We stayed 3 nights in this guesthouse and we were thrilled by the confort and the charm especially at that level of price. The bungalows are nicely set around a small garden, all with a terrasse, air conditioning, TV (but who uses it?!), well everything is there even the beach towels. Breakfast is served at the restaurant on the marina, with the best view on boats and sea. Close to local comidores and restaurants, we enjoyed so much staying there rather than being cramped in the big all inclusive hotels in Dominicus. Christian the owner is adorable and efficient as well as his staff. We highly recommend this guesthouse

Bayahibe Guesthouse played a big part in making our trip to Bayahibe a wonderful experience. The owners of the hotel, Gladys and Christian, were extremely hospitable and friendly. They arranged wonderful transportation from the airport that allowed for an easy and painless arrival experience. They were very responsive via email prior to arrival which was very helpful during the planning process. The rooms were clean and well maintained and we felt very safe the entire time. Loved the proximity to the beach and exploring the lively little town of Bayahibe. The complimentary breakfast was served in a great restaurant right on the water a few blocks down the road. There was a day that we mentioned we had a boat tour and assumed we would miss breakfast but hotel staff went above and beyond and had breakfast delivered to our room before we left for our tour. What great service! Overall it was a wonderful stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights after a few days in Punta Cana for a music festival (that was at an all-inclusive resort) and loved it. Nice people, simple but very comfortable accommodations, a nice little kitchenette, and did I mention such nice people? We stayed in the upstairs room. Very sweet. Functional kitchenette with enough cookware and the stuff you need to cook your own dinners if you want to do so, and a ni e fridge to keep cold drinks and perishables. There's a small market almost across the street and others within a short walk. But there are some wonderful places to eat in town too. Nights are not quiet, so if you need super quiet this may not be for you. You hear the city around you... Music from nightspots (however the place next door had the most enjoyable sort of lounge music. Old standards and some Beatles and contemporary stuff) and you hear dogs and chickens and people... You hear life going on in a small village in the Dominican Republic. And after four days in the sterility of an all-inclusive resort, it was really lovely. I suppose you have to appreciate this type of environment, but we do and we loved it...

I was treated so well from before I even arrived at this sweet guesthouse. The owners were super responsive and even made an adjustment in my booking as I decided last minute to come a day earlier. I got a room in the apartments which was a few streets away from the main guesthouse. The whole team at Bayahibe were lovely, the owners, host and cleaners all work hard to make it such a lovely spot. I really enjoyed my time here. Breakfast is served up at a cafe that overlooks the beach. You can enjoy your breakfast with your feet in the sand. Thanks!

I was traveling alone this trip and was scuba diving with nearby Coral Point Diving. This hotel was spotless, the beds were comfortable and it was very secure. The room was cleaned daily and the towels were refreshed. There was a refrigerator in the room, AC, ceiling fan and a safe for valuables. There is no pool. It's 2 small blocks to the waterfront and the main drag of Bayahibe. Daily breakfast of a ham sandwich, fruit and coffee was included in the low price. I found the hotel to be extremely comfortable, albeit no frills.
