Detailed Reviews
This a beautiful hotel in a really good location overlooking the town and port. lovely and helpful friendly staff.
The rooms are cleaned daily with clean towels and all bins emptied more than once a day.
The staff are so helpful and will give you any information of the local area. There is a pathway right outside the car park that takes you straight down into the town in about 15mins. It is very steep so coming back up is a struggle but there is a taxi service offered once an hour to take you back up if you need it.
There is a complementary transfer service to and from the airport . There are beach towels to use at the pool and a bar.
Breakfast is buffet style with lots of choice and a cooked option also.
We stayed for 4 nights , which is just enough time to see the sights and enjoy the hotel. Would recommend staying here .

This place is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful, the views for the sunset are amazing, The pool area is lovely, The price is very reasonable, And the breakfast is incredible.
It’s high enough up the hill to get amazing views, but not so high that the walk into town becomes too much of a burden.
The cocktails are amazing, a little expensive if you’re arriving from elsewhere but completely normal for Mykonos.
The aren’t enough beds around the pool and occasionally people were waiting round for beds to free up, but this wasn’t for long and not really an issue.
The only problem with this hotel is it’s in Mykonos. We didn’t enjoy Mykonos, it’s no more beautiful or interesting than the other islands, but everything is more than double the price. As the locals said on every other island “Mykonos isn’t Greece”. If you’re the sort of person that will happily spend €500 per person per day in a beach club then come here and definitely stay at Hermes. If you aren’t then head to Naoussa on Paros instead.

Overall an alright stay, but way too expensive compared to what you get. We will unfortunately not come back, and kind of wish we booked another hotel for this trip.
We were told their driver would wait for us at arrival, but he was 50 minutes late. We were also suggested to be at the airport 2-3h advance for departure (the hotel is 4km from the airport). Felt like it was because the driver had to pick up new guests. He was not friendly at all.
Hotel was very clean, and the food was nice. The hotel has a great view as well, but is located between two roads which you could hear all the time. Also the hotel was noisy itself, if someone moved a chair, took a shower etc. you would hear it clearly.
Some of their staff does deserve five stars for being friendly at least!

Great rooms with modern appliances and a good location.
Staff are friendly and mostly great. I love that they have a complimentary pick up/ drop off service to airport or port. This was a nice touch, and they messaged me before arrival to organise.
Breakfast was OK to be honest. Not the best and not the worst.
No eggs available in buffet, had to be ordered. Always something missing on my table at breakfast, mugs, sugar etc and breakfast staff were a little slow, aside from that everything else was great
Location is good too, but warning, if you're walking into town, it's down a steep hill and coming back it's worse (I had an atv so I only made that trip once) I was exhausted
But it is a short drive to anywhere and not in the midst of the hassle and bussle

Beautifully decorated hotel with spacious rooms and a delicious breakfast offered overlooking the sea. This hotel offers great service and is nearby bike and atv rentals that you can use to explore the island. We had a very pleasant stay here.

Great location. Walking distance to little Venice, other closer restaurants. Room was with a sea view and so amazing. Very clean, great customer service, pool perfect, and free breakfast was more then just buffet. Could order some items off a menu- small but everything was really good. We rented an ATV and was a few doors down- so worth it to explore the entire island

Hermes hotel is a beautiful property located in close proximity to Mykonos town. The front desk, bar and breakfast personnel were very friendly and efficient. The first night that my friend and I stayed we ended up in a double bed even though we booked two single beds. Next day we were moved into the room that we wanted but never received an apology nor compensation for that event. Even though the hotel is overall elegantly appointed, in my view it is too expensive what it offers. However, If you are willing to spend the money, there is a great likelihood that you will have a pleasant stay.

Lovely small (ish) hotel overlooking the town and harbour.
Located approx 10 min walk uphill but worth the walk for the views.
We booked a double with sea view, very small balcony but sufficient to watch the sunset with a glass of wine.
Pool food and breakfast really good.
Lovely pool area with very comfortable sunbeds.
Would definitely stay again.

The room was all we needed as a couple and we had an incredible view to wake up to every morning. Breakfast was great! A lot of options from the continental buffet to hot food menu. The eggs Benny a personal favourite. The pool area was lovely and quiet, despite being next to a road, you would never have realised and sun beds weren’t hard to come by albeit we weren’t in peak season. The bar staff and service was very good, all of them so friendly. We found the walk into town fairly quick and easy where it was down hill on the way in. The hill on the way home is a little tough, but after a few drinks in the evening it makes it a lot easier. For a first time in Mykonos, this hotel really made our experience great and would definitely return in the future. Highly recommend, was good value for money!

Ballyclare, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom30 contributions18 helpful votesHi does this hotel have a dress code and are there many restaurants nearby ? Thanks
No. No dress code. If you walk down to the city..10-15 min walk.. you’ll find plenty of restaurants.
Stayed last October they told me they reopen in April
Yes, there is a bus that goes to the beach. However, the best alternative is renting a four wheeler. It's cheap, easy to drive and convenient, as the beaches are about 5 to 6 miles away from the hotel. There are taxis too, but it is not that common.
Hi. I would assume that the hotel is probably closed. Most hotels in the Greek islands tend to close between November until Easter.
It was a pretty well run place. So try again in a couple of weeks.
I wouldn't stress about it. Should be fine.
Good luck and have a great time 😄
We didn't have to pay any credit card hold but I had prepaid our accomodation. We weren't even asked for a credit card number to pay for incidentals until we checked out.
