nice touch as we now have photos of us together for memories and not just mirror selfies. I would definitely recommend getting a car, it was a fair walk before you came to any restaurants/bars and roughly I would say its about an hour and half walk to kos town. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you straight to kos town in 20mins for 2 euro each person and they run about every 20 to 30 mins. There is a lovely guy based at the hotel and you get 10% off your car hire bookings if you book from them for staying at that hotel. We had one for 3 days and it was only 160 euros for 2 drivers and we saw all over Kos including the famous Zia sunset. Zia is a must visit day or night we did both! I would personally like to thank the hotel for a lovely memorable honeymoon stay and we will defiantly be returning in the future we love Kos and we will be back.

My partner & I have just returned from a weeks half board stay at Michelangelo feeling well rested and relaxed. These are my thoughts on our stay- The resort is situated on a hill top which gives you spectacular sea views with Turkey visible in the distance. We had a sea view room which is well worth paying the extra money for (the cheapest rooms are situated at the front of the hotel above the bar area which I imagine would be quite noisy as they have evening entertainment) . Our room was spacious , quiet and comfortable and I mostly slept very well . The hot water was a little bit tempremental depending on what time of the day you wanted to have a shower but overall it was a nice room. The staff are all great and super friendly. Special mentions to Maria K on reception , the strong man who lugged both our suitcases up three flights of stairs and the waiter with glasses at dinner who kept giving us free drinks. The infinity pool is gorgeous but is unfortunately freezing cold. I only braved it once. We were there in May when the temperature was a pleasant 25 but I suppose you might be glad of a cold pool in the summer time with Greece hitting the high 30's. It's the usual story in these sort of resorts , you have to get down there early if you want a spot by the pool. If you come any later than 10 am you will probably be unlucky and some people don't move all day!. If you do get a spot by the pool its a nice place to relax and soak up some sun. There are a couple of other small pools though (also freezing cold) if you can't get a spot by the infinity pool. The standard of food at the hotel is mostly very good and the buffet varies enough every day that you don't get bored. The food was frequently replaced with freshly cooked dishes and was nice and hot. Unfortunately there seemed to be a real problem with drinks at breakfast though - service was pretty slow , the coffee terrible and the water luke warm when you try to make a cup of tea. They also have no fresh juices - just some horrible sugary stuff out of a machine that tasted like Sunny Delight. They also have 2 a la carte restaurants - 'Mediterraneo' and 'Soya' which half board and all inclusive guests can eat only once in each during a weeks stay (a fact they neglect to mention on their website). Bookings are made on the app you have to download at check in . I would advise you to do that quick though as slots get booked up. They were both pretty good overall and you get a 4 course meal which we thought was good value for money. We also made use of the spa and had a massage , which appears to be a bit hit and miss. I enjoyed mine whereas my partner did not. Booking a treatment also gets you access to the indoor pool , sauna and steam room. If you don't have a treatment it costs half board guests an extra 15 euro a day to use (another thing that should perhaps be made clearer on the website). A few helpful tips for you - * Being up on a hill top the resort can get a bit windy at times, especially in the evening - so bring a jumper. * Buses stop directly outside the hotel - routes 1 & 5 both go into Kos Town and costs 2 euros each way . Journey time is about 15 minutes. * If you are staying half board and want somewhere different for lunch we highly recommend 'Taverna Romeo'. A few stops on the bus down the road from the resort. We ate there 3 times during the week , the food was fresh and tasty and the owner super friendly. A real character and a fine example of Greek hospitality. Overall whilst the resort isn't quite up to the standard of places like Ikos and Sani , it is considerably cheaper and we thought it overall very good value for money for what you get and would certainly recommend it to others.

I stay here with my daughter at the end of April 2022. Lovely facilities, exceptional view. Food was buffet style but good quality, loved the fresh honey comb! Coffee was generally luke warm or cold in the morning, but it wasn't the end of the world. It was to be expected as the hotel got busier over the week we were there. I was disappointed that room service was unavailable, but this was not something I was told. I ordered via my app & when nothing had arrived 45 minutes later I went to reception, who said there was no room service. It would be great if the app could send you some sort of notification, rather than having to wait & then go to reception. I was also disappointed that the laundry service also wasn't available. I placed my jeans in the bag (as the instructions in the room asked) and placed the bag, visibly on the desk. It sat there for 3 days before I gave up. There were 2 exceptional members of staff I'd like to mention, the lady that runs the shop during the day. She kindly offered to drive me & my daughter to Kos town, when we couldn't get any money from the ATM. An Alex by the pool, who was super attentive & very kind to us. He took the time to get to know us too! Thanks Both! Overall, we really enjoyed our time at the Michelangelo & I suspect that as the season was literally just starting, there were maybe some facilities not available yet. I'd recommend letting people know that either through the app or at reception.

Stayed here in October 21 after 4 previous attempts which were halted by Thomas cook going bankrupt and then covid. It was our first trip to Greece and it was certainly made a memorable one by the all of the staff and the beautiful island that is Kos. We arrived at the hotel and were immediately greeted by reception staff as well as a glass of Prosecco which both myself and girlfriend thought was a very nice touch. Our bags were then loaded onto a cart and we were driven to our room. The hotel was very clean, inside and out but I would definitely recommend upgrading your room to a sea view, you will instantly regret it once there if you haven’t. The facilities at Michelangelo were fantastic, we used the spa, pools, private beach (with beach bar) the staff were extremely efficient and never far away if assistance was needed. I don’t even know where to start with the infinity pool, it’s the most spectacular one I’ve seen. There was also entertainment within the hotel in the evenings. The food was great, a huge selection which changed on a daily basis, quite often we were both so full, we had no room for dessert. A special mention to the hotel manager Michalis, he was superb, and in my opinion at the top of his game, very highly regarded by fellow employees. During dinner one evening, I had a very minor issue with my salad, which I wanted to just bring to the attention of the staff, being a chef myself, I felt that it was worth bringing my situation to their attention. After doing so, the restaurant staff agreed with me and chose to inform the restaurant manager who then spoke to the hotel manager Michalis, as I stated previously, there really was not a problem however the staff clearly wanted to act upon my very minor issue. We were presented with a customised fruit platter and a complimentary bottle of wine. They made us look and feel like celebrities! This really is a great example of customer service at its highest level. We would often see Michalis getting involved with the day to day duties and aiding his fellow staff wherever possible. Something we do not see enough of these days….leading by example. We really did have a truly incredible experience in kos, the only place to stay is at the Michelangelo. This is a very well run hotel, it’s clean, the food is great, the staff are absolutely brilliant. We have just this week booked to return in may and I have also recommended to friends who are also visiting later in may. If you have any hesitations in booking this hotel, put them to rest and book straight away. You will not regret it.
