Feel priviledged that a) my family were able to travel to Greece.......very safe Greece at that during this pandemic and b) that they were so well looked after. A bit of perspective and realism needs to be applied when you consider other peoples moans and poor reviews. It's a 3 star hotel so there is not an abundance or resources to magic up several restaurants and wide selection of international cuisine. You travel to an intimate resort expecting limitations on selection but also with the open mindedness of getting a cultural expereince with the chace to try some local dishes and broaden your horizons while soaking up the atmosphere of where you are. This hotel did not disappoint. It's sits within a beautiful setting with anamazing beach and plenty to do close by. Within the hotel there is a real family feel and the staff bend over backwards to welcome you and make sure everything is done to make your holiday special. The Chefs will also help to make something different than is on the menu if you are more of a fussy eater. They take pleasure in the enjoyment of their customers and that is a real quality in todays world. If you want 10 restaurants, opulence and a hefty price tag within a very commercially led environment then pay your tens of thousands and get yourself off to Dubai with your family. Be realsitic about what you are paying for. Also on a final note, the Greeks are known for their hospitality, sense of history and are culturally rich, so when you combine this along with the fact it's one of the safest places to visit in the world at the monet you might want to consider travelling here because lord knows their economy needs it. Thanks again to all the staff and Chrysa for her guidance.…
Holiday we didn’t think would happen! Not sure what to expect but what a fantastic holiday. Beautiful setting, lovely hotel, but most importantly the staff were out of this world. Couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean with a lovely room (203) and had the most amazing shower. We had booked half board but on arrival upgraded to all inclusive at a very reasonable rate. Food is all served buffet style but served by the chefs behind Perspex screens but this doesn’t stop you returning for more. Good selection of food including lovely fresh Greek salads and Greek speciality’s.! Good selection at bar including toasted sandwiches and ice creams. Beach is a 10 minute walk and great. Crystal clear water. Just be aware there are a lot of steps so you need to be walking fit. Local town 5€ by taxi with selection of shops and tavernas. We hired a car for 5 days which was worth doing to see all of the peninsula. Everywhere was very quiet but that was to be expected. Hotel shuttle bus and entertainment were not available due to covid restrictions but there is a table tennis table, pool table and tennis court. Gardens are beautiful and well kept. We really had a fantastic holiday. Great place to visit but as I say the staff were wonderful and really made our holiday. So to everyone at the Palladium EFCHARISTO and KALIMEA!! XX…
Got there and reception staff made us feel so welcome then went for lunch the staff in the restaurant where not so welcoming in the whole place we found 4 staff to be nice and 2 of those where reception staff and one was bar staff he was great and very friendly ..food got better as time went on but not a lot of choice and could get boring after a few days we went into town to eat out a few days the pool was lovely kids loved it but there was no kids club no entertainment on the hotel is no where near the beach if on foot with 2 little ones an a pushchair was a nightmare even going to the supermarket was a treck the stairs down are a death trap .the place it’s self is a stunning place but to get to any shops and bars it’s €8 each way in a taxi our room could have defo done with an update the bathrooms are not great for a family at all our cleaner was great and did a good job we did have a good time and made it the best for kids but would not go back to this hotel also kids up early so where having breakfast at 7am then you could not get a drink till pool bar opened at 11am…
This was once a beautiful hotel But it is now a dump. It's hasn't been refurbished in years. The bathrooms are like old people's homes and mould y. The beds wreaking of stale smoke. The staff are friendly and keen and pool clean but be warned this hotel needs a complete overhaul. It's very steep uphill. It should be a one star hotel. I feel for the staff who work hard but it's fallen apart.
