We have just returned from a lovely 4 nights at Ostraco. I was worried that having only 4 nights wouldn't give us time to truly switch off from London life for a bit. However, the staff at the hotel made sure we did! The chef's breakfast to start each day was epic. Lots of choice and everything was freshly cooked. And Nestoria (hopefully spelt right- and who served us every morning) was amazing! She made sure you tried everything and didn't go hungry! And she was right - everything was worth trying! We also had a few pool days and had lunch a couple of times, which again never failed to impress us! It was a little more expensive than some other places you could go and eat but you couldn't fault the quality and taste, so worth it! Alex, the bartender and his cocktail menu (which he has created - they are his babies!) also made sure that we didn't go thirsty! Every drink we had (iced latte, non achoholic cocktails and the boozy ones) were very tasty. I also had one of the best Pina Coladas of my life. Literally! I want another one now! The stay was truly one of the best experiences we have had and I think that was down to not only the beautiful accommodation, the ease of getting to the town (a 10min walk via the short cut route which helps you avoid the busy roads)...but mostly due to the very attentive staff. Definitely somewhere we will be recommending to family and friends. Sometimes when I read these reviews I do wonder if they are really that good...but this place really was worth the little bit extra.…

A beautiful hotel in Mykonos town. The rooms were super clean and comfortable with a nice rain shower. The breakfast was the best, it’s not buffet, it a la carte and u can order as much as u want and as often as u want. Freshly made and a super tasty cafe latte. The pool was clean, a good place for some relax. I have been to many hotels in my life but here I experienced the friendliest and best staff ever. They were all so nice, the people at the reception or even all the staff at the breakfast. If you go to Mykonos go here

We’ve just got back from seven magical nights at Ostraco Suites in Mykonos, and what an incredible week it’s been. Firstly, the suites are absolutely stunning, some of the best we have visited. The facilities are the perfect blend of clean and modern with a beautiful rustic charm - just what you’d hope from a Greek Hotel. We stayed in room 202 which was very spacious. It featured a stand-alone bath, separate lounge area and hot tub on the balcony - which had incredible views of the sunset. Molton Brown toiletries were provided upon arrival and house keeping visited twice a day to reset the room, replenish towels and even set up flowers, cake and fizz for my birthday which was a special touch. Next, the food at Ostraco Suites is second to none. We were on a breakfast only basis but we would often ordered off the menu throughout the day as it was too good not to. Breakfast is served from 8:30 to around 11 which was perfect for us as it meant we could get up and go exploring before the crowds would appear, or rest after a night in the town and still get something good to eat. Personally, I’d recommend Kagianas for breakfast which is a classic recipe of scrambled egg, feta, tomato and herbs, but the eggs benedict and omelette were equally delicious. Throughout the day the club sandwich was always a hit and big enough to two of us to share, and the Gnocchi Bolognaise is the perfect comfort food and not to be missed. Finally the staff. From the moment we arrived they were so lovely and friendly, nothing was ever too much trouble. From the insanely delicious cocktails, to providing recommendations and personalising the menu, going above and beyond comes as standard from the team at Ostraco. Personally we’d like to recognise and thank Nektaria, Alex, Geórgios and Theodora - you each played a part in making our time at Ostraco so memorable, by the time it came to leave it had become less of a couples holiday and more like travelling with friends. Great location, great swimming area. We had sunset suite which was great for group of 3 (2 bathrooms). We really enjoyed the jacuzzi. Good restaurant with wide choice of dishes and very good food quality. Great drinks 😊 But above all - great service and attitude, which made our holidays unique. Thank you

We arrived in Mykonos by ferry from Sifnos. The hotel had sent a driver to meet us, which we hadn't arranged, but was a nice touch. The hotel is located upon the hill overlooking Mykonos and commands great views. There is a terrific pool area. Our room was cosy albeit the AC unit was temperamental. We didn't get new coffee pods every day in the room, nor new mini shampoo bottles (not very ecofriendly). Breakfast was terrific with good choice. There were some hotel cats that hung out on the property that were friendly and made the resort area feel more homely. Some of the pool bar staff were a little miserable and couldn't force a smile, but other members of staff were a delight. It's a 20-25 mins walk down into Mykonos which includes crossing a hairy roundabout and then a quieter back street. It's steep down the hill and even steeper back up. We were disappointed that the hotel charged €25 for our "courtesy bus" to the port area. Food and drink at the hotel are pricey, much like the island itself. We wouldn't return to Mykonos; it's mostly lunar landscape rubble, and beach sunbeds are north of €30 per day each. It's over hyped, and we regretted not choosing a more traditional, or more 'Greek', island. Mykonos is for those who want to show their wealth and their tan. This is such a lovely hotel. We stayed for 4 nights in September while attending a wedding and everything from the friendly and attentive staff to the room and location were perfect. Mykonos is quite a busy island, particularly around the town and we always felt so at home as soon as we walked through the gates of Ostraco as it has a lovely sprawling location that feels completely separate from the noise and bustle around mykonos town. It really is a little oasis of calm. We had lots of lovely days lounging by the pool and the service here really is exceptional. The room was serviced twice a day and the staff couldn't do enough for you. It was a running joke amongst our group that service in mykonos is a bit grumpy with very stylish but surly staff but this couldn't be more different at Ostraco. Even the other wedding guests who came to visit remarked on how lovely the staff were at the hotel. The rooms are quite simply decorated but it matches the laidback feel of the hotel. It is located on quite a busy road but we couldn't ever really hear any road noise because of the music playing by the pool and the layout of the hotel. As some of the other reviews mentioned, the road into mykonos is a bit steep and dangerous (just don't even bother with high heels if you are walking anywhere in mykonos - it's not worth the broken ankles) but this is fairly normal on the island. There is a lack of pavements and decent roads pretty much everywhere but you just have to keep your wits about you and be as safe as possible. Staying here was really a highlight of our stay on Mykonos and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Thank you to everyone at the Ostraco for a wonderful few days at your beautiful hotel.…

What a fabulous little boutique hotel - all the staff extremely helpful - a credit to the hotel. Food at lunch time was excellent - the evening lacked atmosphere and was very expensive! My only one complaint we had a twin room - the beds were bearly 2ft across felt like you were going to fall out in the night !

We stayed here for three days in September, I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. What a beautiful view, gorgeous pool, breakfast, and food was stellar here just fantastic. But what made our stay the best was the amazing staff how friendly, and accommodating they are they treat you like family. From reception, to the girls that serve breakfast and the pool staff, we hate to say goodbye enjoyed our stay. Don’t hesitate to choose this hotel Bowman’s 🇬🇷❤️
