Lovely stay: the staff were all brilliant! Really helpful and polite. The location is brilliant, 5 mins from town, but nice and quiet location. They had really good Covid measures and it was all very relaxed! Breakfast was well run and we ate out on the patio which was lovely, they sereved you so that there was no contaminaiton, etc. My bed and pillow was not too comfy, but often the case with hotels. Maybe i am just fussy! Highly recommend the Hotel!!!
Tucked quietly on a leafy square between the seafront and San Rocco, this elegant 19th century mansion was the only home on the square to survive the bombing of Kerkyra (Corfu Town) during World War II. I'm glad it did because over the month I spent traveling around Corfu this was not only the nicest place I stayed in town it was the nicest place on the island. It is on the edge of Old Town, with its hustle bustle, shops and restaurants, museums and bars, an easy stroll to everything, including the beach. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, and slightly old fashioned without being dowdy. The beds are delicious, the towels fluffy and, above all, staffed by people who seem pleased that you are there (no small thing on an island suffering a tsunami of tourists). From the moment you approach the steps to the front door, a bellman is there to help with your bags. The front desk can help with all sorts of things a traveler might need. If you arrive early, coffee or tea is offered from the wood paneled bar in the lobby to enjoy outside on the shady terrace by the fountain. Breakfast is ample and served under an arbor, fresh orange juice is served and omelettes are made to order while you wait. Cold water and complimentary wine are in the fridge for your arrival. And all of this at a very affordable price. I stayed in the Bella Venezia three times and I wished each time that I could have stayed longer. …
One of the best hotels we have stayed in for a good while, spotlessly clean good variation for breakfast and very friendly staff Erica at reception sorted my e-mail account for me.many thanks for that again, would reccomend this hotel to anyone 5 mins walk to the town 10 mins by taxi to the airport will come back again.
I have stayed here many times, and on my recent visit it was just as good. I love Corfu Town and this hotel is in the perfect location. The staff are all brilliant and they will help you in any way they can. A lovely courtyard where breakfast is served. Beach towels are provided daily which is a huge plus point for me. The rooms are not the biggest but are clean and the beds are very comfortable and there is a fridge. One thing I never understood is why they do not provide a box of tissues! That said when I am back in Corfu, hopefully next year I will definitely stay here again.
We always spend a few days in Corfu Town before traveling further afield. Bella Venezia is a gem near the centre of the Old Town and has been our destination of choice for several years now, offering a great location and friendly and efficient service. The rooms, though not capacious due to the architecture of the historic building, are quaint and pleasant, offering good air conditioning. The bar is oppulent and the breakfasts are a delight, served in the garden at the rear of the hotel. Thoroughly recommended!
