Every thing that reviewers have said about Jaime is true: he's an exceptional host. This is a beautiful place with spectacular views, even from our room. But what really stood out for us was Jaime's help in organizing our hikes. On a cloudy day he sent us to a perfectly sunny spot and, later, he even recommended a specific order...

Many thanks for your stay and for your great comment, even though the food was a little salty. I do not remember exactly what would happen those days but I am very sorry for what happened, and it is a pity that you didn't tell me at the time. Anyway I am very glad that you have enjoyed your stay...

We had a lovely time at this small family hotel, magnificently located, boasting beautiful views on the nearby mountains, which you can enjoy in the evening over a perfectly chilled gin tonic. The owner Jaime is extremely friendly and helpful to let you enjoy what the Picos has to offer. In addition he is a magnificent cook so we definitely...

Jaime is a perfect host in every sense of the word. He greets you from the beginning and makes you feel welcome. The property is surrounded by picturesque hills and we were so lucky to have an amazing view from our room. His food is the most delicious we've had in all of Spain. Just came back from a vacation in the north of Spain. We stayed in Herdad de la Cueste for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The house is beautiful! at the top of a hill. The view from the house is outstanding, much more than can be discribed in words or shown in pictures. It has to be experienced. The...

This is a wonderful place to stay. It has loads of character, is spotlessly clean and the views across to the mountains are amazing. Jaime is a terrific host. His cooking is excellent. We stayed for six nights and there is a different regional speciality each morning for breakfast. We ate in on three occasions and again the food was...

The house has a stunning location with magnificant views to the Picos. The room we stayed in was perfect, as was the lovely outside terrace. What makes this such a fantastic choice though is the host - Jaime - and his authentic approach. Very knowlegeable, extremely helpful in advising on trips/places of interest, very warm, charming and a great cook!...

Stayed one night on a driving tour of the Picos. We enjoyed a wonderful welcome from Jaime - and felt very much at home straight away. Room was excellent with stunning views to the mountains. Food was second to none - all home cooked and great value. Comfortable sitting room with a cosy log fire - we would have loved...
