"Our Guesthouse is located in a quiet area in the center of Bayahibe, one of the "most beautiful fishing villages" in the Dominican Republic, according to travel guides. " The property is 200 m away from the Caribbean Sea. Free Wi-Fi is available in all Guesthouses 'areas and we offer "Comfort Rooms" and Apartments. In two apartments is a private Jacuzzi available. The capital, Santo Domingo, is around 150 km away, and can be reached by bus or car in less than 2 hours thanks to the direct highway. Punta Cana, the airport with the most flight arrivals and departures from Europe, can be reached in less than 45 minutes by car or bus. All of the sights, facilities and activities, beaches, restaurants and bars are within 3 to 10 minutes walking distance. There are also dive centers nearby, as well as various car and motorbike rentals, colmados (convenience stores), a bank and supermarket.... If you feel like visiting the surroundings, check out Isla Saona, just 30 km away. Bayahibe Guesthouse is German-owned and we take pride in running our Guesthouse according to German standards and service while also preserving the Caribbean flair.

We stayed 3 nights in this guesthouse and we were thrilled by the confort and the charm especially at that level of price.
The bungalows are nicely set around a small garden, all with a terrasse, air conditioning, TV (but who uses it?!), well everything is there even the beach towels.
Breakfast is served at the restaurant on the marina, with the best view on boats and sea.
Close to local comidores and restaurants, we enjoyed so much staying there rather than being cramped in the big all inclusive hotels in Dominicus.
Christian the owner is adorable and efficient as well as his staff.
We highly recommend this guesthouse

Bayahibe Guesthouse played a big part in making our trip to Bayahibe a wonderful experience. The owners of the hotel, Gladys and Christian, were extremely hospitable and friendly. They arranged wonderful transportation from the airport that allowed for an easy and painless arrival experience. They were very responsive via email prior to arrival which was very helpful during the planning process.
The rooms were clean and well maintained and we felt very safe the entire time. Loved the proximity to the beach and exploring the lively little town of Bayahibe. The complimentary breakfast was served in a great restaurant right on the water a few blocks down the road. There was a day that we mentioned we had a boat tour and assumed we would miss breakfast but hotel staff went above and beyond and had breakfast delivered to our room before we left for our tour. What great service! Overall it was a wonderful stay.

The owners, Gladys and Christian, are absolutely lovely; full of helpful recommendations and eager to help with anything you need! Gladys picked me up from the airport and gave me a quick tour of town, which was super helpful.
As a solo female traveler, I felt very comfortable staying here (and in Bayahibe in general). The guesthouse 2 min from the main road and a bunch of dining options. The rooms are very cute and comfortable, and I liked that there was a bench outside of each, facing a courtyard. It was lovely to have the option to relax outside and meet some other travelers. I also stayed at the Hilton for a few days, but I really preferred being in town (I was mostly there for scuba diving, but also enjoyed afternoons at the public beach).

In the center, a guest house managed by Titica, a young local who is always present and available 24 hours a day because he sleeps in the reception.
The structure is divided into mini studios complete with everything and with daily cleaning and change of towels.
Central to the town's nightlife, there is a small supermarket opposite open from 8am to 10pm which also prepares excellent breakfasts

We (couple, mid-50s) stayed with Christian for 5 nights before a cruise. The communication beforehand with Christian was very good and informative. We will remember everything about this stay fondly. After our arrival, we were greeted by Titika, the man for everything, and accompanied to our accommodation. We were given an apartment in a separate building, less than 5 minutes' walk from the guesthouse. Everything there was spotlessly clean and more than functional. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great too. The highlight was the beautiful terrace with outdoor kitchen, dining table, chairs, 2 sun loungers and a whirlpool. Simply great. It's not a 5-star apartment, but it's still great. The town of Bayahibe is not what we imagined it would be, but "much nicer". It certainly requires a bit of individualism, but you really are in the Dominican Republic here. In the evenings, the small streets become a party mile. Caribbean music comes from all the bars and restaurants and the people are all friendly and apparently happy. You are almost only among locals, but you don't need to be afraid or feel uncomfortable. You are right in the middle of it all. One of the highlights was breakfast in a small beach bar that Christian recommended to us. 1 meter from the water, feet in the sand, Caribbean music, great coffee and delicious eggs Benedict. Watching the hustle and bustle in the harbor and on the beach was simply unforgettable. A day trip with PuntaCana in German, to Isla Saona was another highlight. On the day of departure, Titika got us a taxi at a special price for the trip to La Romana and Christian came by especially to say goodbye. And what will happen? We will definitely see each other again!!!! 100% recommendation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel was recommended by the Scubafun diving center. It is easy to find and was excatly as described. I was welcomed by the owner and check in was very easy. The staff helped me with the parking and the luggages. The room smelled very clean and fresh. The outdoor is designed as a Zen like garden which is very relaxing. The owner did give me tips about local restaurants and shops. This not the first time I visited Bayahibe and has been disappointed a few times with hotels. The Guesthouse is the first time I have being satisfied with an hotel quality price ratio. I will be back. It is nice to find hotel like the Guesthouse where customer's satisfaction is their priority!

Guesthouse was relaxing, clean, safe and very quiet. Next to natural pool which I loved getting in at night. We were there Monday to Wed last week. Almost missed boat to Sanoa on Tuesday morning because we were so relaxed and comfortable. All requests were handled right away and staff was AMAZING. I'm planning to return and stay longer. Just a few pictures below..enjoy¿¡%$$#@

We really enjoyed staying in this small “Saona” Suite, well located in the center of the charming town of Bayahibe. A few minutes from the sea, shops and restaurants and 2 minutes from Scubafun, a great diving club. The apartment comes with a parking space and a terrace with a jacuzzi for those not feeling cold, but it has the merit of existing. We recommend this establishment without hesitation 👍

Lovely apt, separate living area, good kitchen to cook meals, as well as table and chairs, sparkling clean. Cleaner does amazing job. We had a few minor issues, like lock broke on balcony door, but this was fixed in a couple of days. There is a constant 24 hrs noise from the water tank below bedroom window. It was very annoying for first few days, but we got used to it, so much so we extended our stay!
An information pack would be greatly appreciated.
Big shout out to Tiki, wonderful person.
Beach is very close as well as yummy restaurants and bars. We left having a soft spot for bayahibe.
Overall a good stay and would highly recommend this guest house.

Saint-Gabriel-De-Brandon, Canada25 contributions45 helpful votesI’m looking to stay there for a week, at the end of February, beginning of March, but definitely going, you do arrange transportation there and back, I have a few questions, 1 can we walk to the public beach beside the hilton resort from were you are and how long is the walk, 2 I heard there lots of restaurants around and bars is it safe for 2 women, 3 and we need to pay cash for the room, thanks in advance
Walk from the guesthouse top the public beach is not difficult. Maybe 15 minutes if you don't rush. There are a few places to stop and eat along the way. You'll love the breakfast spot, Playa Barco Bar, and the wonderful folks who own it!!
