Just returned from a week in Mykonos. We definitely made the right choice of hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vienoula's Garden. The hotel was immaculate & spotlessly clean. Dimitri & all the staff so welcoming & friendly. Always smiling & always ready to answer any questions. We loved being away from the hustle & bustle of Mykonos Town & the 10minute walk into the Town & the 20minute walk back uphill didn't bother us. For anyone with mobility issues, plenty of buses & taxis.

Hotel's Favorite
Fantastic hotel and perfect location, even though it is a short walk outside of town you'll be thankful that it is. ( Keep in mind that there isn't one footpath on any of the main roads, and all the roads are super busy into the early hours of the morning, so please be careful) All the reviews are correct, so I will try and write something that others haven't already said ... I loved this hotel because it didn't try to be something that it is not, and isn't pretentious like many of hotels around town and the Island. The team are super friendly, they go above and beyond to ensure you have a perfect stay. I have stayed in Myknose several times before in other hotels, and all they seem to care about is your money. This Place is perfect. Everything I would look at in choosing a hotel, Vienoula's Garden had. The rooms were typical modern Greek and super sexy, relaxed, modern, clean, fresh, and airy. and they have kept the hotel traditional with a modern twist which is great, and beautifully appointed throughout. The Rooms: The Bathrooms 10/10 Shower: 10/10 Shower Gel and toiletries: 10/10 (this includes toothbrush and tooth paste, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner) The shower gel is amazing, smells great, I even took a little back, it would be rude not too ;) Tiling: 10/10 USB ports: NO Lighting and fixtures: 10/10 Water pressure: 10/10 ( no issues with hot water) Interior Design: 9/10 First impressions: 10/10 Bed comfort: 10/10 Black out curtains: No Sleep Quality: 10/10 Linin: 10/10 Duvet: Yes Phone: Yes Hair dryer: Yes Key: Card Hanging Space: 8/10 [only six hangers] Television: For English only BBC news and no movie channels, and it's not a smart TV with excess to Prime or Netflix. The room came with a small fridge, kettle, and safe, plus slippers no robes though, and No bottled water, the room also came with 2x coffee, 2 x sugar, 2 x small milk, which are replaced daily. There is a mini market and ATM 5 minutes walk outside the hotel to your left, while the town is to your right which leads down a hill into town. Although there really isn't anything outside the hotel in terms of places to eat and drink, everything is in town. [No mini-bar, and we had to ask for an iron, which was no big deal and we kept this for the entire duration of our stay] The rooms. ( all are slightly different, in layout and size, but all carry the same concept) The room at the front of the hotel are better for the Seaview, (higher floor) while these rooms get the sun all day and are perfect to see the sunsets , some of these rooms have a front terrace. but these are not private. These rooms would be better for those on their honeymoon as you place sunbeds in the front of your room, while still have direct excess to the pool area. (These would be great if they had a private jacuzzi.. if fcat this would be amazing) All the ooms are great and you wouldn't be disappointed by any of the rooms, but ideally, you want a room on the front. While the upper floors have a balcony, Rooms at the back of the hotel have a landscaped courtyard view and are at ground level, slightly more shaded with your own outdoor terrace. (same level as the pool) However, room 17 is situated in the centre and isn't that private as its facing an entrance into the main buliding and pathway (a higher wall blocking the enterance, and main path would make it more private, while keeping the other side open) There are no lifts at the propterty, therefore this hotel would not suit those that use a wheelchair or struggle with steps, as there are steps throughout the hotel leading to different floor levels throughout the hotel. The clientele was mixed, couples, solo travellers, LGBTQ-friendly, and families, although I wouldn't recommend this hotel to families with young children as there isn't much for them to do. The Hotel: Location: 10/10 ( if you want somewhere chilled and away from the madness, but wish to be close enough for an evening/day out) First impressions: 10/10 Last impressions 10/10 Reception Desk: 10/10 Interior design: 10/10 Service: 9/10 [only 1 person at the pool bar] Pool bar: 10/10 Drink options 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Relaxed: Yes Pool: 10/10 Drinks 9/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Lighting and fixtures: 10/10 Grounds: 10/10 Sun loungers: 10/10 (comfort 10/10) Linin: 10/10 Fresh towels daily: Yes Fresh Pool towels: Yes Value: 10/10 Toilets and shower rooms: 10/10 Vibe: chilled and relaxed Waiter service around the pool: No Shower and changing rooms for late check out: Yes Luggage room: Yes ATM: No Breakfast: 6/10 they had both hot and cold food ... although it was sadly the same every morning, and it's mainly processed food, processed sausages, bacon and processed cuts of meat. Tinned fruit. (although they did have fresh watermelon) and Coffee at breakfast is from a machine. They also did greek yoghurt, and scrambled egg which was great, selection of pastries (processed) and cereals. - Nice, but felt it could be better. Food: 5/10 but that's mainly for choice, they do a snack menu, but I hate to say it felt it was mainly leftovers from breakfast. Greek salad, Greek Yoghurt, and Toasties. Drink prices in euros. Cocktails 9, in town 25+. Large beer 6 in town 10+, Coffee 4 in town 6+. Soft drinks 2.50 in town 4+ Small beer 3 in town 5, a glass of wine 4.50-7 in town 9+ Where the Hotel lacks... This isn't a negative, as the hotel is fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone, but the town can be overbearing, busy, crowded, and ridiculously overpriced compared to all the other greek Islands. I could have quite happily stayed in the hotel and chilled most nights... The town is beautiful and sexy, and if you use Instagram you'll be in heaven. However, after a few nights out, all you'll want to do is chill and relax and never enter the town, and some nights the thought of walking into the madness puts you off straight away, but if you want to eat and somethig to do, you have no choice. The pool bar closes at 7 pm, and you can swim in the pool until 8 pm... although you could probably swim later and they wouldn't care. The only downside to the hotel after a few nights into your stay you don't always fancy going into town, then there isn't much to do in the evenings after 7pm'ish and it lacks an atmosphere. It would be a great edition if the pool bar stayed open till later, The clubs in town don't start getting busy until around 11 pm -1 am 'ish ... and they stay open till sunrise. Although the town is always busy from start to finish. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops. There is beach close to the hotel, (15 minute walk) turn left at the bottome of the hill at the cross juction and continue walking) - Again no footpath. The inside bar lacks atmosphere and I didn't see anyone using it for our entire stay, which was a shame because this has huge potential and is a great space, but no character, even though it's very nice, it's not somewhere you would want to relax and unwind in the evening... nor is it inviting and feels more like an extension to the lobby or breakfast area. The hotel appears to have plenty of space (both inside and out) that isn't been utilised for its best potential, after 7 pm it became a place to simply to sleep... not everyone wants to go into town every night, some guests would rather relax in the hotel, and get to know the other guest before heading out or calling it a night, there were lots of guests travelling solo, and this would be great space to get to know other guests for chilled drinks or those just wanting a romantic break away from it all without all the madness of town. If the inside bar had better seating, chilled-out music, and a little mood lighting this would create a better atmosphere for sure in the bar area in the evening. Although the hotel is beautifully lit during the evening, not everyone wants to go into town, nor do they want to stay on their balconies, but still wish to be social. As there are no footpaths, and the roads are very dangerous, even a simple jog or run isn't possible, so if there was an onsite gym this would be a great addition too. Outside: double sunbed lounges would be nice for those on a romantic break around the pool, plus an outdoor jacuzzi would be fantastic, while the pool bar stayed open till late, and even a shuttle bus to take you into town or beach at selected times. More choices on the food menu, such as club sandwiches, burgers, and pizzas and more choices in salads, with a better vegan/vegetarian option throughout the day. And more fresh produce at breakfast, in the other words not processed. eg, omelettes, fresh fruit and pastries, and fruit smoothies around the pool would be fantastic. Would I stay again, yes for sure ... Value for money, Great as a base, great location, clean and modern, but still very traditional, and very relaxed? The entire team are amazing and a big shout out to Jenny at the pool bar, who made everyone feel welcome.

Lovely little hotel within walking distance (steep hill) or bus ride from Mykonos town. Busses are frequent until late evening. The road isn't the best in the dark but the busses are cheap and run frequently...just put your hand up anywhere along the route. Owner and staff are lovely- everyone is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this little gem. Breakfast didn't vary but was more than adequate. Lovely pool area always had free sunbeds. We used it as a base to visit other islands and it was great not to take everything with us. Comfortable beds- room not huge but more than adequate with fridge and tea making facilities.

Just got back from Mykonos and absolutely loved staying at vienoulas garden. The staff were unbelievable friendly and accommodating considering we had a 5 month old baby - they couldn't do enought to help us. The hotel itself is lovely, quaint and clean. It suited our needs perfectly, with the room having a really comfy bed, crib, fridge and safe. Before stopping we had read loads of reviews about how the road was bad to walk into Mykonos town and true, the road isn't the best, however, the roads in mykonos are the same so it doesn't matter where you stay, there are minimal pedestrian walkways/paths - basically I wouldn't let this put you off as the hotel is worth the walk/road. The only downside (being very picky here) is the repetitiveness of the breakfast. Just a change on the hot plate through the week would have made all the difference, however, the food was excellent quality, just the same each day. In summary, I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone stopping in Mykonos.

It felt like a family-run hotel. Everyone who worked there went out of their way to be as helpful as possible, and all the staff were very friendly. Everything was spotless and rooms cleaned daily. We only had the hotel breakfast but this was very nice. Hotel is only a 10 minute walk down to the main town so ideal location. The pool area is really nice, never felt too busy as always sunbeds available. (The lady who works behind the poolside bar is an absolute gem and was very friendly to everyone) I would definitely return here as it went a long way in making our trip so enjoyable.

Exceeds expectations of star rating. At time your booking we’d had a debate about booking here or returning to a boutique hotel I’d previously stayed at close by. The decision was made that “on this occasion” we’d book the 3 Star, on the agreement that if it wasn’t OK then it would never happen again. On arrival, the welcome could not have been better, friendly and informative. The bags reached our room almost by magic. The room itself was not the largest, but it was more than adequate, the shower room was fantastic, storage was a little limited and unpacking fully was not an option. The terrace was HUGE, but not all rooms have this. Daily cleaning was to a high standard. The breakfast was fine, it wasn’t great and the dining and bar areas are a little soulless and not a place a drink could be “enjoyed” which is perhaps why this area was so quiet. The pool bar was friendly, the food served here was quite poor and not something which was repeated. The area had just one staff member and as a result was often found a little untidy, with uncleared tables and lots of crumb’s around. This area could benefit from another staff member and enable the hotel to offer waiter service for drinks around its lovely pool, which while offering a better guest service may also increase revenue. Ultimately the cost of staying here was around two thousand pounds less than my first choice. The saving was huge and the hotel did exceed what had been anticipated. Would we stay again? Absolutely without hesitation.

Our visit was a short girlie break away just the two of us. We are both clean freaks and this hotel is absolutely spotless & cleaner than my own home. The hotel is a little gem, it is beautifully decorated and set just a ten minute walk from town. The walk down is terrifying as there are no pavements and tourist are flying around on quads & mopeds. The staff are so helpful and will assist with anything they can. They were good at recommending places to go and how to get there. The lady at the pool bar is sooo lovely & recommended an Italian behind the hotel which was really reasonably priced and refreshing to be out of the hussle & bustle! Prices at the pool bar are really reasonable as well and a decent selection of drinks and food. Breakfast was the same every morning but such a delight. The fresh fruit & Greek yogurt were my favourite. There was also scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and all the usually continental bits. You can sit in or outside for breakfast. We had a late flight home and although we checked out we were able to continue using the facilities and there are separate showers you can use to freshen up before you leave. The hotel was so chilled and there were no loud groups. I would defiantly return and recommend the hotel if your looking for more of a relaxed visit to mykonos.

Recommended by a friend and wasn't disappointed. Spotlessly clean, staff are so friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Couldn't fault. For us use of taxi was preferable to walking down into the town as can be a bit difficult due to lack of pavements.

The staff helped me celebrate my birthday with a yummy ice cream cake and a gorgeous evil eye to help my next year in life. They were super accommodating, gracious and helpful with advice. The facility is lovely and an excellent proximity to town, Ornos and many other places. I throughly enjoyed my vacation 😍

Just stayed here with my daughter for 10 days. The hotel is absolutely immaculate, everything and everywhere in the hotel is spotless, excellent service and staff are so friendly and welcoming, breakfast was superb lots of choices, pool area and beds immaculate, clean towels given everyday for the pool! Which is a bonus! Person on the desk 24/7! When you have a late checkout, they even supply you with fresh towels and an excellent clean shower facility with no extra charge… Would highly recommend anyone to stay here if you are coming to Mykonos. It is a 10 minute walk from the town.
