We were in Mykonos late May 2019. We had considered this hotel and search for it when in Mykonos Town. It appears a restaurant is now in it's place. We had first seen and admired the hotel in 2006, and had been in touch with the hotel in July 2018, but it seems it no longer exists.
It’s a lovely family hotel in the center of Mykonos town. Everything is close to it-town beach, port, shops, restaurants, bars, bus stop and things to visit. But as it has a cortyard, it was pretty calm, not too noisy. We were very happy with location. The service was very friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel looks lovely, very romantic. The only negative part is: it would be good to renew a basic things like shower curtain, toilet lock, etc. but pillows were very good. If ever come to Mykonos - will stay there again!
We stayed 5 nights at this hotel and the location was absolutely perfect! The owners were kind and take great pride in their hotel. The A/C worked perfectly. The bedroom was very noisy at night from music in the neighborhood, but bring a noise machine or ear plugs. The bathroom is very tiny, but it all functions fine.
Spent five great nights at Philippi Hotel. The owners are friendly and helpful. Great people. The location is fantastic, central to everything but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the restaurant area in the old port. The bathroom was small but typical of this type of accommodation in the old town of Mykonos. The rooms were very clean and serviced every day. Don't be surprised if you see lots of tourists taking pictures in front of the blue doors to the hotel. We would highly recommend Phillipi Hotel if coming to Mykonos.
It´s a really beautiful hotel, located in the center of Mykonos at a walking distance of everthing. The rooms are very clean and cosy, bed is very comfortable. There is a balcony with tables and chairs with a view of the garden where you can enjoy your breakfast / lunch / dinner... There´s this lovely lady at the reception, who is very willing to help. I loved staying here; if I come to Mykonos again, I will definitely stay here again.
After walking past this hotel many times over the years, last September, we decided to stay here for 4 nights before heading off to Ios. We was given a lovely clean room with nice decor, a wardrobe with safe deposit box inside it, a kettle with tea making facilities and a small bathroom with a good shower and an outside balcony overlooking the gardens and even though the room was quite small it suited our needs just perfectly. The location cannot be beaten as it is right in the centre of town directly opposite Rarity Gallery and it was so lovely to just walk out of the hotel and have all the amenities of Chora on your doorstep. Breakfast is at an additional price and consisted of a small buffet and even though there was a limited choice of food it suited us just fine. You can also tell the owners take pride in their hotel which is imaculate and kept nice and if you had any problems at all they was always on hand to help out. The only negative we had with our particular room on the top floor was it got very hot at times because of some hot water pipes in the bathroom but as we was there for only the 4 nights we didn't let it bother us too much. All in all we highly recommend this hotel being very convenient for all the bars, restaurants and nightlife so if this is what you are looking for then don't look no further…
Choose this hotel, do not hesitate. Incredible location, right in the heart of Mykonos’ town. You can walk everywhere, the port, the mills and Fabrika to take the bus to other beaches. Our host and hotel owner was absolutely amazing and polite. She did everything to make us feel confortable. Always with a smile. This hotel doesnt offer breakfast included but you can pay it separately. Rooms are simple and small. Perfect for a stay on vacation. We were leaving to the airport in the afternoon so she stored our bags and offered us a bathroom with a shower so you can enjoy the beach day. Thank you very much!
The room was very clean with snowy white sheets and towels and the bed was very comfortable. But the bathroom was very poor and in need of refurbishment with dirty grouting on the floor tiles, cracked shower tray and tiles, grubby shower curtain and taps. The cups in the room were also cracked. The location is right in the centre of all the cobbled streets with lots of restaurants close by. Because of the narrow streets there is no vehicular access. Take the water taxi from the port and walk from there, it does mean you have to carry your luggage to the hotel. It was reasonably quiet while we were there but I think in the height of summer it could be noisy.
A small family-run hotel in the very center of Mykonos town. You need max. 5 minutes to reach everything you need in Mykonos town. Restaurants, sightseeing, Shops - everything is just in front of your door. You definitely don’t need a car. Take the bus (4 minutes) walking to the bus station and they bring you to the beaches on the island (the bus time schedule is in the hotel, just ask). Small, but modern and clean rooms, in our case with a wonderful balcony where you can chill or relax. We’ve been there with our small boy and everything for him was prepared: a small bed with pillow, blanket and a towel. Great value for money. Very friendly and helpful owners! We would definitely choose the same hotel next time.
I stayed here recently and felt that the value was perfect, location convenient and staff super helpful. What else could you ask for?! The hotel is located within the winding streets but not one of the busier ones so the noise level is low. Also, of all my months of Eurpoean travel, this bed was the BEST! I didn’t want to leave for that very reason!!
