The Miraggio is an oasis. It’s stunningly beautiful but be aware….it’s pretty remote. There isn’t a huge amount todo in the vicinity but then you’re probably here to just relax. The staff are exceptional. From the ladies who cleaned our room each morning, to the welcoming receptionist when we arrived. There is a “club” experience. Better food, better beach beds but you get what you pay for. We went “cheaper” - nothing is cheap here but we feel we got fantastic value at just over €200 per night half board. Food was good. Not great. Not bad. Good. Lots of choice, changed nightly. Mostly. Breakfast was very nice. Desserts in the evening were extensive. We were there in Sept and talking with the staff they say it gets incredibly busy in July/Aug. manic was the word used. Personally I’d avoid those dates. The big issue for me was the price of the ala-carte restaurants. Really expensive. Chances are you won’t visit if you’re on half board even with the €15pp they out towards the fancier restaurants. The price of drinks in general and wine in particular is ridiculous. There seems to be one choice of red wine by the glass. Just one. Greece produces many red wines so only having one by the glass, the 150ml glass - at €11 a glass. Bonkers. We had wines in Thessaloniki at €5 for half a bottle and even in fancy restaurants in Thessaloniki, beautiful restaurants, we didn’t pay more than €7 a glass with lots of choice. So personally - when you’re driving down to the resort I’d stock up in a good wine shop or even Lidl which is about half an hour away and enjoy your wine on your beautiful terrace. Happy days. …

Hotel was very clean, staff were all very friendly and attentive. Drinks were a little overpriced. The hotel is situated a way from the main towns on Kassandra, therefore if you want to explore a little more you should consider a car hire (we did - easy from the hotel they have a couple of cars available). However if all you want is a relaxing time then the resort is great the swimming pools, beach and Spa are wonderful. Overall a good trip!

After 2 days at Miraggio, I got to say I'm disappointed. This place makes you feel like you are nothing more than walking dollar bills, and it's highly (and I mean HIGHLY) overpriced. Everything here is at extra cost, and I mean everything. You get nothing complimentary except 1 water bottle a day. It is important to say that the hotel is a 15-minute drive from the nearest town. Get this: (I'm not kidding) My 2 years old son fell and scratched his hand and when I asked the lady at the reception for bandage she told me to go BUY bandage at the pharmacy store. Looks like they don't have a first aid kit or basic ampathy even for a 2 years old child. A bottle of water at dinner costs 4 euros. You can sit in the basic tanning beds, but for the slightly more comfortable ones, you will need to order things at at least 100 euros. My room's floor was filthy with ants all over the room. The air-conditioning in the room is awful - the room is either too cold or too hot, and every time the window is open, it turns off, and you need to turn it on manually Food is okay (which is not what you'd expect at this price). Desserts are really good. The main pool is with salt water, which is not optimal for kids. The sum things up: It's not worth your money. Believe me.…

We stayed from 04.09. in room 1207. It was raining for 4 days, so we were wet when we left the room, and water was entering the room under the door. We couldn't bring the child into the SPA center, which is unacceptable. The food in the restaurant is for a 3 or 4-star hotel, also in the restaurant we felt like we were in a canteen because the staff is non-stop knocking, buying accessories, etc...

Here we did it again… we landed at Miraggio for umpteenth time now 😅 not because it’s our favorite hotel, but because it’s suitable for families with small kids. I tried to avoid if I should be honest but really couldn’t find anything available at the last minute. We were really mesmerized by the brand new rates for 2023! Huge increase compared to last year but at the expense of noticeably reduced food variety and quality. Bearing in mind that supplement for a dinner buffet is 100€ for two adults without any drinks. For breakfast there is no scrambled eggs?! (If you don’t count the yellow thing with leftover tomatoes in a pan you can’t even find) if you decide to go for an omelette- yes! Great idea only that 20 people thought of it before you… no fresh juice, even a glass per person. Sad things. Otherwise plenty of food but going around with an empty plate you can’t really choose anything you like. Other things worth mentioning are the fact that they decided to significantly decrease the list with wines/Prosecco at the beach bar and can’t remember last year but last week I paid 6€ for a double espresso. Otherwise nice staff and rooms. We book always pool front which are very comfortable. The beach are is sand with stones. Other important notice - we stayed at the hotel during big fires in Northeast Greece and the air was polluted, there was no timely and adequate information although we could all smell it. In my opinion this was a deliberate policy to avoid cancellations, but considering that 90% of the guests were with small kids this is unacceptable. …

Regarding the carbon monoxide in the air , we would like to point the fact that a pop up message appeared in all the TV screens in the rooms informing our guests not to be outside during the times that the levels where high and the times that the levels were lower. The same message came as an email to all the inhouse guests who provided us with a correct email address and also appeared as a pop up message to our application .
