Everything about this place was just perfect! From the moment we arrived we felt at home, and the kids (6, 9 yrs) loved it as well. For the very budget-friendly price you get 5 star service, beautiful rooms and common areas with a lot of atmosphere, a great breakfast with a local touch, served by the sweetest ladies and they even gave us and the kids small gifts every other day (incl. a 30 minute massage). We visited Greece a bit off season, so things were very quiet, but still Afythos had some open bars and restaurants, and we got the beautiful beaches almost to ourselves. We can also recommend a trip to Thessaloniki. Really cool town, with a lot of young people, and hip shops. We will probably not come back to Achtis, as we usually travel to new destinations when we go on a holiday, but we would truly recommend going there to others!

After the inability to travel due to Covid the only place we could ever choose to go to was here. It was like being welcomed back to long lost family. I know that sounds cheesy but it is absolutely true. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms comfortable and beautifully decorated, the pool, gardens and restaurant are an oasis, and the food and drink exemplary. All measures to meet with current covid guidelines work well too. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. A small team of extremely hardworking, friendly and efficient people who cannot do enough for you to make you feel welcome and to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. You cannot fake that, I really cannot praise them all highly enough. Thank you again you wonderful lot, hope to see you next year!.

What an amazing hotel! Everything from the arrival was just superb! We have booked it as a bnb but it was so more than that. Prosecco and cake ont the arrival. Afternoon snack around the pool. Little touches that makes it perfect. Staff is so nice and friendly. We loved everyone and we stay I'm touch. Breakfast was delicious. You an choose from enabling breakfast to more continental breakfast but everyday there is also something different to try plus the cakes! Prosecco for breakfast why not? Delicious coffee to keep you going, fresh orange juice and you won't be disappointed with the beans 😬 We had lunch almost every day at the hotel whilst relaxing and reading book from the little library at the hotel. Recimend Club sandwich, tasty and enough for 2 people. Can I just mention that the lobby smells amazing! We had an apartment and it was massive. Bottle of wine on the balcony with the sea view and bowl of fruits was my favourite time. We had several dinners also at the hotel as you couldn't fault the food. Steak, chicken soulvaki, moussaka (the best), praws pasta and many others... Cocktails were generous and tasty. Seriously I can't find one fault of the hotel. And the Afitos town looks like a postcard! If you're looking for 5* experience in charming hotel, with stunning decor, great food and family like vibe, then you found it.

This hotel is just perfect in every way, hence we’ve been here 4 times (3 trips as a couple and our most recent trip with our baby who was 5 months old at the time of the holiday). The hotel is as fantastic as it looks on the website and of course even better in reality. Why are we repeat guests? The hotel management and all staff are fantastic and you feel like you’re visiting old friends (even on your first visit!). The hotel grounds are beautiful ( gorgeous pool/pool area and lovely gardens). The buffet breakfast is outstanding (credit to the whole team for managing this under covid restrictions this year, they did an amazing job at serving the buffet to guests which causes them much more work). The evening meals are super, as are lunches and well all the food really! Cocktails are fantastic. I love the spa treatments, lots of choice and the therapy room in the garden is just lovely. The hotel is well located for a stroll to all the restaurants in the village and there are some great ones. We love the Achtis and we will keep returning to this this very special place in gorgeous Greece. Thank you team Achtis for yet another wonderful stay and for making our first holiday as a family full of memories to last a lifetime.

This is our second visit to the fantastic Achtis. We are all vegetarian and the food here is great. The village of Afytos is only 5 minutes walk, all rooms have a view over the lovely pool and the staff just make everything so easy and enjoyable.
