I stayed the Wave resort for 3 nights. A wonderful hotel. I had a nice room with a large bathroom and terrace. The service was always perfect everywhere. All employees, service staff and room staff were friendly, courteous, helpful and very professional. Food and drink were always very good and plentiful. The quality was very good. Special thanks to hotel management. I would love to be there again at any time! I seriously recommend this hotel to all...

Hotel's Favorite
The hotel is one of the best all inclusive hotels in Bulgaria! The staff is excellent and extremely kind! The rooms are very bright, wide, have a wardrobe and a beautiful sea view! The food is perfect and of very good quality. They surprised us with champagne and fruit for our wedding anniversary, which was very nice!

Room Tip: Each room has a sea view, but the better rooms also have a view of the fountains!

We were with family and literally it was not possible to enjoy all the facilities because hotel was having corporate events with exhibition crowds of people was everywhere: very long check in, in hall there was a medial exhibition and if you want to go to the spa you should squeeze throw the crowd in robe. Staff alow to park the cars just in front the main entrance so it is difficult to get in and out. Bathroom is not private at all for families (photo attached).

Dear Andy_RU, We are sorry to hear that your stay has been shadowed by the presence of large number of other guests of the hotel and you've had to share the facilities with other people, especially when you have booked only 1 night with us. Surely there is are some inconveniences when you book a seaside resort in October but the large hotels have to take care of their business in low season as well, hence the vastly adjusted prices. We are trying to minimize the impact of the organized events on the holidaymakers, which would have been very useful is you would have taken the time to familiarize your self with the options to avoid the exhibition area and use the facilities without hassle. The entrnce of the hotel was decorated with few banners, as there was a test drive organized for our guests, so naturally, there were a number of guests eager to see the newest vehicles. As much as we understand that some guests are seeking an absolute serenity, a vivid event of such kind may have added some adventure to an Autumn day, which is, sadly not what you have been looking for. We accept your criticism and discontent here and on Booking.com and we promise to be more careful at the end of the season and take serious consideration when planning events. Definitely the best all inclusive in Bulgaria. The hotel is brand new, has heated and clean pools. Spacious rooms, good food and some premium drinks. The staff is friendly and helpful The private beach is small, but instead there are many swimming pools and sunbeds.

Overall, Wave Resort has some of the best accommodation on the Black Sea Coast of Bulgaria if you're looking for a relatively relaxed atmosphere, away from the bustle of loud towns. The parking is a tad odd, understandable since they have many more tourists arriving by car than they did in the past. There is a paid option in front of the hotel (15 leva/day) or a free option outside the barriers, it was all explained at check-in, and makes sense. Being an ultra all-inclusive hotel, I would have expected the parking to be included in the room price as well. The check-in procedure was excellent. We booked a Signature room which is quite a perfect room, with a sprawling sea view and well-designed interior (albeit some details were less than excellent, with small bits of wallpaper peeling and some shoddy craftsmanship in the paintwork - nothing too bad overall). The huge bathtub was amazing, the shower worked well (careful the water on hot is actually incredibly hot and can lead to burns if not careful). The bed was very comfortable, pillows are likely synthetic, would have been nice to have a down option for both the pillows and duvets (interestingly enough separate duvets for a double bed - again option for a single big divet would be nice). The mini-fridge is stocked daily with beer (some Bulgarian brand never heard of that claims to be "imported" but it's made in Bulgaria, so obviously isn't.), Cocke, and some Orange juice. Perfectly acceptable and a nice addition, as minibars are not usually stocked for free in any hotels. Nespresso machine in the room, great, not real Nespresso capsules, less great. However, cannot complain as there are so many choices of coffee throughout the hotel. Room cleaning was done daily and relatively decently, but certainly not at a 5-star level. On one occasion the coffee cups had not been washed. The sheets were changed on day 3/8 and never changed again. The balcony is enormous and has a single sun lounger (would have been nice to have two), a table, and two plastic chairs (quite comfortable). The sliding doors do a decent job at isolating the noise, yet, if you are in the left side of the hotel and want to sleep before 11 when the entertainment program finishes, tough luck, as the noise from the amphitheater does travel through the doors. Very sound sleep otherwise. Outdoor is where it gets really good. this hotel has one of the largest pool complexes that I have ever seen, hundreds of meters of extremely clean pools (very regularly and thoroughly cleaned). There is an adult-only area with its own dedicated pool, which is where we spent all of our time, a fantastic location, with both sun loungers and flat mattresses. Wonderful place. Even though there are numerous signs saying that none of the areas can be reserved by leaving a towel there, everyone would reserve the flatbeds in the early morning, by 9 AM none would usually be available. The beach is steps away from the pools, and very clean, staffed with a lifeguard and lots of sunbeds available there as well. Nothing to complain about. Foodservice is excellent for an all-inclusive, with enormous different options that change every day, including very decent sushi on Saturday night. The staff is seriously good there, with very quick plate removal service. For guests staying more than 7 nights, one visit to the a la carte restaurants is available. We visited the Bulgarian Lavander restaurant, which was in fact an excellent and a good way to change the atmosphere a bit. The lobby bar has a wonderful terrace overlooking the fountains, this is one of my favorite places in the whole resort. There are plenty of bards around the property, offering softs drinks, beer, and spirits, they also make reasonable cocktails. Of course, the spirit quality is very bottom shelf, but it's there. I did like the "Captain Fred" dark rum - Bulgarian clone of Captain Morgan, made me chuckle. There are also some reasonably fun slides in the family area, that can be used by adults as well. Nice additional activity. The spa is also great, with 3 saunas and a hammam, and the super amazing staff there. The paid-for services are decent but not world-class. The major downside of the place, the black cloud over a fantastic place, and the reason why I cannot give this place a whole heard 5 star rating, is the medical team of the hotel. My partner suffered a small injury from one of the slides, her elbow was bleeding as she got a cut. We went to the medical facility of the resort and asked that the nurse or doctor on duty take a quick look at it, clean it if needed, and out a plaster. We were extremely rudely told that this is not an illness, and the medical facility there is not a pharmacy. Eventually, we got a plaster from reception. I spoke to the concierge about the situation, he apologized profusely for it, but the situation was very very unnerving. However, overall, highly recommend this place for a very very decent all-inclusive holiday. For Eastern European standards, it is above almost everything else you will find.

Dear MariusN525, Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review! I was the Concierge, who spoke with you at the desk and now I have the pleasure to reply to your kind review as well! I appreciate your straightforward and unbiased feedback and all remarks and suggestions will be taken into serious consideration. Once again, I'd like to express our sincere regret about the inappropriate response to your needs by the doctor on duty, as this is not the way we treat our guests! There is no problem too small when it is of utmost importance to you. Please rest assured that this unfortunate ocurrence is merely a show of ill temper, rather than a display of bad intentions. The laws of the hospitality which we have adopted are and will be kept with passion in the future. We listen to our guests very closely and constantly improve in order to meet and exceed their expectations. Please feel welcome to Wave Resort anytime you wish! Best Regards, Deyan Kolev Guest Relations Manager
