The Hotel in General Built in an ideal location right next to the sea with its crystal clear waters, and with a view of Mount Olympos, Istion Club and Spa offers luxury and relaxation. The wonderful swimming pools, luxurious spa, state-of-the-art gym, hairdresser's, beauty institute, elegant restaurant, main bar, pool bar and beach bar, conference room, are a whole world just waiting to be discovered where you can spend, unforgettable, wonderful moments. Location In a distance of 2km is N. Potidea, where you can also find shops, bars and restaurants. 4Km from the hotel is N. Moudania where every Wednesday you can also visit a big local market. For your convenience, every morning, From Monday to Friday, you can reserve a seat on our shuttle bus, which takes you free of charge to N.Potidea or N. Moudania, according to schedule. Our hotel is ideal for relaxation, day activities and exploring Chalkidiki. Any transportation requires the use of car, taxi or bus. Istion is a beach front hotel with a mixture of sand and pebbles (narrow beach). Feet sensitive, you will need shoes to enter the sea, unless you use one of the paths made to facilitate our guests. After approximately 30m it's all sandy. The sea gradually deepens, and for a while shallows again. A la carte service, part of our main restaurant (which once per week is free / reservation requested), and classical international cuisine (Τhalatta restaurant) - buffet style. Then there is the Main Bar, Eros open daily till 02:00, the Pool Bar , La Barchetta, open daily till 00:00, and our beach bar "to Kima", open daily till 01:00, for your enjoyment and all your entertainment needs at Istion Club. Breakfast: from 7:30 - 10:30am. Lunch: from 12: 30 - 14:30 and dinner from 19:00 - 21:00. From 10:00am - 00:00am there are always snacks available at the pool bar. Our ultra all inclusive catalogue has an extensive variety of Greek and International drinks & many cocktails. From our buffet you will find Greek and International dishes, suitable to all tastes. Either indoors or outdoors we assure you that you will enjoy every moment. Entertainment, pools & sports At Istion Club the swimming pools are a truly exhilarating and unique experience. They offer relaxation with a view of the Thermaikos gulf and the peaks of Mount Olympos. There is also a special aqua gym program, not to mention the swimming pool for children and a separate Jacuzzi swimming pool. At ΙSTION CLUB keeping fit and several sport activities is a way of life. There is a weekly animation program 6 days per week, as well as a whole host of activities including: tennis, aerobics, gym, Jacuzzi, hammam, sauna, table tennis, billiards, boccia, darts, water sports, surfing, diving (some with a fee). At our Spa center there are many body treatments, massage, hair dresser and gym. Once per week you will enjoy our Greek night with the well known team of George Likesas. Tuesday you can enjoy romantic moments at the main bar or our Beach Bar (according to weather conditions), with excellent music repertoire. (English, Russian and Greek music).

We stayed (me and my wife) for a weekend (2 nights) just before the finish of the turistic season for this hotel and the begin of the longest lockdown ever (from 1 . November until end May) We had had a very beautiful room, well designed and with balcony with view to sea and a great terrace with view to the complex. The breakfast was excellent. We have tried one of the 3 (at least) bars for a drink but we didn't have a lunch or dinner in the hotel. For swimming in the pool towels are given to every client before the entry and after their use they have to be returned. All the stuff was gentle and well trained with the new protocols against COVID-19 dispersion. Hopefully next season the hotel will still offer these high quality services we have tried.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel , we were treated by a such profession and friendly teams .
The booking in process was smooth( they even upgraded our room), with all the information to hand on meals times, activities, facilities and details. Along with COVID precautions put in place, which make you feel safe throughout.
The meals were very very nice and tasty throughout our stay with plenty of choice to be had. We have stayed in many 5* resorts around the world and eaten in fine dining restaurants, which I can honestly say that the food at the hotel matched these on taste and flavour.
The facilities at the hotel were second to none , with the pool areas clean and tidy, and sun beds allocated on arrival for the length of your stay,as part of COVID measures.
However the icing on the cake must be the entertainment day and night that was put on by Pocket Rocket Shermin, Super Mario, and Cool Kevin. These guys not only made you feel welcomed from the very start, but also injected a level of fun into everything they did, from the darts , rifle shooter and table tennis and my favourite Beer Pong 🍻. Shermin did the Zumba,Gym and Yoga lessons to perfection 💃🏻. The night entertainment ranged from quizzes , bingo, karaoke,disco dances nights and finalising with a very well executed Cabaret put on by the team.
The 3 together work in such harmony that they made the holiday for me and a pleasure to have known and a credit to not only the hotel but also the Pink Wave Group.

Perfect location - everyday we walked along the beach - we could swim in the clear, warm sea. Very relaxing. Delicious food and excellent service from very friendly staff. We rented a car from the hotel and drove the Kassandra Peninsula - beautiful area. Recommend visiting Possidi Beach and walking the spit / sand bar to where the sea meets!

This is our last day in Istion in general hotel is ok no major downside but there are some points we did not like it. Let me first mention on the positives: Hotel employees: we have really good experience with them, they are very kind helpful and respectful.
Beach: It is not maybe nicest beach but it is clean, it is not crowded but you have to go early to grab a sunbed.
Overall cleanness: it is satisfactory.
Also there was a nice suprise on my wifes birthday they put a cake for us. A nice gesture from the hotel.
Negatives (lets say according to our view we do not like )
Rooms : first day we were given a ground floor room which has not enough light and no wifi at all luckly hotel management change our room next day but then we have ac problem couple of days then they fix it and wifi was again troublesome in some hours , I believe it is related with usage but you should not have such things in 5 star hotel.
Location: Hotel is isolated you have no public transportatition to near villages you should take taxi all the time. This is ok for some people stay all the time in hotel but we really enjoy to go sometimes local restaurant and near hotel there is nothing like this.
Food: Mediocre, I saw earlier comments from Hotel manager but I have different opinion after couple of days all food seemed to me redundant, still you will find some thing to eat but do not expect much.
All in all according to my view hotel is ok but I would give 3 or 4 stars as a ranking. Frankly as our first holiday in Greece we have expected a bit more.

Especially for our future guests, I would like to emphasise how important it is to inform us directly about any displeasure or defect, especially regarding the room. Only in this way can we take immediate action to ensure that our guests continue to enjoy their holiday to the fullest. Regarding the location of our hotel, I would like to describe that our complex is situated between two villages. Our hotel is ideal for relaxing, but through our free shuttle bus service, we also give our guests the opportunity to explore the neighbouring villages and of course the village of Afitos, which is considered the most beautiful in all of Chalkidiki. Likewise, our hotel also cooperates with a taxi service that can take our guests at affordable prices in the evenings to Nea Moudania, for example, where you could experience the nightlife of a small Greek town. Moving on to our cuisine, I always try to get feedback from our guests on the spot. Because our chef wants to combine his innovations, with the tried and tested, which distinguishes the Istion Club, and new ideas, from the feedback of our guests, to come up with the best possible result. Our stay at the Istion Club was a last minute booking and we didn’t have high expectations. We choose the destination because we particularly wanted to visit the historic city of Thessaloniki We arrived late at night and were allocated a suite consisting of, bedroom, sitting room,bathroom and a balcony. Very spacious and spotlessly clean. Despite it being towards the end of the season the staff were unfailingly courteous, helpful and accommodating. The staff at the reception were especially responsive.The rooms were kept immaculately clean and the gardens and landscaping were a pleasure to see. The buffet breakfast was more than sufficient but the evening meal buffet was not inspiring and seemed to be rather disjointed. Having said that, there was always plenty and excellent choices for vegetarians . We wish to particularly mention Evangelia the Reservations Manager who ironed out the initial problems that we had had due to our very late arrival at the resort.

At our hot buffet, we place our dishes in such a way that our guests can quickly choose a suitable side dish to go with their hot meal. We also have a salad bar with a very large selection of salads in all variations. Regarding our buffet, it should be mentioned that it is based on traditional Greek dishes. Nevertheless, we organise a daily theme evening with international dishes to offer our guests an even more varied buffet. In addition, two dishes are grilled in front of our guests at our live cooking station and two pasta dishes are prepared live by our cooks right next to it. Last but not least, I would like to assure you that it is always a pleasure for us to resolve any difficulties our guests may have in order to offer them a carefree holiday. I stayed at the hotel for two weeks in July with my friends and family. The vacation was perfect. The staff of the hotel was very professional and is the core of this hotel. The system with reserving your own sunbeds for the whole stay is a very good idea. I wish it would be in every hotel. The ,,beach and towel” man was very kind and helpful. Worth mentioning is the animation team who entertained us the whole stay. Special thanks to Markéta and Pavla for their very high commitment and professionalism, but we can’t forget about the,,big” boss Paco who made it all work. The waiters at the restaurant were very polite and always knew what we would like to drink. As we speak about drinks they were amazing at the bars, thanks to Maya and her colleagues. The manager of the restaurant provided high quality of service as well as the cooks and their food. Hope to see you next year!

Couldn't fault anything about this hotel. Even during the current pandemic pretty much everything was open and all the staff were amazing and friendly. The pool guy was so helpful and having your own sunbeds allocated on day one was a great idea - hopefully one that will continue in future.

My wife and I went to the resort for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful experience at the Istion Resort & Spa. Every staff member we encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the food was great. The effort that the animation team did to keep us active and happy was unforgettable. Therefore a big thank you to Paco, Marketa and Pavla for the amazing games and evening activities. For the best best COCKTAILS Anna is the bartender you should look for 👍🏾.

We rested in Istion Club and Spa for 2 weeks and we are highly impressed by the pleasant and cosy atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and the food was absolutely delicious. We were happy to see that every room has its own place at the pool that doesn't change during the whole stay. All the staff members were very friendly, special thanks to Evangelia, Djurica, Maya, Kostas etc. The animation team helped in bringing all the guests together. Thanks to Paco, Pavla and Marketa for their daily activities and dances. We recommend this hotel to everyone visiting the Thessaloniki region.

Istion is a great holiday destination for couples & families who want to have a relaxing time by the beach. Me and my husband visited for 6 days this September. Weather was amazing. Very pleasant, hardworking staff. Food was great...very tasty pastries and puddings this year :) special thank you to Sakis and Maya who are serving a million drinks/day with big smiles on their faces. Thanks to the management team who make it happen this summer for the customers despite constant COVID threats. It was lovely to see you all - will definitely come again next year.

That’s the main reason I’d not go back there! Outside the hotel is a very busy motorway. There are buses that stop but not very well signposted and drivers were not very helpful or understood us.
I loved the hotel but it felt very isolated even with the car we hired. (Hiring a car was easy and reasonable through the hotel to be fair).
I prefer areas where I can stroll out and feel like I’m in Greece but it didn’t feel like this more industrial.

Sometimes but only for important games. Tried to put football on a big screen but technical issues meant this couldn’t be done. So only the small tv in the beach bar had it on.
