Loved the proximity to Mykonos Town and Little Venice. There are no walkways/sidewalks, so the short trek is sketchy, but the drivers generally are familiar with people walking on the road to town, so take a wide berth when passing pedestrians. Transport to/from the airport was seamless and driver was extremely accommodating (stopped at a market for us when we were coming from the airport). Bed comfort was 10/10! Cleaning service daily was very good, and the views were outstanding. Daily included breakfast was very good as well. Overall happy with the location and amenities and would repeat. A few minor negatives: 1. The driveway to the upper villas is STEEP - not very knee friendly and could be dangerous after a couple drinks 2. Overall value of Mykonos is not good compared to some of its sister islands. Nothing against this hotel specifically... just a note that if you choose to go to Mykonos, know you will be paying more for *everything* 3. Similar to #2, *nothing against this hotel specifically* .... but Mykonos needs 100% more taxis than are in service today. 4. Decor of the rooms is very simple. Price point may be more palatable for visitors if the furnishings were more stylish.…
It would be advisable to ignore any reviews prior to the renovation in 2019. Complimentary punctual transport was most welcome and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was a deluxe room that had a terrace but no Jacuzzi and the view is very good. The horizon can be somewhat marred by the coming and goings of huge cruise ships but that is a general observation for anyone staying in the area. The room is clean and comfortable with thick walls to keep the noise from your neighbours. Excellent lighting (not often found in hotels) along with at least ten power points dotted about, coffee machine, kettle, TV and very cold fridge are all provided. The rain shower gave us an issue to start with but this was quickly resolved. For some strange reason there were two sun loungers and only one outside chair so we requested another which was promptly delivered. If you want to sunbathe all day then the terrace is in shade in the afternoon but the beach is very close by and make sure you stick to the closest end as there are bad smells towards the town end. Breakfast was good with ample choice for different tastes. Because you have a good view then it is inevitable you are at elevation and this means there is a very steep drive/steps up to your room so this is definitely not a hotel for anyone who has any mobility problems; in fact most hotels are perched on the hillside so this is a problem everywhere. Disabled access is non-existent, so just getting around in the town would be extremely difficult. There are no restaurants close by and it is a 15 minute walk into town along a road with no pavement, this is a more or less universal feature of walking anywhere on Mykonos and again not specific to this hotel. Mykonos town is delightful but very very busy with narrow streets and numerous bars and restaurants; it is also ridiculously expensive, one ordinary restaurant listed Pizza at €26 each with a bottle of beer at €10 The hotel will assist you in getting a form of transport, scooter, ATV, car or jeep to get you around the island, two days and you can visit most of it in mostly second or third gear! Beware some of the roads are extremely difficult in being narrow and steep with few passing places.…
Amazing hotel, amazing views, service and food. The manager made us feel like guests in his home, would go back there again! We had a room by the pool where they served us breakfast each morning. The location was great to walk and explore the town!
Wow one of my favorite vacations. The hotel is nestled in the hilltop, looking down onto the beach. The scenery made me very happy and relaxed. The staff were the nicest people always greeting people with a smile. Thanks Maria and Miles and everyone else who made it so hard to leave
The best breakfast 🥞! Very kind and friendly stuff. Very clean and nice organised and very clean rooms ❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍 Greetings to Eva! She is the best! Thank you for everything! We had a beautiful stay at cape mykonos! We will return for sure. Kisses
My 17 year old daughter and I had a fantastic experience at Cape Mykonos. Maria at the front desk went above and beyond ensuring we experienced the best Mykonos had to offer. I highly recommend this hotel for location, customer service, airport transportation, and the breakfast. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and our balcony had an absolutely incredible view.
The hotel is beautiful, view is awesome and rooms are nice and clean. All the staff was kind and helpful, they picked us up and drop us off at the airport for free, which is really good considering how expensive uber is in Mykonos. Breakfast wasn’t great, most things (like eggs etc) were cold and there were no options for vegans, not even a fruit, which was disappointing. Other than that it was great, also, amazing location.
This hotel was amazing! The location was great, beautiful views from your balcony, excellent breakfast and the most important the special treatment of the hotel staff. Maria in the reception was super helpful providing us with transportation and great restaurants recommendations, she goes more than beyond. Aris the transportation guy was super as well. Thanks!
Perfect spot for our trip. Right across the street from a quiet beach and a very doable walk to the town. Staff was great with booking reservations and offering suggestions of places to go. Views of the area are fabulous. We loved the homemade breakfast and coffee bar as well.
This hotel was amazing and met all of our needs! The location was great; it was extremely close to everything and the views of the sea were beautiful! Additionally, the breakfast was very tasty and a great way to start each day. Finally, the staff was terrific! Everyone was super friendly and seeing their smiling faces brightened an already amazing trip. They provided dining recommendations and were even nice enough to print our boarding passes. I highly recommend this hotel!
