This is a nice, quaint little hotel away from the center of town. The center gets rather loud in the evenings as this is where the locals hang out to relax and enjoy loud music. Villa Baya is only a short walk from the town center but much quieter when sleeping. Everything in Bayahibe is within walking distance so it's... More

Clean, little space slightly away from the Main Street in tiny Bayahibe. We were here as tourists, not with the usual crowd of divers and tour boats from the all inclusive invaders. The location is perfect. You can watch it all go one from the balcony, but be safely ensconced behind locked gates. For me...the security was an added value.... More

Everything! The owners and the staff were extremely nice and welcoming; the location was perfect! I have nothing negative to say...it was exactly what we wanted. Laid back, clean and felt like home. I've seen posts complaining about roosters? What roosters? I barely heard them, then again, I enjoy the sound after spending so much time in Jamaica listening to... More

I visited Dominican Republic a week ago for my 28th Birthday. After doing tons of research on what part of Dominican Republic I wanted to visit, I decided on Bayahibe. I didn't want to stay in an area that felt like a "tourist trap." I wanted a more authentic experience among the locals while still feeling safe. As soon as... More

We vere exited about everything there - first, Bayahibe is a beautiful and very clean small village, so the location is excellent anywhere. Second, the hotel itself is very clean. The standard room we had was small, but got all you need - a wardrobe, a fridge with a freezer, a comfortable bed. Every room has a large terrace, so... More

Wonderful staff and always a smile. Clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable as was the sleeper sofa. The kitchen appeared to have all needed equipment but we did not cook in suite. Bathrooms clean and hot water worked well. Close to anywhere in Bayahibe with free secure parking inside the compound. Internet worked well. The only negative were... More

Stayed for three nights in this clean and tidy place. Unfortunately got a room on the bottom floor and towards a noisy neighbour. In the mornings indeed the roosters wake you up, but I can't see how that could be fixed. You get complimentary coffee and fruits in the morning. WiFi worked best in the reception but decent in the... More

**** Five stars Nothing at this place deserve five stars **** Four stars Service. It's clean. Its safe. The kitchen is well equipped and works really good. The patio is very tranquil and cosy. The fact that they offer coffee and fruit is a great little detail. *** Three stars The buildings are very beautiful. The towels and linen are... More

First, the bottom line: Villa Baya Aparta-Hotel gives you great value and friendly staff, and we highly recommend this hotel. We felt very safe at Villa Baya and in the whole Bayahibe village, as well as in the Dominicus area. The manager of the hotel is Italian and is named Mariano. He speaks very good English and the hotel is... More

Nice facility, good location, friendly staff, I stayed on the 3rd floor, huge patio, the room had a fan ,(no a/c with kitchen type rooms) many windows, all were screened, had nice breeze and was not hot, plenty of parking, good value. Free coffee and fruit plate for breakfast, great coffee. The kitchen had plenty of pots pans etc. Very... More
