Greeted in friendly manner at front desk, cases carried to room and facilities explained. Spacious with panoramic sea view from terrace towards the new port. Excellent breakfast. ( Only negative was price - 40€ per couple - of Hotel organised taxi from airport which did seem high given very short transfer)
This hotel is centrally located (5-7 min walk) to Mykonos Town. Very happy with the location! We enjoyed a room with a great sea view. Staff is very friendly and service is wonderful. Breakfast was included in our package and we were very happy with the service and breakfast options provided every morning. Be prepared…the hotel is located up a steep hill and will leave you breathless upon arrival but it is worth it.
Such a lovely place to stay in Mykonos, perfect location with a nice view of downtown and sea, rooms are clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is generous and tasty, I would give 10 out of 10 for this hotel.
Nice hotel for 1 or 2 nights, nice walk down the hill into town but coming up the hill hard afterwards! Bedroom basic we had no view but other rooms did, breakfast 10 euro each.. transfer to airport and port good but expensive! We liked this hotel but would stay somewhere with a pool next time.
Nice clean rooms, amazing views, great Greek breakfast, super friendly staff and owners who make things happen for you. Great value for money! Perfect location and free parking. Five minutes walk to downtown Mykonos.
Such a lovely stay, yes it’s up a hill, yes it doesn’t have a pool BUT it has great staff, very friendly with nothing too much trouble, spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautiful sea views. Would absolutely recommend! We did sneak into a nearby hotel with a pool for the day - but a drink and they will be fine!
I recently stayed at the Hotel Pelican and had an outstanding experience. The hotel is perched on a hill overlooking Mykonos town and the harbor. It’s only a 5 minute walk to town although back uphill on the return ( but worth it)! I had a Seaview room with a terrace and couldn’t force myself to leave until I watched the sunset. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is well stocked and you can eat inside, on the patio or back on your terrace at your room. I can’t stress how super clean this hotel is and felt very safe and comfortable. My only suggestion to any traveler is to arrive by taxi if you have luggage because of the steep hill. I would stay here again anytime!
Very nice, clean and spacious room with everything you need. Staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever you requested. The only downside is the long walk up a hilly road to access the hotel from the town.Of course, if we were young and in shape the walk wouldn't be such a problem. . .
This is the seventh time staying at the Pelican Hotel in Mykonos. The location is great - close to the town yet far enough away from the noise and bustle that you can get a good night's undisturbed sleep. Yes, there is a hill to walk up to get here from the town, but the view while walking up or down is spectacular - and it's good exercise! The staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They are happy to arrange car or bike hire for you - and able to book tables at even the busiest restaurants such as Interni. The rooms are spacious and if you get a room with a balcony you will have a wonderful sea view.
Stayed in Room 16, a Triple Room. PROS: The room was clean, spacious, and had breathtaking sea views! We were able to watch the sunset right on our doorstep. Although the bathroom had no shower curtain, water did not leak out. The toiletries were a nice touch and replenished daily. Both the Wifi and air conditioning were strong. The water kettle and refrigerator also worked well. The free breakfast from 8:00am-11:00am energized us for the day. There was a delicious selection of hot and cold options, including our favorite, spanokopita! The staff was very friendly - they provided information for the ferry to Delos and even printed out our ferry tickets to Paros for free. CONS: Warning - the hill is STEEP!!! First you walk up about 70 stairs, which is the easy part, and then you continue your trek on the road until you reach the hotel, which is the part we dreaded.…
