Our first visit to the Stratos Hotel, but it won't be our last! We were very pleasantly surprised at the standard of the hotel which was spotlessly clean and wide attention given to cleanliness and hand hygiene. All the staff worked very hard but special mention should be made of the cleaning staff who worked tirelessly to keep the rooms spick and span. Breakfast was excellent every morning with an abundance of fresh, home cooked foods and preserves. The swimming pool was kept clean and the benefit of being able to step down into the pool was much appreciated by my husband. The hotel is in a very good location with a very short stroll into the centre of Afitos village. Beach access is for very fit and mobile people but is easily reached by taxi for €5. However there are nicer beaches on the peninsula. We had the most amazing holiday and met some lovely people. We will definitely return.

What can I say another amazing visit to Stratos hotel.We normally visit as a couple but we travelled as a family as they wanted to know what brings us back each year. And they weren't disappointed the hotel staff work hard to make you welcome and nothing is to much trouble . My youngest son travelled with 10 month old twins and the staff could not be more accomadating Stella brought a baby bath from home to help them bathe the babies to make it easier for them . The rooms are cleaned daily by the pleasant cleaning team the pool area is emaculate as is the dining room and bedrooms . We have visited on many occasions and meet returning guest who feel the same as we do the place is just perfect . All my family really enjoyed their stay at Stratos and will definitely be returning. As for me and my hubby we look forward to seeing you all in September Afitos village is a beautiful place and I'm sure you would not be disappointed it's a very traditional village with lots of choice of restaurants.

Just returned home after a 2 week holiday at the Stratos Hotel. This was our 3rd visit and definitely won’t be the last. First of all, I cannot understand why there have been recent bad reviews, I personally cannot fault this hotel. As for the comment about rude staff, this simply isn’t true. All staff we encountered were polite, friendly and helpful and worked extremely hard to make sure everyone enjoyed their holiday. We stayed in rooms next to the pool which were a good size, nicely furnished and cleaned every day. The air con is free of charge and there is also a small fridge and safe in the room. The pool area was peaceful and very clean. The small bar by the pool sold reasonably priced food and drinks which were served by friendly members of staff. The buffet breakfast has something to suit everyone including cereals, breads, salads, homemade cakes and different choices of hot food each day. The staff are constantly filling up anything which is running low and keep the breakfast area clean and tidy, always smiling and chatting to guests. The beautiful, traditional village of Afitos has many bars, restaurants and shops and is only a short walk from the hotel. Thank you so much Anastasia and all of the staff at the hotel for another amazing holiday. We can’t wait to come back next year.
