I took my daughter away to celebrate her completing her GcSE's. we stayed at the Mykonos Beach Hotel for 7 nights. I never leave reviews but feel I really need to. To sum it up, I would thoroughly recommend this place and have nothing bad to say about it! The location is fantastic, all rooms have sea views and the walk into Mykonos Town (which is a sight to be seen - absolutely stunning) is only an 8 mins walk away. We felt slightly smug when others have to take busses or taxis! The infinity pool is lush and looks out over the beach which is just across the road and the staff are so lovely and can't do enough for y ou. Stella, Chris, George and the bar man are so welcoming and go out of their way to help. The breakfast which was included is amazing and everything you need to start the day. The rooms are clean and just what you need and you can sit out on your balcony and watch the sun set. We booked through 'On the Beach' again thoroughly recommend - seamless! As you can see, we loved every minute and can't recommend this place enough....just book it :)…
Absolutely great location with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are rustic charm. Relaxed vibe nothing too much trouble. The views over the water and sunsets are amazing. The pool is good with great views. Breakfast is buffet and good. Kris and George were great and deserve a special mention - great to chat to and super helpful. Good fun. It’s a short walk into town and across the road from a nice beach. Take care walking as there are no footpaths. Once you’ve done the town really recommend getting a hire vehicle and exploring the rest of the house island - beaches on south are less windy and there are some super off the beaten track beaches and tavernas to explore - Fokos - great food at the Taverna; Hidden Beach (Platis Gialos); To Kartéri (amazing sunset great food super good value!)… Worth doing a beach club even if they are expensive and a bit pretentious - Super Paradise was good - great swimming and Lohans is bit more chilled but music was t as good. Cavo Paradiso super club was epic - amazing open air setting on the cliff.…
Great hotel. The pool and hotel location was great. The rooms have a seaview and are a good size. The breakfast doesn’t have much variety but is okay to start the day with. Would recommend to anyone visiting
The accommodation we stayed in was slightly dated and basic, but clean and comfortable and the balcony view across the bay was amazing. Breakfast was also basic (not a lot of variety for a buffet type) but reasonable, hence the 4 out of 5 rating All of the staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble. If I could rate them, it would definitely be 5 out of 5 The location was perfect as was only a short walk into Mykonos town Just had to be careful walking alongside the road as there aren’t any footpaths for some of the way.
Warning- This is the only hotel that has not refunded our deposit from 2 1/2 years ago when we were forced to cancel our dream Greek vacation! All other hotels returned our deposits, except for this one, despite repeated requests. We would like our money back!
Working in the hospitality industry you learn to not believe all the bad reviews you read but having read them before we went we were apprehensive to say the least, but how wrong we were! We arrived to the sun setting in the bay opposite and a super friendly gentleman behind reception, he made us feel welcome and like nothing was too much bother, he assigned us 2 rooms close together but as we wanted 2 twins quickly changed our room to make us even more comfortable. All the staff were friendly and recognised us each day which is a lovely touch. Breakfast is just what you need, light and in a clean setting. The rooms are as some would say basic but I would say traditional and Greek, the buildings are stunning and the pool area is absolutely perfect. Working hard we all needed a break and the hotel and area did not disappoint - thank you we will be back…
Nice hotel but with a lot of potential to be so much better. Pool area and patio area absolutely gorgeous, outside areas around the complex are really nicely decorated and really clean. Breakfast area is nicely set out, really bright and clean. The 2 receptionist and Kris were very nice and always helpful and polite, the male receptionist (sorry I didn’t get his name) was always so polite and made a real effort with us. The rooms - this is where is gets marked down for me, as with the rest of the hotel the outside areas are beautiful and have amazing views! Inside the room is very dated, woodwork is old and tired, there is a fridge and a worktop but no other facilities, to make this hotel so much better they could provide a kettle, tea/coffee facilities, a hair dryer, little things like this along with a small renovation I think would help transform the hotel be a 5 star for me.…
When we arrived they had no room so we had to share with another group / dirty/ rooms never cleaned floors are bathroom just made a bed once no clean bedding my hands and arms where coverd in bites /spoke to the reception and I was told she had cleaned ? and you get bites all the time not a problem !! breakfast not so good had to wait on glasses and cups / excellent location rubbish hotel / needs up dated and needs a new cleaner
The views at sunset are the best reason for visiting the hotel. Several of the staff are very helpful and friendly, the cleaning lady particularly so! However, the rooms are tired and need refurbishment. The pool are was lovely although the pool bar was not open during our visit. The hotel is conveniently placed just outside Mykonos town but there is a walk into town with no pavement along a very busy road.
the location is excellent with a good sea view, the pool also has a sea view, the staff is friendly, the rooms are not so nice but with a good cleanliness you can live. most have a view facing the sea which you can see the sunset sitting in the comfort of your room, the only thing not so good was breakfast, it was not very varied, only ham, cheese and bread, coffee and cooked eggs, but in general it was excellent everything
