My Experience in Eagles Palace was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, plus the hotel was so beautiful. Food was on point and the rooms as well. An overall great experience and I would definitely recommend it !
We are a family of 4 ((2 children aged 25 and 18 years) who have just returned from the wonderful Eagles Palace! From the moment we arrived and were picked up from the airport in the hotel shuttle bus until the we left 10 days later, we could not praise this hotel or its staff enough (especially Gorgia on reception)! My son somehow managed to disable his room key almost every day and Gorgia ever smiling always sorted it out for him! Theana at the Melathron restaurant is also amazing and a great credit to this hotel. Our rooms were spotlessly cleaned by happy, friendly cleaners and the whole experience at Eagles was amazing. The health spa, beach and pool are second to none and again the staff throughout the whole resort were first class and what makes this place so special! Thank you Eagles Palace for a much needed wonderful family holiday and we hope to be back again sooon!!! Regards The George Family…
One of the finest hotel in Halkidiki, excellent hotel, very helpful and kind staff. The rooms are amazing, with sew view and close to the nature!! The cuisine is unbelievable, very delicious plates, we ate three times in Armyra the fish restaurant. The service is excellent like it has to be in a 5 star hotel. Sakis, Amanto, Margarita, Konstantina, Niki to the pool bar and all the staff was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. We strongly recommend this hotel, without second thought. We will return back soon for sure!!!! Thank you to all the team.
The hotel is absolutely amazing. It combines the beauty of the nature and the religiosity of the area. Our accomndation was amazing, an incredible week of bliss. We have booked a superior twin sea view, a very beautiful room with spectacular view. The sandy beach is very close to the hotel, so anyone can spend the whole day at the beach, no hurries. The hotel offers a variety of restaurants and daily activities. We ate at Vinum and the italian one, both of them offer delicious plates!!! The ladies at the reception Kostadina, Elena and Margarita were very kind and helpful, they gave us information for the whole area and daily activities. We really enjoed the live music, the spa taster and the wine tasting. The last two days we used the hotel's transfer in order to visit Ouranoupolis, a very nice and traditional village. The transfer costs only 15€ per way and it was so comfortabe because you don't have to wait for a taxi. We truly recommend it and we are really looking forward to seeing you again guys. See you next year!!!! …
Hotel is overrated lobby area and impressive hallways and then tired bedrooms.Transfer is 90minutes from Thessaloniki airport. When I checked in,I went straight to the beach bar and ordered lunch,my order was taken & I waited 35mins to be told they couldn’t fulfil my order & to mention it to reception if I had a problem very rude & confrontational staff .Yes my problem was I hadn’t eaten in 8 hours and you took my order NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY provided literally no f#ck$ given!! My 1st encounter was the staff were exceptionally rude and this was my 1st impression of the property. So the lovely lady in guest services offered me a Paloma cocktail complimentary to apologise the next day she agreed that it wasn’t acceptable how the beach bar staff treated ME the customer & guest.I was more an inconvenience at after 3 when they close at 4.But throughout the week I placed a further 4 drink orders from the poor and indoor lobby bar that were just never served to me.Staff overall we’re just disinterested. So literally then I realised a cocktail was €13-14 & my second day lunch option cost €22 for 5 prawns on 3 Bao Buns INSANE. No Shuttle is provided to the nearby town by the hotel so it costs €24 for a round trip to get decent food and drinks. There is another larger down €25 each way that local Taxi’s will bring you to to buy local produce & not be ripped off for local Greek wine and decent and edible food.Loads of people were sick from the buffet restaurant that I meet but luckily I was fine just it was freezing EVERY night. Dominated pork, veal, fish and the rest just completely gross food overall just Meh & off putting to face the same poor selection everynight. Dinner no water provided you must purchase bottled water & wine was priced between €8-11.50 per glass or buy a bottle of wine and they will cork it for you to bring to your room and bring back to dinner with you the following night -absolute madness!! The rooms were tired and very basic -two twin beds pushed together to make a double that kept separating, the safety deposit box doesn’t fit a laptop.Housekeeping we’re the only exceptional service of my stay as my sheets, towels and room was pristine & to a high cleanliness standard. Nice spa area with a pool, jacuzzi, thermal suite rooms available to use.Handy that beach towels were available all day and replenish-able. Would I go back? NO & why NOT - It’s Same SAME.Lacks atmosphere and variety & a friendly smile from staff. Our transfer back to the airport left us way too tight to make our flight comfortably and give us no time at the airport. On settling my bill ,I expressed my concern on the transfer with the mature receptionist with frizzy hair and she was dismissive yet we got to the airport with less than an hour to queue for our bag drop and make it to our gate that was boarding when we were at security queue. If you were needing airport assistance it’s was too tight the return offered transfer & others on my transfer has expressed concerns that we should have left more time! Get a taxi daily to Ouranopoli to meet friendly Greek locals & enjoy affordable and delicious Greek food.I would highly recommend Kentrikon local eatery & Deli shop. For a massage and & to get your gel Nails done go to Namaste in Ouranopoli they are open Tues to Sat 9-9pm. The Golden Hook was the recommendation that all the hotel guest during my weeks stay were going too .I would highly recommend eating in the local eateries in the Ouranopoli village and the proprietors offer you a lift back or you can get a Taxi for €12.You can buy local produce wines, olives, oils all in Ouranopoli.(5 mins Taxi spin each way) So I’m summary Eagels is tired, not 5⭐️ by Western European standard & the Staff just NOT accommodating or friendly. I meet two nice staff in one week. I was glad to be leaving and would have been happy with 3 days as a week was far too long to stay here. I won’t be recommending to friends or family as it’s just not worth the money and you don’t get an enjoyable experience. It’s just grand!…
For only the 2nd time in my life I genuinely considered checking out on the first day to get an early flight home. It wasnt so appauling that I couldnt stay, I just felt robbed... cheated out of my hard earned cash by a hotel that is mutton dressed up as lamb. No doubt the hotel management will thank me for my feedback blah blah blah but dont. Instead address the food, limit the TV volumes and train your staff in how to treat customers. And twll them to smile. I've never in my life see so many unmotivated people. They are new to their roles and 'lost'. If you ask what there is to do you are referred to the app. Everything is on an app.( What happenned to customer service? ) And great when you have wifi which is poor in many places. The staff here literally tell you nothing about what the hotel has to offer or whats in the surrounding area. The reviews saying how amazing this place is, I'm sorry but you definitely do not know your stars from your unicorns. To be fair the hotel isnt going to mention the paper thin walls. Dont turn on the TV in your room. Just listen to the one next door, its loud enough. And dont phone home. Just listen in on the call being made in the other room next to yours. You're never far away from the main aircon units so if you live next to a motorway you'll feel right at home. So if youre a light sleeper I wouldnt risk this place regardless of all the other naffness. Little or no privacy on balconies either. On the 2nd floor we were overlooking a whole row on the first. On the first floor gests on the upper floors are looking right at you (Not literally of course). Dont ask for a Greek coffee because they dont know how to make one. Make sure you know how to ask for things to be hot because everything is either warm or cold. The food in the buffet restaraunt is awful. Cold. Dry. Not good. And sadly there are still people who have to lick their fingers before using the serving spoons. But the hotel has at least put disposable gloves at the ends of the buffet. They are blind though to food on the floor and one evening we heard of a lady slipping and falling over due to some food and drink that had been ignored. But at least that got her some attention. The rest of us just signal for hours that we want a drink or something before a member of staff notices and comes over. And dont worry about leaving your plate of rank food on the next table when you go back to find something edible. They wont notice because they are too busy talking to other complaining guests. GIVE THEM A SET AREA! No idea what the chefs real job is but the food is in the main is just grim. And nothing like you have had before. Green Thai curry....thats RED. EVERYTHING IS COLD. They blame the pots they use and dodgy warmers but it comes out of the kitchen cold. The 'posh' restaurants are hilarious. Poor food and service. And the prices...OMG. They think they are the Ritz. And if you do go to the beach, 2 shakes that are blended ice cream and a splash of milk with a club sandwich. 30 EUROS. WTAF!!!!!! Look closely at your needs before you book. You might have a place to sit but ladies that doesnt mean you will have a mirror for getting ready. Honestly. They wear masks not for covid but because its daylight robbery. The different prices people pay to stay is shocking. We paid £900 for two half board thanks to travelzoo. Someone paid double that via TUI. Honestly, I'd never go back and for this much money I've had better stays in probably every country I've been to. Whats good? Staff are very nice but they arent solution finders. The beach. Narrow but long and it has a quiet area so you can make up for the sleep you dont get in the night. What else.... have I mentioned the beach? There were many of us talking who are well travelled and cannot understand how this hotel is anything above 3 stars. Food, terrible. Facilities, mediocre at best. Use an app to see what the hotel can offer. The strangest hotel stay ever and quite honestly I will only remember for all the wrong reasons.…
I had wanted to visit this part of Greece for many years and had booked to visit two years ago but obviously never made it, the hotel were kind enough to give be a voucher to use in the future, so I finally made it but it was worth the wait. I was met at the and transported to the hotel, I arrived to a warm welcome and although it wasn't quite 2pm my room was ready and I was quickly escorted to it. I had booked a bungalow with a pool as when I saw the pictures I couldn't consider any other room, on entering I was very pleased with my choice, plenty of space, nice lounge area and bedroom area with a huge bed and all very nicely decorated but the stand out feature was the outside area and larger than I had expected pool. For the next couple of days I barely left the room and made the most of the facilities and the complimentary welcome wine and snacks. The hotel is very nicely decorated and feels more unique and original compared to chain hotels, the attention to detail everywhere is exceptional and has obviously taken lots of time and investment, the lounges, restaurants, bars and the central courtyard are all well planned, excellently furnished and very comfortable. The outside gardens around the resort and past the pool to the beach are all well tended and a pleasure to be in, there are so many different areas to sit or relax, each with a different view. The pool and beach has plenty of loungers and even in the afternoon there were always some available, the pool bar convenient adjacent to the pool but I preferred the excellent beach bar just a couple of minutes away, a great place to spend the late afternoon watching the sun go down. I found a the choice at breakfast and dinner in the buffet restaurant huge and always more than you could pick from, probably one of the biggest breakfast buffets I have ever seen. The main plus point for me were the staff, always friendly and eager to help, the restaurant service was aways very attentive as it was in the bar and would love to stay here again.…
Couldn’t be more happy with my experience at Eagles Palace, from the moment we arrived every touch was well thought out and personable. After a two hour delay in arriving the staff had arranged for sandwiches for us as we’d missed the dinner service. Everything was impeccably clean and the facilities were well appointed. The views and facilities are top notch, and an app for the hotel provides you access to all activities, bookings and a live chat functionality to contact guest relations for any advice you may need. The real highlight had to be the staff though, every single one was so pleasant and personable in a truly genuine way. I especially must call out to fantastic team at the pool bar (I wasn’t wearing my glasses so don’t have names, but the lady making drinks, the gentleman take orders, the gentleman working between here and the beach bar and the lifeguard) and even more kudos to the Eirini, the guest relations manager. She was truly such a delightful and knowledgeable person and made our stay so incredibly comfortable. Thank you Eirini! I would return to Eagles Palace in a heartbeat!…
We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Eagles Palace. We had a lovely stay even though it was at the beginning of the season most of the facilities were up and running. The food was very good with a wide choice for both breakfast and evening meal. The only downside was that the food was rarely hot, luke warm at best which was a shame. The hotel shuttle bus which we believed to be complimentary was charging 20 Euros to go to the Village of Ouronopolis, 5km away, a taxi cost 12 Euros. The local bus only ran 4x a day at obscure times! There was not really a possibility to walk there as the road had no path and was very dangerous. There was evening entertainment on 2 nights, which the singers were very good, other than that there was nothing to do. I requested a sea view, which we got but this could only be viewed if standing up as if you sat down all you could see was roofs. The Reception Manager refused to help by moving us bearing in mind the hotel was not full and we had paid extra for this. However, they did redeem themselves on our last night which was my friends birthday, she received a cake and bottle of wine which was complementary. The Hotel Manager was very friendly and helpful at all times I hasten to add. I would recommend car hire if you want to get out and about.…
On our first trip to Greece, we met the Eagles, and we were thrilled by the beauty of the hotel and how hospitable the staff was. After waking up very early in the morning and having a long trip, we came in quite tired, but they made us feel so welcome and we came back later that afternoon to fill out the arrival forms and for cocktails on the terrace. On the first day, we tried the hotel buffet food. My husband is intolerant to gluten so the chef prepared his favorite dish, and it was so delicious. Being part of the Dine-Around package, we took advantage of the "Armyra" which was incredible value for money. Great food, and great wine! The next day we ate at Vinum, which had a lot of meat options. The quality and the service were excellent and the setting absolutely beautiful. The highlight was that the hotel management was there to say goodbye. absolutely professionals and make you feel very comfortable in this amazing hotel. We will return!…
