I would like to start by saying every time I engaged an interaction with an employee it was 5 stars. The service is great. The grounds are pretty nice as well as the room. The help was great as well. We enjoyed our stay in that regards. The bad - the timeshare people. I read the reviews on here and...

I got this room thru RCI exchange, did not pay the transfer fee since they had a promotion, used my points to pay for it. First off they do provide pickup from airport when you arrive, you have to call resort 3 days before and make a reservation. By the way they made us wait for about 45 min for...

First the good. The grounds are beautiful. Very well maintenance and clean. The pools are awesome! And the food is very good. The bad. This place is huge and you do a lot of walking. Or you wait for shuttles that takes time. The resort is nice, but overpriced for value. The ugly! From check in to check out the...

If you need a handicapped equipped room this is not the place for you. I had called ahead to ask for a handicapped room and was told they had them and would put us down for one ( a lie). I asked if they had shower stalls and told yes (a second lie). Also the person I talked to said...

I must say that I was a bit nervous about my choice of this resort for my recent vacation after reading some of the reviews on this site and others. The check in was uneventful and were were given adjoining rooms in building 4 which was within an easy walk of the pool. The rooms were a good size, not...

The Mayan Palace is part of the Vidanta Group, and only a part of the very large complex in this Riviera Maya property. The service, cleanliness, attention to detail, food were all very good. Room: We had a studio that is more like a hotel room without a kitchen. It also didn't have a coffee maker, so we brought Starbucks...

Just spent a week at the Mayan Palace. The service was remarkable at the restaurants, pool and room staff. Food quality was that of fine restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Nektar, Gong and Azur. We did the cooking class at Blue Fish and the Tequila Tasting at the Wine Bar. Definitely recommend!

Aquired this trip through Interval International as a getaway. They didn't mention that I had to attend a sales presentation, that takes up half your day, or I wouldn't get the discounts. Not very fond of the sales tactics. They don't like it when you say NO. The whole facility is made up of 5 hotels. The grounds are very...
