The room is absolutely beautiful, feels like a whole apartment with a living room and balcony included. The distance between the other rooms is perfect. The breakfast has a lot of choice however it might be a little hard to find a seat outside. The room gets cleaned daily and the staff are super helpful. It would be nice if the pool and jacuzzi had hot water (for those night time swims) other than that everything was perfect. The location of the hotel is great as you are just a short walk from Afytos Town, but just far enough away that you get a real sense of peace. All in all this hotel is excellent for a peaceful retreat with excellent privacy in the rooms and amazing, colourful grounds. My partner and I loved it so much we’re going again next year!

Hotel's Favorite
This is going to be long, there is so much to say! I'll split it into headings for ease! Arrival - as soon as the transfer coach stopped outside Petrino Suites, we were taken. It had a very peaceful & welcome feel to it & felt very well maintained. Greeting - the reception from the team was absolutely perfect. They welcomed us into their family business with joy & couldn't do enough. Location - it's a 20 minute flat walk to Afitos which is a beautiful village with stunning views, an abundance of eateries/taverns to suit most tastes. Useful to have a torch as the road to/from doesn't have many lights on at night. A taxi from or to Afitos is 5 euros each way. Suites - we had a maisonette with our own plunge pool, which was perfect, private, away from eyes & it was perfectly maintained. Gardens - the surrounding gardens of Petrinos are beautiful, lush, fragrant, colourful & utterly gorgeous. Lots of butterflies! As this is lush area of Greece, there are mosquitoes and bitey things, bring some good repellant & after bite & you will be fine. Service - we can't say anything other than outstanding.....from all in the team Housekeeping - plunge pool & maisonette cleaned daily, fresh towels & bedding Bar & communal pool & jacuzzi - lovely size pool, very clean & well maintained, sunbeds/loungers respectfully placed, & plenty of seating areas to enjoy food & drink on offer. Cracking margarita cocktails Restaurant - excellent traditional Greek food, locally sourced and good vegetarian options. The breakfast buffet was gorgeous with ample choice, home cooked and delicious Who it suits & who it doesn't - families, couples wanting relaxed & chilled holiday, has a small friendly vibe. Certainly doesn't suit large groups or hen/stag do's! Advice - car hire & research the area prior to visit, it is so worth exploring the peninsula. Plenty of hidden gems of little villages and coves to stop off at, take a dip, eat some lovely food & relax. Worthwhile hiring a boat for the day to explore. Take some aqua shoes as the walk into the swim depth can have a few rocks, but certainly worth the effort. The nearest supermarket to walk to is in Afitos, but if you have a car there are some larger ones with more options not too far down the road in Kalithea Team Mentions - well, attaching a few pictures of our holiday heroes with individual mentions, thanks Team Petrino Suites xx…

Beautiful hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Fabulous breakfast with a big choice taken sitting on a veranda overlooking the gardens. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the town but that suited us as it was quiet and peaceful.

Very relaxed in pre-season. Nice pool with enough beds. Service around the pool even if there are not many guests. Good breakfast but somewhat limited diner options. No problem because it is at walking distance from the nice town of Afytos. Service level is as good as you hope.

Beware the Wasps by the pool and the off mosquito, which as we know is an issue beyond their control. They could work a little harder on the drink prices, as i do think this would encourage more use of the bar both in the daytime and evening. They are well out of step with prices in town. After that i think its delightful

Absolutely delightful, the whole experience was excellent the accommodation ,location and the lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent. The lady in the pool bar made our lounging very enjoyable 🤣 we will be back thank you all for making our holiday so enjoyable. Julie, sue and Ann .

We stayed at Petrine suites in June 2022 over all it is a beautiful place but was spoilt by the number of mosquitoes bites that we got . We stayed in apt with a private pool which was nice but the garden Was a bit over grown and very shady . Plus the coffee machine didn't work but the staff got us a normal kettle which was better . I probably wouldn't recommend for people older than about 70 as the stairs in the apartment are very steep but they do have some without the stairs but not that many . Breakfast was ok for me but my husband said he could have done with some Hot bacon and proper sausages and eggs . Over all we had a lovely stay and the staff do a brilliant job even though nether pool bar was very expensive.

The hotel is just outside the town of Afitos. It is set in very nice grounds. Our room was good with plenty of space. Breakfast was excellent, the pool was good. One the nights we ate in the food was very good. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. All in all a very enjoyable stay

Very nice looking place and a lovely village to visit. Afytos is a short walk down a straight road that has been tarmaced and is in good condition. The village and beach are a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel itself is nice with a nice pool and plenty of sunbeds and seating areas, including shaded and sheltered areas. Breakfast is of good quality with a good choice of food and drinks, though slightly lacking on hot food for my own preferences but it is much better than a lot of buffet breakfasts I have had at hotels in Greece. The room was okay with air con but the shower was in the bath without a curtain or screen which meant it was tricky to avoid getting the bathroom wet. Bedding and towels were changed daily and the bed was comfortable. Just a few things that put me off returning to this hotel. The amount of mosquitoes is ridiculous and everybody I saw was bitten a lot. It made it very uncomfortable to sit in our terrace area and also we got bitten at night numerous times despite using all the sprays and using air con, keeping doors closed etc. The other main drawback was the extortionate prices at the pool bar. I have attached menu photos so you can see what you think but I find 18 euros for a burger and chips or salad to be highly overpriced. Drinks are also on the high end and it soon adds up if you have a few pool days and want refreshments. As you are a bit of a walk from the village there is no other option really than dressing and going away from the pool for an hour or so to get food and drinks. I think the hotel are aware of this and trying to take advantage but really I felt it just put most people off using the pool bar at all. Draft beer at 7 euros and a can of red bull was 6 euros! The other issue we had was the 'private beach' advertised when booking actually made us pay 15 euros for sunbeds initially but then this had changed when we visited the reception to check out and stated they were now free, again shown in the attached pictures. Overall I would rate the hotel as good with good food and pool area but overpriced once you get there. Lower prices at the pool bar and I would return but I know other hotels in Afytos have much cheaper drinks and snacks so if you are a pool person book elsewhere. If you are a beach person then provided you are okay with the walk to the beach this is an okay option if the sister hotel sunbeds are free as this will save you lots as sunbeds on the beach can be charged up to 20 euros per person (usually with a drink included) but check with the hotel prior to booking. Definitely take lots of mosquito repellent too.…

Super staff. The waitress in the restaurant was absolutely the number 1, with Maria at the reception as very good number 2. Petrino is build like a little village. Here you can relax for some peace en quit. A very nice beach front were you ar brought to in 5 minutes with a shuttle completes the story. We booked halfboard and experienced both with breakfast and diner a great variety of delicious buffets and meals. For a week or two without stress en relaxation we can promoot Petrino. Last but not least and a nice subject, value for money.
