    Fantastic Holiday!
We are a family of 4 ((2 children aged 25 and 18 years) who have just returned from the wonderful Eagles Palace! From the moment we arrived and were picked up from the airport in the hotel shuttle bus until the we left 10 days later, we could not praise this hotel or its staff enough (especially Gorgia on reception)! My son somehow managed to disable his room key almost every day and Gorgia ever smiling always sorted it out for him! Theana at the Melathron restaurant is also amazing and a great credit to this hotel. Our rooms were spotlessly cleaned by happy, friendly cleaners and the whole experience at Eagles was amazing. The health spa, beach and pool are second to none and again the staff throughout the whole resort were first class and what makes this place so special! Thank you Eagles Palace for a much needed wonderful family holiday and we hope to be back again sooon!!! Regards The George Family
Dear GEORGESABROAD23, Thank you for taking the time to review our Resort. We are delighted that you have enjoyed your accommodation, as well as our service standards, and our facilities. Our goal is to make you feel so warm as if you never left the comfort of home, so it's always nice to hear that it is achieved and that Eagles Resort lived up to your expectations. The housekeeping ladies and all our staff will receive your kindest remarks, as that's the greatest reward after all. Once more thank you very much for your review and it would be a pleasure to have you as our guests again in the future. Eagles Resort Team

A rare return visit to a resort
We don’t normally revisit anywhere but Eagles Palace is well worth the exception. We arrived into Thessaloniki Airport (2 hours late - thank you, Ryanair!), worried our transfer would have given up and left but there was George from the hotel with a big smile and a very welcome bottle of water and refreshing lemon wipes. We were transferred in a comfortable air conditioned minibus. Once we arrived we were greeted by the very friendly and welcoming staff with a welcome drink and platter of food in our lovely, spotless and comfortable room (because we had missed dinner). We were really impressed and happy (albeit exhausted!). I have to say that there was nothing we didn’t like. There are two restaurants in the hotel, we were half board and ate in the main restaurant mostly, food was plentiful, fabulous range of dishes and a lovely atmosphere. There is a pool bar and a further snack bar on the beach, although there is limited choice in these two places and they are slightly expensive. There is also a restaurant on the beach which is really lovely with a gorgeous view of the sea. There is a private beach which is beautiful, especially the quiet part which is where we went. The sun beds are free and there are plenty of beach towels. There are clean toilets along the beach and refreshment stations which were continuously replenished with cold fruit water and fresh fruit, very welcome on a hot day. Water sports centre at the end of the beach with various activities. We had a go at paddle boarding, which was fun. You can also go up from the hotel to the Eagles Villas (you can walk but they do transfer people up there in golf buggies) where there another restaurant and an amazing cabin bar, so peaceful with a fantastic view (and fabulous cocktails). Each day there are 4 transfers to nearby Ouranapolis, a little town with lovely bars and restaurants. We had lunch on the harbour which was delicious and great value for money. Overall the hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean, every member of staff was really friendly and helpful, from the managers to the cleaners, I felt that they were all really genuine and cared that we were happy with everything. The little touches like a little chocolates and fresh bottles of water in the room each day, really meant a lot. There were also free taster activities you could try, Pilates, jam making, paddle boarding etc, which is a brilliant idea. I think that is everything like I said, we rarely go back to a resort but we have booked again for June (apologies in advance to the hotel staff, we have booked the late Ryanair flight again!).
Dear 260JulieM, We would like to thank you for your taking the time to write and to share such an excellent and extensive review! Thank you also for your preference to our resort, it is a great honor to read that you would come back! We are so happy that you enjoyed our facilities and services provided to the fullest! It is always very rewarding to receive so kind and warm comments for our attentive and caring staff. We remain ta your disposal and we hope to get the opportunity to welcome you back very soon! Kind regards, The Eagles Resort Team

Great place for family with kids! Plenty of other kids as well plus kids club so some personal time for mommy and daddy guaranteed! Food tasty, resataurant's Chef very friendly, service personnel and waiters very kind and helpfull. Hotel room nicely and neatly cleaned and arranged hence pleasure to return to after a day in the beach. All restaurant tables have disinfectants, and tables desinfected before being sited! TV not an issue for our family since we can follow BG news through Internet medias while small daughters mainly watch music channels! Another reason why we have been coming to Eagles Palace for many years is because the property is very well situated in the surrounding wild nature and beautifull green landshaft.
Dear 498yd, Thank you for your review and time taken to provide your feedback on your visit and stay at our property. Is is always great to receive such positive comments and thank you also for mentioning some of the disinfection procedures followed this year. We are glad to read that you enjoyed once more your accommodation as also our the Resort's location. We remain always at your disposal and we hope to see you again soon! Kind regards, The Eagles Resort Team

The hotel is set in a stunning position with a nice sandy beach (with pebbles as you enter the water). The gardens are small but with lush and mature trees and the beach front is gorgeous. Drenia a small uninhabited island near the hotel is idyllic and the hotel offers a days excursion there. Highly recommended. We have traveled to Halkidiki and several of the Greek Islands and love Greece and the hospitality we generally receive in other hotels. Unlike other places, at Eagles Palace the staff don't smile, rarely greet you and never remember who you are. Breakfast was good. But the dinner at the buffet is the worst we have ever experienced. Never hot. With a Greek offering only on Greek night !! (other nights Italian, Asian, no Greek food even on International night). The drinks bill was wrong 3 times out of 5 and on the first night the drinks waiter asked us our room number on 4 separate occasions! Of course he never smiled, he never engaged in conversation and barely acknowledged us. At breakfast service was poor. Example: Tea in a pot - with no lid. So the water was cold and spilled out of the top. The omelette station staff never smiled barely spoke and generally brought the mood down. Regarding the picnic offered on the day trip to Drenia... Very disappointing. 2 small baguettes in a paper bag prepared by someone who didn't care a hoot. The filling was dolloped in the middle not even spread to the sides. No serviette no dessert ... only a banana. Cocktails at the beach bar: E15 will get you a pinacolada in a whisky glass.. All crushed ice. Tried once & never returned to the bar. Had it been tasty we would have been ok with the pricy E15 The climb in shower over the bath was very small and uncomfortable with the taps bashing into your legs at every turn. I am informed all the rooms in the main building are the same. Also the rooms are too dark. Have no dressing table and on the basis the bathroom is tiny and very difficult to share if you are trying to dry your hair. The sound insulation is poor and we could hear the TV from the neighbouring room. The bed/mattress was very comfortable. You could argue that these complaints are minor but the description of the hotel is misleading and the price is comparable to other Greek 5 star hotels where you will eat better and be better served. To the hotel management I would say - you need to be more visible & you need to up your game if you want to compete. You lost out as we barely spent any money at the hotel preferring to go to nearby Ouranopouli.

We have just returned from a week's stay in Eagles Palace. I can honestly say that in many years of travel and staying in 4 or 5 star hotels, this hotel went "the extra mile" to meet our needs. The staff in the melathron restaurant were exceptionally helpful in helping me meet my medical dietary needs. I did not want to appear "entitled or demanding" but every mealtime the staff were concerned that everything was all right for me and making helpful and kind suggestions. The buffet was varied and appetising with a good selection of different foods. The concierge and reception staff were very helpful. Even when we chose to slowly walk up the hill towards the villas and tennis courts, the electric transport buggy always stopped and asked us if we would like a lift. The view from the top was beautiful. We had a superior sea view room and the only criticism I would make would be that there was only 1 chair in the room not 2. The maids were excellent. The room was kept spotlessly clean and water topped up. Every single member of staff seemed exceptionally eager to meet our needs and we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for it's outstanding and dedicated customer care. Thank you to you all

Exclusive and the only one of its kind… The Eagles Palace concept is unlike anything I’ve experienced. “exclusive luxury and detail” means dining on dishes crafted by award winning chefs, this resort is a family-owned, 5-star beach resort in Halkidiki, Greece, next to the monastic state of Mt. Athos. Taking a closer look at the dining experience at Eagles Palace, the property had four restaurants, featuring some of the best restaurants in Halkidiki, where guests can enjoy exquisite delicacies, ranging from a gourmet menu to grilled seafood by the sea. The entire property was extremely accommodating to dietary requirements, including gluten free & vegan at every restaurant (all meals served are freshly prepared). With a breakfast and dinner buffet on offer, ideal for families, every night is based around a different theme, and delicacies from all over the world. Not only does each restaurant feature a “kids menu” but they will accommodate to suit the needs of your little ones. Fresh water pool and private beach with beach service, and in-room room dining are also part of the exquisite experience. We spent every single day on the Sandy private beach awarded with the European Blue Flag, clear calm seas and ideal for our little boy. This was a TOP resort for our babymoon! Many boarding options available and family rooms/suites all different to suit you and your family. Each restaurant is also equipped with high quality high chairs—no detail was overlooked! This year is there 50th Anniversary and they are an award winning utopia. On their secluded private beach, they have a water facility hut, you can hire boats, jet skis or learn a new sport as a family at the fully equipped Water sports & scuba diving centre. So whether you are craving a glass of wine and local caught fish on the grill with a sea view at the taverna on the beach and it offers traditional Greek tapas, and in the evening, it transforms into a seafood restaurant or an iced latte and breakfast with a view that will take your breath away Eagles Palace has it all. We absolutely cannot wait to return, it will be our third time next time as a family of 4.

Mr Philippos and his team makes the difference. Great service from the smiley staff. The infrastructure needs refurbishment as many areas are old-fashioned. The beach is the highlight and the excursion to the Drenia island unique. A must during the stay.

Beautiful nature as a base for a lovely and well thought about resort, that is eagles palace. A classical Hotel ambiance with different room categories and separate from the main building you have luxurious and quiet private villas, spacy and stylish. Food is available in various restaurants and styles in the resort. Booking is necessary for availability. This takes some time to get done, even with very willing to help receptionists like Christina and her team. Should be done for the whole vacation time on the first day. The food spots on the beach provide especially great food. Hospitality is written on every thought of the people who work in the hotel. They are amazing and very well trained. Always friendly and trying to fulfill wishes and needs of the guests. All is about people. At the beach you have different options for watersports. A very professional diving team around Nikki at the Scuba Diving Center gets you under water. On the water you may be lucky and meet Dinos at the Water Sports Center of Nea Roda, located directly next to the hotel beach. Our four children could not stop to try different things and were taken very serious in their ideas and ambitions. Dinos, a very experienced teacher for water sports, brought sailing to my heart in the shortest possible time. Relaxing and sportive beach vacation, the joy of beautiful nature and clear, clean and blue sea is what you can expect and enjoy at eagles palace. Tip: My favorite villas are the ones in the first row. The view is stunning.

Тo date this hotel cannot be categorized with more than 3 stars! Good common areas-lobbies and outside terrace, but the rooms are mediocre with terribly thin walls, through which you not only hear every movement and sound from the next room, but thanks to the gap under the door in the conecting rooms, you can also see every light switch on. Overall extremely noisy hotel! The housekeeping starts working at 7:30-8:00 and it is impossible to sleep. The SPA area is small and the hygiene is lower than expected. The so called indoor pool is in fact an outdoor pool with ice cold water. The food and the drinks are very overpriced but at the same time of mediocre quality. Тhere is no entertainment for children, except for a kids club, which, however, has an extremely interesting working time - from 9 to 18 h. when the kids are normally outside. The wifi is also very poor. Regarding customer service - an absolute disappointment. A personal recommendation to the managment: Update your level of service to correspond with the modern 5 star resort which you claim to be in order not to disappoint your guests and make them leave untimely. There are enough places even in Greece to take an example from.

We visited Eagles Palace with two young children - a baby and a toddler - and were extremely happy with our stay. Philippos runs a terrific hotel and the staff were outstanding in every respect. The F&B was of a very high quality and Asterios and his team would greet us and help out with any special requests at breakfast. Aggeliki runs a first rate baby/kids club and we should make special mention of Maria who was absolutely wonderful looking after our 5 month year old. Nothing was too much trouble for the front desk team and they helped out with special requests (Yannis) as well as for regular shuttles (€15 per family/trip) to Ouranopolis. The drivers were friendly, safe and reliable and would provide special baby/child seats for our young ones. Ouranopolis is only a 10 minute drive from the hotel and for guests who wish to visit local tavernas - it was very convenient. Some of the activities were also interesting - especially the honey tasting. The rooms were well cleaned but some noise would travel between rooms. The pools were great and very child friendly. Thank you to all for a fabulous stay!

We had a marvellous stay, the place is very nice, the pool, the beach and the restaurants - recommend in particular to do the tour of all the restaurants around. What stands out most vs other places here is the level of friendliness of the staff that is without exception truly exceptional. My only regret, having booked through an agency website as the hotel offers good deals in case of direct bookings - then again reservations could have been a bit more proactive in returning my calls as my only point of criticism. Recommend!

The entire concept looks like a perfect luxurious quiet nature escape, beautiful bars and restaurants with various menus, modern interior design, pilates in the morning and jazz in the evening. But, hotel is overwhelmed and dominated by families with babies and small children under 5y. There were some couples, and families with teenagers but small kids are majority. Which makes this hotel very noisy place, unfortunately. So as I said, it looks like hotel was built (as per ultra modern gorgeous design) for one population of guests but ended up with totally different population. - There is a peace of beach called Quiet Zone, sweet small escape. - Our ventilation system in the room was producing a stink in the late afternoon. Whole hotel had the same smell at that specific time. - Walls are so thin you can hear everything- people talk and TV from room next door, toilet sounds and flashes from room upstairs. - Beach is beautiful and clean - Whole hotel staff is very kind and professional - food is really great with variety of choices - Cute kitty on balcony during meals - if you want to have late breaksfast, you might find yourself waiting in lobby 20-30min to wait to have a seat - I suggesst hotel to preorient completely to family hotel and add some facilities for kids like water slides, small pools, more playgrounds, animators, music for kids, toys, shows.
