Do not stay here. Room we got (5) was awful. Room was extremely dark, smelly and extremely small. Washroom had next to no light, the door hit the toilet and shower curtain was unclean and barely kept the water in. The Mattress was so hard, you could feel the coil springs so it made the night extremely unenjoyable. When checking in the receptionist was extremely rude and even got into a loud disagreement with an other guest. We had to ask twice to get a taxi called for us. Breakfast was ok but coffee came from a commercial machine and wasn’t even fresh. Overall very disappointing stay here.

The hotel seems to be well-located in relation to the city. It is about 2 km away (not a walkable distance, given the quality of the roads and the uphill on the way back), but the bus is just outside and, we were told, this is an easy way of transportation. There is also a pool and good wifi. All the rest were a disappointment. The rooms were dark as if entering a hole. Most things offered at 4-star hotels were missing, and the ones existing are worse than 2-star hotels in some remote countryside. The breakfast is poor and tasteless. Upon registration, we were asked to provide our full credit card details in writing, on a piece of paper whose safety is questionable. We have never seen such arrangements in any other hotel around the world, even in 3rd world countries. Worst of all, the staff was rude, unfriendly, and unaccommodating of basic requests, with a condescending attitude that did not make us feel at ease or welcomed. In general, this is a hotel in need of better management, and definitely does not live up to the 4-star expectations, especially on the specific island.

We stayed for three nights. On the plus-side the staff is friendly and always there to help. The breakfast has the standard kind of food and the pool is nice and well looked after. The rooms are in pretty good conditon. But. The hotel is far away from everything. The bus leaves every half hour, and even if the town is just a few km away it is inpossible to walk because the lack of sidewalks all over the island. The taxis are way to expensive to use everyday. The bar and resturant at the hotel is totaly empty on evenings. The rooms arent very soundisolated so get earbuds if you dont want to be woken up by your neighbours.

We were booked into the hotel for 2 nights - 5 rooms - for a short holidaynin Mykonos. A few days before the trip we looked up the review and found the teviews not so great. We were booked through the travel agenet so could not change the booking at the last minute as everything had been paid for and confirmed. We went in with few expectations but had a mixed experience. The staff were courteous and the hotel rooms were nice and big. However at the check in they wanted us to either make depsoit of 300 euros per eoom or give credit card with CVV no - we asked them why and they said incase we damage anything They wanted 1500 euros as deposit - wonder what we would break for that value. We argued saying that the rooms were all paid for in advance but they would not give us keys saying this was their policy so we gace them the deposit. The entry was not so.good but then the hotel and services turned out to be pretty good. The food in the restaurant turned out to be excellent and I strongly recommend the same. We were allocated 5 rooms in one bldg / villa but the rooms were differently configured. 2 of the rooms were small and 2 were of a good size. The rooms are nice but two of the rooms had very small shower areas which was not comfortable. Also the hotel was around 2 kms from the town which is a bit long to walk in the sun - there is a regular bus service costing around euro 1.8 per person. The other couple of iasues were that the breakfast had limited choice in the spread and was the same over the two days without change. The other was that it is a 4 star hotel but there wasnt a tea coffee machine in the rooms. Overall a mixed experience.

We were sent here without any prior knowledge from the actual hotel that we booked. Only found out that we got 'transferred' to this hotel as a 'upgrade' once we arrived in Mykonos (honestly, this was not an upgrade at all). And we were told at the ferry dock that Giannoulaki Hotel could help us out with whatever questions we had. We only stayed here 1 night out of the 3 nights because honestly it felt like we were placed here against our will (we had to stay that one night because they were only willing to refund our payment of the next 2 nights). Firstly, At the reception desk, I asked the staff why we were put in this hotel when we did not book it - the staff were very unprofessional, unhelpful and told us they didn't know anything and to sort this problem out ourselves. So, yes I had to sort this problem out myself. Secondly, the food is terrible! Breakfast came with the room, but lunch was overpriced! The rooms are old, blend and had the bare minimum necessities...water and slippers are not provided. The views from here are pretty sad. This hotel is far from Mykonos Town, if you want to walk, it will be on the main road and it will take you more than 30 minutes. So yes, good thing we left after the first night for a much better hotel, otherwise our time in Mykonos would have been completely ruined. Don't waste your time and money here, there are heaps of better hotels in Mykonos!
