We had horrible experience for this stay. Shortly after we check-in, we were shown to the room and was given a run-down of the “not-to-dos”. For example, we are not to use tinted sunblocks (as it might dirty the bedsheets) and be careful with the handling of our luggage so that the white wall are not dirty. The room is nothing like what we saw on booking.com The location of the place is advertised to be 700m from the centre. It is a big lie. It takes almost 30mins to walk to Mykonos centre under the scorching sun! On the day of our check-out, we asked for help to book a taxi. Instead of a taxi , it was a small, old car that came to ferry us. It’s was so small that we had to fit our luggages in the front seat. The lady that was handling the reception was rude, putting up a long face all the time. We find that communicating with her requires an extra mile (like a big smile or the unnecessary curtsy) to get things done. Not recommended at all!…
This hotel is not a hotel, it’s a nightmare. 160€ for a lousy, dirty (the floor has not been washed for weeks, we had dirty under our feet just after the shower as we walked in the room), and it’s noisy. I know Mykonos is expensive but this place is the worst place I even seen. In top of that the cleaning lady yelled at us because we were still in the room at 11:00 (check out was supposed to be at noon) and the manager almost broke the door to enter. They said it was a mistake but it was really scary ! Unbelievable !
The rooms don't meet the lowest of requirements (old, bad furniture, equipment that looks used). They sell one bedroom room with kitchen as two bedroom room in an overrated price and think you don't notice. Rude and unproffessional owners on top!!!
This place is not as advertised Very misleading Info on booking sites .Rooms out dated and dirty . We were bitten in the night , not sure by what . The staff / Owner is very Rude. Hard to get to . Free shuttle not available. Bathroom falling apart. Bedding full of stains .
The Host was rudest person I have had to deal with ever in a Hotel. We were away for for 2 months traveling and this is the only place that left a sour taste in our mouths. The airport shuttle runs if and when they fancy . I was using a stick to walk, the town shuttle is not available either . The rooms are run down ( see photos) . The safe was not screwed in and when we asked about this we were told to use it anyway ( small safe easy to carry ) We said No and were yelled at about there was no point screwing it because someone could come in with drills etc and remove it anyway ! Really no point talking to this woman . It says most rooms have self catering ( ours did not) We had a filthy Kettle. ( I assume this the coffee and tea maker!) There is a green light over the door that we had to cover with a towel at night . No housekeeping . I booked a room based on the photos and when I got there got a dreadful room off the car park . No view . No curtains to stop people looking in - Just shutters . I travel a lot and am usually happy with the places I book . This was truly the worst and very costly for what you get . If you are not a good walker beware its the last house on a steep hill . They will offer you a half price car rental which really costs more than a fully paid rental with anyone else.…
We had to spent 1 more extra night in Mykonos because we love it there so much... We checked the online booking apps and the prices were mostly above our budget. So we chose Casa Anna. The room was simple and clean, bath was nice too. The staff was so friendly and we even became friends. Greetings from Turkey 💙
We arrived to check in and there was no one to be seen, just a sign up some stairs saying "info" or something... So I went up and found a lady (who turned out to be the cleaner) who didn't speak a word of English and told her we were here to check in. She phoned someone another woman and gave me the phone. The woman welcomed me and then told me to put the other lady back on. We were showed to our room and given a key as normal. About 10 minutes later a very nice man who spoke good English showed up with a map to tell us about the island and show us the room- the room was extremely underwhelming, very small but clean so we couldn't complain. We went about our day, went to the office as instructed which is about 700m away down hill at the car rental place that the owners obviously also own and paid for our room. The male owner seemed very nice and was friendly and helpful. A few hours later when we returned to our room our bathroom floor was covered in water- leaking from the toilet! I immediately phoned the owner who put me on the phone to a woman who was the rudest and angriest person I have ever dealt with. She was yelling at me down the phone telling me it was clean water and they know about it and are waiting for a part from Athens to fix it. I told her it was not ok to let a room with a leaking toilet and she proceeded to yell at me so I gave up and hung up. She sent the cleaner to mop the floor almost immediately although we had already cleaned it up. Later that evening when we went to have a shower we discover that the shower head DID NOT ATTACH TO THE WALL! It was just sitting on top of the taps. By this point I was ready to leave so I phoned up yet again and the angry woman answered, I told her the shower was broken and we either wanted a refund or a new room. She agreed to refund our money the next morning and we were happy with that as this room was a disaster. About 20 minutes later a knock on the door... It's the angry woman who storms into our room and tells us the room is not refundable and that they have already upgraded our room from an even smaller one. She goes into the bathroom and holds the hose over her head and tells me she has travelled the world and that is how you shower, that it can't be hung up otherwise water goes all over the bathroom (I dropped this thing at least 10 times while trying to wash my body/hair water went EVERYWHERE)... She also proceeded to tell us that the leaking toilet didn't matter as it was clean water. She then told me that they could move us Into another room when people checked out the next day and she would show me. She then took me into two rooms which had people's belongings in them and showed me around (the people weren't there)... All of this time she was yelling at me and refusing to refund our money. I was ready to leave and forfeit the money because she was so horrible. Eventually she left and my partner and I decided to forget it and just enjoy our time. We stayed four nights and on the third night they must have come into our room while we were at dinner and attached something to the shower so it could hang from the wall. It was much better. The room was acceptable although not worth the money paid. The cleaner did a good job. The bigger rooms looked much better than the basic rooms although the based on the lack of customer service I would never recommend anyone to stay here.…
very unfriendly staff. the room had a intense unpleasant smell. compared to many other places in greece totally overpriced for such a small crummy room. definetely my worst experience in greece during my last vacation.
Once here, we phoned the Casa Anna number and the owner arrived within minutes to let us in. He supplied us with a map. Two single women, we booked the twin room with garden view. Although it was basic ( bathroom and bedroom only) there was a fridge with a kettle in the bedroom. There was also a dedicated seating and table area in the garden for our sole use. Casa Anna has a beautiful garden area and is cared for by a lovely woman called Maria, who is constantly cleaning. Casa Anna also has other apartments and you really should book through their own website. It was great value for money. The family also own Delos rent a car service literally down the hill from Casa Anna. There is a wonderful family feel to it with people hugging and cheerful all the time. Nothing is too much trouble. We even had a lift back to the airport from Dmitry ( the owner) for only €10. There is a very pretty twenty minute walk downhill to the old port. Traffic is a bit hectic as there are no paths and not a very wide road. At the bottom of the hill is a 24 hr taxi service which only charges €5 back to Casa Anna. I would definitely stay here again.…
Very simple but clean. Twin room with a good shower, wc and basin. My bed was next to a fridge which also served as a night table. Nice surroundings. Shared patio with a. small sea view. A long walk to the town though. taxi 5€ back. Just stayed one night.
