Arriving at the gate and seeing the 40 steps to Reception was daunting. No help from staff. Although it says it’s a hotel, it doesn’t feel like one. The place is run by a Receptionist, Bar Lady, Breakfast Organiser, and Cleaner. The pool bar lacks atmosphere. The room was basic,no tea making option. The bed was rock hard. I requested the couch be made up. The bed linen was poor quality and the white towels grey. Needed replacing. The view is spectacular of the water,Mykonos and the harbour. Cruise ships berth right in front of Omoros and whilst it looks good, the noise from the party set of passengers went on till after 2am x many ships. We had a terrace but it didn’t connect directly to our room. An adjoining terrace to ours looked into our room. No privacy. Breakfast was nice by pool. Poor bar was poorly stocked and very limited snacks available. Reception was helpful. We found it very expensive as it was a hotel in name only and more like super expensive airbnb.

We were in the hotel in May and even that the evenings were still cold I would chose to come in main season. The hotel was perfect, the staff went the extra mile. We have booked through the hotel our taxi as well as scooters for one day. They have recommended us great restaurants. I would definitely stay there again and enjoy the beautiful view from the pool.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Old port where buses take you to the beaches and only 10 minutes to the center of town. We stayed in a family room that had 2 rooms. The view from the balcony was amazing. The rooms are good size and very clean. But the first room is on the way to the bathroom (just to keep in mind if there are two families). They changed our towels every day. Breakfast was very good, eggs were always perfectly cooked, fruits and yogurt were good too. The hotel personnel was very friendly and helpful. The recommendations they gave in terms of the beaches and the restaurants were really the best (Elia was our favorite beach and Kounelas tavern had the best fish). We were able to leave our luggage and go to the beach on the day of our departure as they also let us take a shower and even provided the towels. The personnel went above and beyond their duties. Will stay at Omitos again.

We staid there for three nights. When I first saw the room I was a little bit disappointed - according to our reservation we should have a room with seaview. Well.....there was a small window - where you saw 50% the house wall and 50% the sea. Furthermore our private terrace was not next to our room - you have to go around the corner, pass other rooms and there it was - located somewhere else. Finally we have never been there. Also the bathroom has no real ventilation and just a tiny window - so after the shower and during the day it becomes quite hot. If I remember correctly we had the room no. 4 - so please avoid this. As far as I could see - all the other rooms had a very nice terrace and good view. So I think we just were unlucky with the room. All the rest was perfect: WiFi was working everywhere perfectly, the pool area is very nice and you have an amazing view, the breakfast is very good - you have a wide selection of different things, the staff is very friendly and helpful - they gave us some good recommendations with some restaurants, organized for us some nice trips etc. So all in all it was perfect - we were just unlucky with our room.

We booked Omiros hotel the last minutes, after our original reservation at a near by hotel somehow lost our reservation a week before the trip. And we are glad we stayed at Omiros hotel instead the other hotel. Location is great and convenient, the atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful, the view is stunning, the breakfast were good and satisfying. Price is reasonable compared to the rest of Mykonos (which as you know already, is very overpriced). The biggest reason people stay here is the location. Omiros is about 5 minutes walk from Mykonos town, It's setting on the small hills above the old port offers the amazing sea view and view of Mykonos town. The immediate area is peaceful and quiet, yet the liveliness and the busyness of the old town is so accessible. There are plenty of expensive 5 stars hotels in the proximity like Kuoro, Cavo Tagoo. The location is 5/5. The hotel has a nice relaxing atmosphere, with only 10+ rooms, there are plenty of common space to relax and chill, you never have to fight for lounger chair. The pool area also offers stunning sunset. The Breakfast has a good variety of choices and plentiful. The is also a public balcony with beanie chairs. The amenities is 4/5. The staffs were wonderful and friend. Prior to our arrival, our email exchange has mainly been with Cluadia who was helpful in arranging transfer. The other staff Alex was also warm and welcoming. We had the unfortunately incident where airline lost our luggages, and Alex offered to assist us contacting airline and concerning to ask about the status each day, and Claudia was there arrange the drop off the day our luggages finally delivered. On top of that, they both offer great advises on where to eat, where to shop. The reception/concierge staffs were definitely some of the most warm and helpful we've encounter. The breakfast poo bar staffs are also there day and day smiling and greeting. The staffs at Omiros is 5/5. Architect however is not a strength at Omiros. We were in room 8, room is spacious, but layout are somewhat bizzard. Our room probably has the most scenic balcony on property, but it is detached from the room, which require us go through someone else front door (room 9) to get to our balcony. Our room also has view of Mykonos town, but the room location lack privacy. Room 9 has the best location, but their window looks directly into our balcony. Room 1 is junior suite and has private balcony access, but its bathroom window faces one of the public stair and the balcony faces the reception area. Most of room has some kink, but other than that they are all functional. Though I do find it hard to shower without splashing the entire bathroom floor wet difficult. Rooms themselves are well maintained and clean. But the layout of each room left a lot to be desire. The other thing is the air condition doesn't cool the room down very well. It only keep the room from being too hot, but isn't strong enough to cool the room. So the over room rating would be 3/5. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. We enjoyed watching the sunset and the world goes by at Omiros and easy walk into town to dine and drink. If we return to Mykonos, we would stay at Omiros.
