This was my fourth stay in Turkey, second in Sarigerme, in early October. The weather was fantastic, with a couple of cloudy but still warm days. We went on the TUI transfer, there was one stop on the way at a family resort nearby. Check in was very quick in the early hours of the morning, was a bit disappointed not to be greeted with a juice or towel which is usual for a hotel of this standard, but not the end of the world. We were whisked to our room on a buggy and on first impressions was very pleased with it, good sized, clean and a big comfortable bed! No bath but no bother, had a big shower. I thought the room was well equipped, the storage and mirrors, fridge etc! Iron available on request. When we woke up in the morning we looked out at our view, we paid for a sea view which was a very small price extra, it was partial and a few big trees in the way, but still beautiful and worth the extra! The balcony was positioned so it was private to the others in the block. We were lucky to be just around the corner from the main pools and restaurant with a short walk up a hill. Could have been worse. I think being further away would have hindered our visit slightly, I like to be close to everything but yes there were shuttles going up and down. I think one of the best things about this hotel was the food. A really great choice and I loved the Turkish nights. Chefs were always friendly and said hello as did most staff really, no problems there. Other guests as well, mainly German and then British, created a good atmosphere around the hotel. I know a bit of German, it helped with the staff who were not so good with English. We visited the a la carte restaurant which was worth it. The food was better than the service, but it made a nice change from going to the buffet. It was quite dark when eating, a few tables had extra candles so they could see what they were actually eating! The pools were amazing with the views over the sea, beach and island opposite. Missing that view now! The drinks – in our opinion the cocktails were not worth drinking (I did like one, Seno sunset I think it was called?), but the mixers and beer was ok. The mixers were a lot better when the branded tonic from a bottle was used. Wine was ok the more you had :-). It was good that there were fridges dotted around so you could get your own water as well. The beach area was lovely, with a buffet restaurant and pool. Plenty of chairs. Yes the insects were a bit annoying, just had to try and ignore them. The water was shallow and calm so you could just paddle and cool down. It was quite funny one day, we took a walk from the Sarigerme beach all the way round back to the private beach alongside the rocks and I got ‘pinched’ by one of the blue crabs! Shout out to him. We found as advertised, the evenings quite low key but the starlight bar was quite good and kept us occupied up until midnight most evenings. The shows we watched were short but good fun. The DJ after was ok as well and got most people up dancing. I have stayed at a couple of other Sensimar resorts (I know this isn’t Sensimar now) and there was a lot more entertainment here for something that was supposed to be lower key, so was happy with that as like to go out of an evening. Tip – the app was useful for weather, submitting requests for housekeeping etc, finding out what was going on each day…Also a few good trips were offered, none of which I went on due to doing similar or the same on previous visits. We managed to get a late checkout which was great as the flight was later and we could enjoy another lovely day at the resort with access to our room. When we left we called up for our bags to be collected and began the journey home. Much bigger bus this time, which stopped once again, but somewhere else, at the very lively Holiday Village Sarigerme, bit of a blast from the past for me having stayed there many years ago. All in all a great hotel which is clean as a whistle(!), and a very relaxing stay which was well worth the price we paid. Will I have a fifth visit to Turkey - I hope so!

We visited this adults only hotel in the last week of October. Our first impression of this wonderful place was that it looked very much like Centre Parcs being set in a forest. That’s where the comparison ends though as this was a beautiful set of room blocks set on the side of a hill (a very steep hill!). That said there are shuttle buses that run from reception right down to the beach every 5/10 minutes so you don’t have to walk if you don’t want to. The rooms were lovely, very clean and decorated beautifully. The only downside was the open bathroom! The toilet and shower are enclosed a frosted glass. The food was plentiful and varied. I defy anyone to say that they could not find anything they liked. There is a buffet restaurant and two further restaurants one of which you can use once during your stay included in your all inclusive package. There is also a beach restaurant which serves a variety of different dishes for lunch. The beach itself is amazing in its own little cove. The water is shallow and warm. There is also a saltwater swimming pool here. There are a further three pools further up the hill. We went to the beach every day and stayed until we ran out of sun to sit in. The staff at this resort are amazing. Every single one of them greets you every time they see you and are always willing to answer any questions you might have. They all work extremely hard and seems to love the place as much as the guests which is rare these days. All in all it was one of the best places we have been to in a long time and will be back again soon.

My husband and I went for a weeks chill out after a pretty hectic year and we did exactly that. This hotel is a dream come true we could not fault it. We loved everything about it. The location is stunning the first impressions took our breath away it was just fantastic. The room gorgeous and spotless. The food was amazing huge choice at every meal time. The restaurant and the beach snack bar were equally good for their selection and choice. I had a massage one afternoon and it was heavenly. Really relaxing, the spa and gym area looked good but I only went there for my massage I was being very lazy and didn’t do any exercise at all. But that was the point of the break. The staff are charming and cannot do enough for you. I think some reviewers mentioned staff not talking to them but I think it is because some of them only know quite basic English and are still learning so find it difficult to have a conversation. I found them to be very helpful and kind. I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday it’s absolutely stunning and I want to go back again soon. The weather for October was fantastic 28 degrees every day really sunny and hot. We came home with fabulous tans. Thank you for a brilliant time.

Came to this resort for a 4 day holiday on 26th October. Spotlessly clean, lots of sunbeds either by the pools or on the beach. We paid extra for a sea view.. Amazing, even had a sunny afternoon balcony 3061. Food was OK for me, plenty of choice but a bit repetitive. Entertainment team were fab getting us to join in at the starlight bar/disco as we're the barstaff My negatives... The hills (cardiac hills) convinced daughter was trying to kill me off.. Though there was a regular shuttle bus to take you around resort As end of season there were few and far between at one point only about 20 of us around main pool but advantage of not queuing for drinks.. Bathroom has a glass/etched window that faces into room.. Not very private if your just with friends Limited communication about closure of main restaurant and guests to use lagoon bar and A'la carte restaurant for evening meal.. Was more hearsay of other guests rather than notice put up. Had my birthday when I was there daughter had emailed/contacted before had and was on booking but nothing special was done except by the entertainment team unlike other resorts that decorated room etc. Overall I would go back but just not at this time of year.. Make sure if considering it you are well aware of the hills.. Not very disabled friendly due to this
