There is loads to choose from , adult quite pools more lively pools kids pools and heated pools we managed to get Sunbeds everyday and still loads about there is also adult slides and a amazing kids area with slides and a large emptying bucket along with a indoor play and outdoor park .

Our room was one of the best we have stayed in lovely sea view , very spacious loads of storage walk in style wardrobe , double sink vanity area , hairdryer .. beds are soooo comfy.. large tv mini bar filled daily with drinks and mini kitkats ! Plenty of plug sockets .

We only ate from the main restaurant but can say the food was always delicious such a massive selection ti choose from all cooked fresh in front of you ! Cocktails ! What can I say we made are way three a load of diffrent ones and they was all great ! Kids slushes available along with all day icecream and ice lollies .. they have a t kids buffet as well along with a Willy style and scooped icecream

The grounds and hotel are all absolutely spotless there is always cleaning staff everywhere making sure everything is perfect and everyone we have encountered have greeted us with a smile and hello .. the day time entertainment crew work hard at creating a fun environment for the kids and the shows are pretty good to !
Overall we have loved are time here at the wave resort and will be back again and will be recommending to family and friends !

Most amazing week in this beautiful hotel. Although the hotel is in the middle of nowhere there is a beach just right outdide was a lovely walk each day and the sea was quite warm. The hotel is spotless and very well maintained. The staff are really nice and helpful,and work 24/7. The rooms are brilliant and very spacious with lovely views, the rooms are kept spotless with clean towels every day, the fridge is replenished every day with water, beer,coke and a kit kat (all inc) such a lovely gesture. There are slippers and a robe too if needed. The food is amazing (no one will go hungry) there Is so much choice, the restaurant is huge and plenty of tables this is also kept spotless and staff are on hand if anything is spilt or dropped! The drink selection in the restaurant is good and like how you can help yourself! The food huts round the pools are brilliant too and such a good selection (just too many wasps). Didnt get a chance to use any of the other restaurants as they were fully booked, which was a shame as they looked lovely too. The pool areas are stunning and love the adults only section, was so peaceful we couldn't hear the noise from the children's area. Plenty of sunbeds and canopies. Only down side water in the pools were very cold! Tried the indoor pool on one of the days when the weather wasn't too good it was nice too. Entertainment wasn't that good at night although everyone's got different taste! Only 1 thing at night when adults were trying to have a peaceful drink and natter, there were quite a few kids running around, 1 was even on a scooter racing round nearly knocked into a waiter with a tray full of drinks! ( this being the end of September when kids should of been back to school) so maybe a quieter area for adults only would be nice! Another lovely gesture whilst we were there 1 of our party celebrated her bday, she returned to her room to find a card and bottle! The free shuttle bus was nice too although as it was end of season once we got to pomorie everything was closed. All in all a brilliant relaxed holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel especially if anyone is travelling with children the water themed park looked fabulous.

As the holiday had to take place earlier this year and Greece was unfortunately too hot, we went to Bulgaria for the first time. After about a 25 minute drive (IMPORTANT - fly to Burgas and not Varna!) we arrived at the hotel, where we noticed that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so if you just want to walk out in the evening, this is not the place to be. Nessebar can be reached by taxi, they are right next to the hotel and we also arranged the return trip with them straight away. Costs 35 LV one way.
Unfortunately our rooms were not ready yet (but it was only 10:00 and not available until around 14:00), we had wristbands, so we had a late breakfast and had a look around. The complex is relatively concrete, but has a huge pool area. There are slides etc. for children, a huge long pool that you can swim along and also a 16+ area with equally beautiful pools (infinity, normal and jacuzzi). There were enough loungers and umbrellas, and there are also numerous gazebos, but they are often occupied. The cocktails at the bars are really good and special requests are also fulfilled if possible. The rooms are really great - very large, shower, toilet and washing area separate (although the doors don't close properly, so there is always a gap. When you're on the toilet, your partner can turn on the TV instead ;)), nice balcony with a swallow's nest, which are available in abundance here, which is really great. The beds are super comfortable. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are both great - from fresh pizza and pasta to meat, fish and vegetables, everything is prepared in front of you. Really delicious and you can always find something for every taste. One note: One evening there was shark - that really doesn't have to be... Dessert was a bit weaker, but there was plenty of cake, tarts and fruit. Why only 4 stars? For us, there was a bit too much concrete outside and unfortunately the beach wasn't good at all... It looked as if it had broken away, i.e. there is only one row of loungers, then it drops steeply (1.50 - 2m) and then it continues below, unfortunately without any loungers. It looked different in the pictures, I suspect that something must have happened here. Because there were so few loungers, it was almost impossible to get a place with an umbrella... What a pity. If possible, you should also consider working a little on soundproofing in the dining room, e.g. covering the pillars and ceilings with wooden slats to reduce the noise a little.

We had 11 nights at this lovely resort in July 2 adults and a 4 year old. We absolutely loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. The food was brilliant with lots of choice and a great food court for during the day with burgers, pizzas, nuggets, hot dogs, fruit and deserts. Our daughter is lactose intolerant and everything was well labelled with vegan options and a selection of oat/soya/ coconut milks at breakfast. The slushies and ice lollies were a hit. Drinks were great too, the local beer was lovely and the wine was nice too, not something I’m used to at all inclusive resorts! The resort is gorgeous and is spotless throughout, the cleaning staff are constantly mopping and emptying bins. We were close to a bin on the sunbeds we liked, and at least every half hour it was emptied. The pools were lovely, slightly cold but absolutely fine once you’re in and really refreshing. Our daughter loved the splash park and slides/ tipping bucket area. The entertainment staff work really hard and do a great job. The kids club was a great cool place for our daughter to go for a couple of hours in the morning and they do all sorts of activities with the kids and all have great fun. The kids disco was lots of fun too. The fountain show is a must watch, every night at 9pm and it’s fab! Our room was ideal, great size for the 3 of us and a lovely balcony area overlooking the fountains. Great mini bar restocked daily with juice cartons, coke, beer and a couple of Kit Kats. We went into Nessebar one day and explored the old town, well worth a visit it’s beautiful. You can get a cab from the hotel for 40lev each way and if you call when you are ready to come home they will come out and bring you back. Overall we had an amazing time, absolutely loved this resort and can’t wait to return one day.

Location is isolated, but only 15-20 minutes from Burgas AirPort and Pomerie town. The old city of Nesebar is also c. 20 minutes from the hotel. The hotel has access to the beach, great pools and spa facilities. We booked a ‘Double Room with Limited Sea View and Balcony’ which was great. Queen sized bed plus separate single bed for our teenager. Wardrobe and storage space was ample although a bedside cabinet for additional storage would have been preferred instead of just a table. View was lovely from our balcony on the 4th floor. Staff were great on the whole but not particularly attentive to cleanliness overall, with general toilets being the exception as these were usually in good condition. Our room was ‘serviced’ daily but not cleaned well. Our shower was never cleaned in the two weeks, the floors were dirty, mirrors and surfaces not wiped, products not checked for top up, eg shower gel was empty on arrival and it took four requests to get it replaced. Despite a few requests and assurances from Reception staff that a thorough clean of our room would take place, this never occurred. Prior to checkout my daughter and I looked under furniture to ensure we didn’t leave any belongings behind and were horrified at the state of the floors under the beds - thick with dust and containing foodstuff, and other rubbish, etc. The restaurant and poolside staff were also cursory / light touch regarding their cleaning, particularly of the floors to tidy when things were spilt (ice cream, cakes, other food etc). The buffet restaurant suited my husband’s palette more than mine and my daughter’s but it was great to have food available at all times. I loved the food corner near the pools and beach and it was comforting to always have the option of shade when eating outdoors, by the pool or on the beach. Weather was amazing - high 20s - early 30s degrees Celsius. Lots of loungers and umbrellas available and poolside cabanas too which available at no additional cost. The all inclusive drinks menu was extensive with something for everyone. The minibar in the room was topped up daily. This hotel has a lot of potential but due to a lack of attention in certain areas, is not currently a 5* resort as advertised. That said, I enjoyed my stay.

I want to start by saying what a wonderful stay we had at the Wave Resort hotel 🙌
We loved every minute of our stay from the fabulous waiting staff, cleaners and bar staff to the entertainment team who were amazing and certainly made our stay what it was….faultless!
The kids club, adult activities by the pool and the evening entertainment was outstanding.
The evening entertainment was varied, our kids also used the zorbs in the pool at night.
Every member of the entertainment team took the time, each day, to come to our loungers to speak to us to encourage engagement in the daily activities and check how we were enjoying our stay, which is something we appreciated and certainly felt welcomed and included in the hotel.
The hotel food was amazing and well varied. The bistro bar had good beer, Costa Coffee and the snacks were always fresh.
The main restaurant always had a good variety of food, the best all inclusive we have been to which helped with kids.
The pool side snack bars offer everything you need throughout the day from pizza, salads, kebabs, burgers, chicken, fruit and deserts.
We also had a meal in the Oriental, A La Carte restaurant one night and would recommend this for anyone visiting.
The cleanliness of the hotel was superb, there was always someone cleaning throughout the hotel and our rooms were cleaned and stocked up everyday.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the beach bar and the entertainment at the beach bar.
The beach area was fine for the kids surfing the waves and playing in the water.
We also tried the Red Salted Sea Lake that was great for relaxing.
The swimming pools were ideal for our families with flumes, lazy pool, kids area and the main pool where the water activities such as water polo took place. The indoor pool was also open one day when it rained, we used this along with the spa facilities.
There wasn’t a lot of British people at the Wave Resort however we met so many people from different nationalities who were great company.
I would definitely recommend the Wave Resort and look forward to coming back in the future.

We stayed at this hotel for a week. Our little son and grandparents were there. On the whole, we liked it a lot.
However, some points have bothered us a lot.
For an upscale hotel we expect courtesy, friendliness and above all attention from the staff.
Unfortunately, none of that is missing here. The plates are not cleared away and pile up. You can see the staff in the restaurant very often in small groups to chat.
You get a smile from almost no one.
Everyone seems so bad-tempered and unmotivated. You see a bunch of employees on their phones all the time. Especially the lifeguards...
It is imperative to improve this.
Only positive is the very friendly and courteous lady from the concierge service to be singled out!
The food is generally good. The breakfast is always exactly the same and hangs out of your throat at some point.
Vegan alternatives are unfortunately sought in vain. Gluten-free food is loveless and the toasts always dry up. Didn't dare to... Dinner is great though!
The facility is huge and space for everyone is there. Many attractions for the kids!
If you value relaxation and spa, this is definitely the wrong place. The spa is loveless and unkempt. The saunas may only be entered with bathing suits. Towels are none there, so the saunas are used without a towel. This combination is quite unhygienic. In the steam bath and showers, the armatures fall apart.
We liked the hamam treatment with a woman. Here, however, the unfriendly kind has soured again
Those who holiday here have to plan that there is not much going on outside. Few offers and attractions in the immediate vicinity. Car hire for 70€ a day is very expensive, so are taxis.

Just returned from a fabulous holiday at The Wave Resort, we had a standard side sea view room, it was spacious with a great shower, plenty of shelf and hanging space for belongings, very comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning. Housekeeping was great, toiletries and minibar were checked and stocked daily. The whole hotel was immaculately clean, there was a big storm overnight while we were there and everything was returned to normal very quickly in the morning. Food and drinks were available 24/7, we particularly enjoyed the food court by the activity pool during the day, so much choice of freshly prepared hot and cold food such as wraps, chicken, wedges, various salad pots, fresh fruit, doughnuts, waffles and lots more! The bistro bar was also a bonus, with sandwiches, toasties and all sorts of snacks and drinks available even through the night. The main dining room was busy but we always found somewhere to sit, the staff quickly cleared tables and plates etc. there was a huge choice of food both hot and cold, often it was prepared in front of you. On the Saturday evening there was a gala dinner, the range of seafood available was incredible! Loved the eggs Benedict at breakfast and stir fries at dinner in particular! The costa coffee machines were great and we enjoyed being able to serve ourselves with whatever dinks we liked. Enjoyed the beach bar in the evening and great cocktails in the lobby bar. We found the staff to be lovely, everyone worked so hard, we don’t speak a word of Bulgarian but were always greeted with a smile and someone would be able to help with whatever we needed. We took the shuttle bus into Pomorie, it was easy to book through the concierge and dropped us near the centre of the town - all worked efficiently. We (S & J)would like to give a special thanks to Kiko and the amazing animation team, they made us feel so welcome and we had such fun with the games and activities that they worked so hard with, they included everyone and were never pushy, they always made us smile.

Having just returned from Wave Resort, we cant fault the hotel. It is spotlessly clean, relaxing, has an abundance of sunbeds, great selection of drinks, food always fresh and a great selection of snacks outside of designated meal times.
Hosukeeping staff kept out room clean to a great standard and we had no issues with our room whatsoever.
Evening entertainment was a little bit short and sweet but that's perfectly understandable as it's so late in the season. This definitely isn't the hotel to come to if you're looking for wild nights. The lobby bar in the evening Is a really relaxed vibe with live music, quizzes etc.
The animation team are such a credit to this place. Everyday KIKO would come and round us up for games by the pool. Many laughs were had and we will genuinly miss the fun he brought to our holiday. Our dilplomas for winning games will adorn our walls for all time :)
This hotel is without doubt a 5 star resort and I have rated it as such above. There is only one small issue that I felt let it down at times and that was the attitude and tone of the bar staff at times. We were often left to feel that we as guests were a bit of an inconvenience to them. We would often know that they were talking about us, briefly making eye contact then looking away. We tended to notice that some customers, generally pretty and female, were treated in a very friendly manner wheras most others were greeted with a grunt or a stern unfriendly face. On the whole though, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

From the second we arrived at this beautiful hotel we knew we had booked the right one. Check in was very simple and the staff were very friendly. We arrived at about 11:30 and our room wasn’t ready but they booked us all in gave us our wrist bands and asked us to come back at 2pm.
We went back at just gone 2pm and were given our room and towel keys. We had a junior corner suite and it was absolutely beautiful and the view of the sea was breathtaking.
Food and drink We didn’t realise this but you could get food and drink 24 hours a day. The main restaurant was lovely. So much choice and most things were being cooked in front of you. In the day time you also had the amphitheater area which was so clever. Lots of different huts with different foods. One offering burgers, hot dogs, chips One offering chicken, kebabs One offering doughnuts (amazing) pancakes and waffles Another one with so much fresh fruit and salads. Even the pickiest eaters could find lots to eat here. We also tried one of the Ala carte restaurants (Mediterranean) which was outstanding. The food was cooked and presented so well.
Cleanliness The whole hotel was spotless 24 hours a day. The cleaning staff worked so hard and there was never a mess anywhere.
Rooms Our room was also spotless and our towels and bedding was changed daily. We had a full mini fridge that was replenished daily. Complementary toiletries were of good quality and always full.
Entertainment There was lots of things going on everyday. The animation staff lead by Kiko were outstanding, so friendly and really mad an effort to talk to everyone and Kiko also remembered everyone’s names(god knows how).
Overall this was a fantastic holiday with no faults at all. We had a great time and would highly recommend this hotel. Especially to people with children as there is so much choice for them be it with food, things to do and the whole hotel is really safe and secure.

We came back in September and yes all facilities remain open, however it does state that at time of year not all facilities remain open. I think because the weather stayed nice, they kept them open. If they were to close the outdoor bar and food area, there is still always food and drink available 24/7 it would be the indoor bar and indoor snack bar. Hope this helps.
