Up-market accommodation on the outskirts of Lokeren, just off the A17, Gent to Antwerp motorway. A warm welcome and we were guided to a very nice room on the second floor - not wheel chair friendly as far as I could see. A superb local restaurant where we had warm goats cheese salad, was recommended by our hostess and was... More

From the moment we rang the bell to the closure of the door on our departure, we were treated with the utmost courtesy and consideration by Pascale and Peter. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble and any help we needed was freely given. As others have said this is a newly built property situated on the outskirts of Lokeren... More

De Peperbus is a newly built detached property about 2 miles from the centre of Lokeren, but pretty close to the E17. The surrounding area is agricultural and very quiet and safe. The hosts Pascale and Peter are excellent. The bedroom was straight out of an Ideal Home magazine ,and the breakfast is first class and will probably include fruits... More

When you arrive you'll receive a very warm welcome. There is a nice garden and the rooms are very beautiful and convenient. For breakfast they serve fresh fruits from their own garden, freshly baked bread, home made jam and more.... :) We really enjoyed our second stay at this beautiful B&B.

De Peperbus is an excellent B&B in a quiet and rural part of Lokeren, on a very convenient location for both business (close to the town center as well as the industrial area) and leisure (with cycling routes starting on De Peperbus' doorstep). Hands-on owner Pascale knows how to pamper her guests with healthy breakfasts and fresh home grown fruits.... More

We, my wife and 2 minor children, stayed at the De PePerbus Bed and Breakfast located just outside the beautiful village of Lokeren about 45 minutes / 70km from Brussels. The house was set in lovely gardens and the owners were wonderful hosts. The bedrooms were large with spotless, modern en-suites and the delicious breakfast was served on the lawn... More

One of the best B&B's i have stayed in, beautiful house, faultless hosts, wonderful rooms and the most friendliest service. Best nights sleep i have ever had in a hotel. We had an excellant breakfast served in the wonderfully kept Garden on both mornings that was simply bliss....was an effort just to drag myself away from this place. Quiet, peaceful... More

This was my only stay in a B&B on a 7 night business trip all over Netherlands but this place stood out when I was looking for somewhere on the way back to the tunnel at Calais. When I pulled up, Pascale came to the door to greet me and we were into deep conversation straight away, this was lovely... More

We stayed there for a single night in November and wished we had had the time to stay longer. The place is beautiful, with welcoming rooms, a nice open living/dining room for breakfast and a perfectly manicured garden. The hosts are charming and can converse in a surprising number of languages (generally a strong point for Belgium!). Privacy is good... More

I am usually a hotel guy. The good ones are usually safe bets with consistent standards and convenient locations. But $300 euro a night just was too steep for our stay in Brussels so I began to check out bed and breakfasts around Brussels. I found De Peperbus (Flemish for the pepper shaker) online and since the price was reasonable... More
