Well the rooms were nice clean and liked it, the food is good but the they have almost be having the same food, it be better if the buffet have different food or a special meal of the day. the buffet should serve more seafood like shrimp for ex instead only fish. The guys from Zumba their 10/10 amazing love it , these guys need a raise they're doing a good entertaining people. One this place need is more entertainment at night , it gets boring. Weird there’s no gym to workout. All I know is this resort is economic.cheap but still okay and like the pools

This hotel, mainly caters for Dominican Republic people. The entertainment is very poor staff speak little English. This is not a hotel I would recommend The hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere. There are some small mini markets and shops which just seem to want to sell you narcotics.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the charming and efficient Melany who by the way, remains calm and composed no matter the amount of pressure at reception. Starlin was awesome too and never lost his smile. However, dealing with Elvis is another story .... (our ONLY unpleasant experience with the hotel staff). We paid a very reasonable price with Sunwing and we really got value for money at the hotel. The room was of decent size and very clean. Towels were changed everyday and if ever we needed anything additional, we called reception and our request was attended to within 30 minutes. The food was varied (maybe not the tastiest) and there was a wide selection of vegetables. It would have been nice if there was information in English about the show times. The hotel grounds are very well kept. All in all, our BEST experience in a 3-star hotel. For the price, we just couldn't ask for more. THANK YOU GUYS. WE LOOK FORWARD TO COMING BACK SOON!

Please save your money, your health and stay away from this overrated place!!! I am in shock how this place can be rated on the Trip Advisor with over 3 Stars??? Probably good reviews are from the locals who are coming for the weekends and treat us tourist like invisibles. I would give this place only one star for the view. There is a problem with everything; towels, clean room and sheets and even with bottled waters!!! Our room was very old, with a rusty night lamp, moldy bathroom and a hair dryer which had a too short cord so we couldn’t even use it!!! plus we had cockroaches in the bathroom!!! But the worst was the food!!! Very low quality and awful tasting food! Even juices are not fresh but the cheapest fake ones from a big plastic bottle. The beach is 10 m away, the ride is free from the hotel, if you want to rent an umbrella and a beach chair you have to pay. This is definitely not the All Inclusive Hotel. You have to pay $3 per day for the safe, only one restaurant is included, but the food is also terrible. The second restaurant is quite expensive but I heard from the people who ate there that they just wasted their money. Everyone occupied the snack bar where they served very simple pizza, burgers, sometimes hot dogs and nachos. I think the snack bar’s ”kitchen” was never cleaned. This was my second time in Dominican Republic and definitely the last one! The people who worked there are nice and I think they could do better but it’s not their fault that who ever runs this place doesn’t care. Even when you complain what they can do if they don’t have clean towels, sheets, water, equipment or good products. I would rather not to write a bad review but I just want to aware everyone to stay away from this place.

Need to understand what you are paying for. The Hotel is on the water but does not have a beach. The hotel does supply transfer to the beach though, which we did not use since we had a car. It is not a 5-star resort with numerous restaurant. A good portion of the staff is not too focused on service. They tend to try to ignore the customers. It is a smaller hotel which is clean, but as 1 reviewer stated there were a lot of flies in the bathroom so be sure to keep the door closed. The staff for the most part are nice, but only a handful are helpful. The first night we arrived, we went to the buffet for dinner and the chef behind the griddle was extremely rude and did not recognize any of the guests and it was pretty bad. We were cordial (it was our first experience) but this person was so rude we had to ask for the manager, which gave us a space to the a la carte restaurant to dine. The buffet menu was fine, but if you are looking for high-end items (such shrimp and steak) you will not find it here. The a la carte restaurant you need to get reservations early because the fill up quick and days in advance. Note also that not all the menu is covered under the all-inclusive tag. If you want lobster, shrimp and steak you need to pay extra. We actually spent the extra money to go with the Sushi restaurant. The staff there were great, service and quality what you would expect. The pool water was freezing, to me, for the caribbean. The late night entertainment was delightful but make sure to get a spot early to get a good seat. The bartenders, at the pool bar area (alma) were not much of bartenders. They did not pay much attention to the guest, only one really paid attention to their job. But if you are not needing to be pampered and looking for the right place at the right price this is the place. It is good for a week stay, but if you were to stay more than a week this place would get old quick. I would recommend if you are on a budget and want a pleasant vacation.

Overall we had a fantastic time but we did encounter some issues. Being the only English guests in the hotel for the entire holiday we decided to write an honest review! Pros- good location, great snorkelling right off the hotel, easy walking distance to the small town and beach. Quiet (except at weekends when lots of Dominicans). Wouldn't recommend visiting in peak times. Grounds were well maintained. Attentive security staff keeping an eye on everything. But we did feel lucky to have a well placed room, think our experience could have been very different in another room. There were several that overlooked car parks, restaurants and other unsightly views. Cons- big issue with no one speaking English. Very difficult to communicate with anyone. Housekeeping - be very careful. Lost at least three items taken from the room- have not had any reply from management regarding this either. Otherwise we also found the Housekeeping staff to be very unfriendly, even rude and work of a very low standard. Room not cleaned properly, left our door wide open when we were out of the room all day, didn't clean parts of the room at all, three days without toilet paper even though we asked repeatedly, clean towels didn't arrive till 4pm daily so if you wanted a shower before that you couldn't, threw bed cover in the corner, left dusters in the room and staff were caught in the room on their phone. Bear in mind the hotel was very empty, not really any excuse for the poor standard. Mosquitos very bad in the bathroom, they came up the drains. Room safe - biggest disappointment. Clearly states on their website that the safe is free, we even emailed to ask prior to arrival and were told the safe was definitely free. Upon arrival however there was a daily charge and with a holiday of two weeks this ended up being expensive. All inclusive food - good breakfast, bad other meals. Presented well but very similar every day and odd choices, often poor quality. Snack bar had friendliest staff, but food quite hit and miss, sometimes left there for hours. Personally a very big issue for us was the huge overuse of single use plastic cups. Plastic is a massive environmental issue worldwide and there was no way to get around their usage. Huge amounts discarded in the sea or on the sand, the team cleaned them up but it was quite distressing to see the thousands people go through daily. Reusable cups at the drink stations would be a major improvement. Great holiday, definitely a 4 star so don't expect any luxury but if looking for a decent cheap hotel in good location would recommend. Local area is relatively safe to walk around, lots of security and police presence. Good little local pizza restaurant nearby.

The lock on the balcony door was missing so we could not lock the balcony door. We told reception about it and they sent a repair guy but there was nothing he could do. Even though we asked for another room we were told we would have to remain in that room until the next day. We paid to upgrade the room, same problem exist. You have to pay per day to use the Safety Deposit box (not included in the “All Inclusive). The food options were very limited and repetitive. I find that the menu was not mindful of dietary restrictions where dairy and pork are concerned. The food was always cold from the “Hot Buffet”. We actually lost weight on our vacation. The salt water pool was interesting but I found the water to be cold so I didn’t hang out much in it. If you would like to use a towel you have to deposit $20 USD per person by reception to use the towels. Communicating with staff was challenging as they spoke very little English. There are three restaurants on-site one of which you have to pay (not all inclusive) Have not seen a schedule for daily activities or nightly entertainment. From what I could tell the entertainment was never at the same time. Definitely not a four star resort.

If you know what you are getting into, you would be happy. But keep in mind that this is not your typical all-inclusive resort. Now the long story - We are not a big fan of all inclusive hotels and hence usually we split our trips into 2 parts - first non-all-inclusive (when we explore the country) and later half crash into an all inclusive. For DR trip, we were planning to stay in an apartment around Bayahibe (so that we can explore Saona, Santo Domingo etc) and then head to Punta Cana for all inclusive. That's when we came across this hotel. Almost all reviews had complained about the food. But we were getting an ocean front room at a very reasonable price. So we decide to bite the bullet and go for it (assuming we would treat the food at the hotel just as a backup). This was a tricky place for me to rate since the good things about the hotel were really good, and the bad were really bad! First let's start with the good parts - - The pools and the views is mind blowing. Since this place is built at a rocky shore, they have literally built the pools at the edge of the ocean. The water from pools fall down into the ocean. So you get that mesmerizing infinity pool experience. Watching sunsets from the infinity pool was how we spent all our evenings there. - We opted for an ocean view room and it was the best decision of the trip. The room was huge - with 2 king beds and a giant balcony overlooking the ocean. Sleeping with the balcony doors wide open and with breeze flowing all night was serene. - It's a well maintained, clean property. The small gardens make it feel cozy. - Drinks were well made. They don't have a premium feel since served in a plastic use n throw cup, but at least they have good amount of liquor. Bads : - Food - Choice wise, they have a buffet restaurant and just one a la carte restaurant - which was full throughout our stay. So the only choice for us was the buffet. And it was terrible. Almost everything was flavorless. The white sauce pasta tastes like pasta plus flour plus water with no seasoning or cheese whatsoever. Even at snacks, the pizza was inedible. Marinara sauce is such a basic thing, but even that was tasteless. Overall, I would still recommend a stay at this hotel (and definitely the ocean view room). But use the restaurant here just as a backup (i.e. only for breakfast and one of those lazy evenings.) We ate all the lunches outside and we couldn't be happier. Another thing is - avoid weekends. We reached on Saturday evening and the hotel was full of locals. Long queues everywhere for food, drinks etc. But from Sunday evening, it was very quiet.
