As soon as we realised that we were not going to find another room we asked for the room the be upgraded to an Executive Suite with a bed for a 3rd adult. On arrival, when we complained that the tiny room had not been set up for 3 people we were surprised to see a camp bed wheeled into the room. We had paid €160 per night for a camp bed??? In total we paid €960 for 2 nights. The room was so small that we were unable to pack. Camping would have been more luxurious and spacious. Camping would not have cost us €1,000!!! The bar and restaurant were good but the rest of the hotel was shabby. The carpet in the common parts was filthy dirty and threadbare. The headboard was covered in oily stains, the nylon bed-throw covered in dirty stains and the bathroom so old and grotty with its nylon shower curtain that none of us wanted to use the bathroom. I have stayed in far superior 1 star hotels. How on earth does this hotel have 4 stars??? Perhaps because it has a pool? The pool is a joke, squished in at the side of the hotel, in the junction between 2 roads. Fortunately we found a great little beach club just next door so we didn’t have to spend a minute longer in our squalid little room than we needed to. I cannot even remotely recommend this disgusting, dirty, grimy hotel

Just back from a week at this hotel in room 232 with a full on view of the bay which you have to pay extra for when booking your holiday or you won't get it!the bed was king size great! But the hard mattress on my sore back not good pillows ok! Toilet outdated needs refurbished but shower was warm enough for purpose breakfast was same nearly every day and you choose what you want to eat nice cereal, fruit, sausage eggs etc ate once a la carte had a pasta dish 2 desserts small beer and a drink and water and bread 65 euros reduced to 46 because of a 25 percent discount fine but I didn't finish the pasta because it was cold from the start and I kept getting asked 'you don't like the food'yes it was nice but I didn't have the heart to say it was cold the staff everywhere are faultless apart from the young girl at reception who when you asked a question would totally finish talking to you mid sentence to talk to the next person waiting total bad manners!the hotel is lovely outside the outdoor area nice and the girls and the barman really friendly the massage girls Stefania and Christina are excellent and a 40 minute massage is well worth the money ! Being a city hotel only 12 sunbeds didn't even bother to try for a bed as they were always full so it was across the road for some sunshine - buy a drink and get a free sunbed the hotel is in a lovely location okay a bit dated with the hall carpets room was a decent size free safe small tv and wi fi loved the balcony and view best and ok people were moaning about bins being emptied early morning and car noise well read the reviews before you go oh and Corfu town is amazing!

Just returned having spent 7 nights at this hotel, can only endorse other reviews regarding the staff who went out of their way to be very helpful and always smiling. Hotel could do with a little light refurbishment especially the bathrooms it was a bit difficult getting out of the bath after showering.Outside pool was not for olympic swimmers but big enough to cool off in and relax, and for serious swimmers the sea is only across the road. Stayed B&B and the food choice and quality was very good and for coffee drinkers staff were always on hand to top up your cup. Hotel is in a nice position opposite the sea so you can see the ships coming and going, though not sure the room we stayed in,202,could be fully classed as a sea view. It is a 10-15 min walk to the centre, alternatively the 2A bus runs every 20 mins in to town remember to get off at Mon Repos or the stop before coming back otherwise you go on a much longer journey due to it being a one way system. Overall I would say it is a 4 star hotel and would recommend it as a nice place to stay.

We have been here now for 24hrs . I rarely do this but I have to say what an amazing hotel , we have been upgraded to a suite on the 4 th floor due to our existing room not being ready, (1st night spent in small double over looking rubble ) however the hotel and staff could not of been more accommodating. . We now have a wonderful suite and a free evening meal ( booked bed and breakfast ) the hotel is clean the sun beds are luxurious, and yes the pool is small but more than adequate ,, the breakfast this morning had a multitude of options more than enough for everyone and was delicious . At the moment I can’t fault this hotel . I have stayed and travelled many places , staff are amazing . It makes all the difference .

We stayed in room 410 where birds were roosting just outside the patio window. In the evening they made a terrible noise until dawn. We complained and asked for another room but were only offered a very substandard room with a dirty shower. We tried to scare them away but they always came back so we did not sleep well at all. Do not accept this room unless you are assured the birds have been properly dealt with. The hotel is generally a little run down and the drinks are very expensive. A different room may have been better but the complaint was so poorly dealt with we will not stay again.
