Most amazing hotel and hosts ever. They are so kind, they are always there to help you like they know you your whole life. The hotel is on the best location in Mykonos, just two minutes to town down the most lovely stairs that are lighted at night. The view is spectacular the pool is the nice feature too and the breakfast is amazing!
Been coming to the Veranda for years. The sunsets are super and the staff like family. Thank you Marius and team for your hospitality! Miss your mom and her DJing that were so well orchestrated to the sunsets. I am happy that she and your father are enjoying retirement. Cheers to you Marius and team! Thank you always!!
This guesthouse has an stunning sea view and the best sunsets. It is pretty comfortable and quiet. Everything is kept clean and tidy. If you are hungry, the Hosts will arrange something for you to make you feel home.
Marina and Andreas run this lovely place up above the Harbour with fantastic views of the town and sunset. They have a nice sized pool and good quality sunbeds. My Wife and I stayed here 5 years ago and thought it was time to call back for 3 nights again. You can have breakfast if you want and it is well worth doing so, a good choice on offer. They have chilled drinks in a large fridge you can purchase at a good price e.g local karafe of wine very good. Andreas picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the port. Good transfer. Marina will sort anything out that you want to know about. Easy to book with Email for me. We hope to stay again. Well done to both of you.
Another great stay at La Veranda, only stayed for 3 nights but feel at home straight away when i arrived. Really enjoyed Rm.7 with kitchenette & lovely terrace. Things change at an astonishing rate in Mykonos, but this hotel has always retained it's charm. Views to die for of course.!
Fantastic stay at La Veranda - the pool area is great and the rooms basic but fine for what is needed. Supermarket at the top of the hill reasonable. The views really did make this place - the best sunset I have seen.
Marina the owner and the staff was very attentive and professional, they make us feel like family. The guesthouse is located on a hill but it’s close to town, about 10 minutes walk which is very typical if you are staying in Mykonos Town. Our room had an amazing view of town.
An amazing place that we couldn’t fault. La Veranda is perched above Mykonos town and has a truly amazing view, especially in the mornin when you can enjoy the most excellent breakfast prepared by the owners (for a really good price). Once you don’t mind the 5 or so minute walk down the hill and back up later on, this is an ideal hotel for you. Greeted by a lovely and helpful woman at reception this place has loads of charm. Our room was one of the smaller ones and it had all we needed (including an iron and board). A special mention must go to how well kept and clean we found this hotel and the guy who maintains the eating area does a great job!!! 👍👍👍 Collected from the airport and dropped to the harbour at no extra cost was a lovely touch also. We have to mention the gorgeous view again and how tranquil this place is. 100% recommended for anyone who doesn’t mind the short (but steep) walk into the centre of the town. 10/10…
This hotel is quiet with calm atmosphere and it has a great location. The owners are very nice people, giving good advices any time we needed them. It feels like family place. There is supermarket nearby, for fresh water and some fruits, very short walk takes you the the Mykonos town where you can explore all the cozy and colorful streets. The famous 180° Sunset Bar is right above, so you can imagine what views of the old port and the city from the terrace of La Veranda! :)
La Veranda stands on the hill right behind the old town of Mykonos. The access is a little steep but the view is totally worth the climb! It overlooks the whole of the old town and the sea - watching the sunsets from their veranda and front patio is a special treat! The rooms are small but well furnished, with a little balcony overlooking the pool area or the sea below. The pool area is really nice and chilled. It's very central, less than 10min walk downhill and you are bang in the centre of the old town, which is gorgeous. Marina and Andreas, the owners, are very friendly and helpful, making recommendations and bookings and doing their utmost to guarantee their guests a nice stay. Andreas will pick you up from the ferry port on arrival (which is great as finding your way to the hotel carrying luggage uphill would not be easy)and depending on departure time, drop you back. Or they will order you a taxi, which was our case. We loved La Veranda, felt well looked after and would definitely go back. Great place!…
