"Mykonos View" is located on the slopes of a hill looking down on the fashionable main town of Mykonos and the sea beyond. The rooms are grouped together harmoniously to form a multi-colored collage made up of various shapes and numerous materials and levels. The rooms differ from one another in both form and decoration. "Mykonos View" is situated a short distance of Mykonos center thus offering the perfect combination of quick access to the busy harbor area, security, peace and quiet.

Staff at the hotel were very helpful and welcoming. Shoutout to bartender Foti who was super friendly and made chilling around the pool a lovely vibe, chilled Ibiza music playing and the yummiest cocktails. Our room was cleaned everyday and breakfast has a great deal of option and sets you up for the day. Restaurant food is also good and nice spot to watch the sunset. The cocktails are expensive but found that around the whole of Mykonos. It is a little walk into Mykonos main town but the hotel is perfect location as you get a beautiful view from the pool and you soon get used to the walk and there are restaurants and shops along the way. The only compliant however would be to update the shower curtains. I think we went at the perfect time late Sep/beginning of October as I can imagine the pool would get very busy and only a few beds in the shade. But again peak months it’s bound to happen. Would recommend highly visiting at this time/months. Thanks to the team at Mykonos View Hotel for a lovely stay.

The hotel is superb, we stayed in a sea view room which was great to watch the sunset from. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and have very good air con and the people working in the hotel were always super helpful with anything we needed, including arranging our taxis for us whenever we needed them. The pool area is at the top of the hotel (it’s built on a hill, like most places in Mykonos) and has an amazing view of the sea and and Chora. My favourite part was spending time by the pool, where Fotis, the barman, took the most excellent care of us from morning till evening - he’s a brilliant bloke!

Not a relaxing stay. To start with the positives the rooms are nice and clean, clean bedsheets and towels every day is a nice touch and reception were very helpful when we asked for extra pillows and when the fuse blew twice and the fridge broke (these things happen). The aircon is good and rooms bright and airy. Unfortunately although it’s a nice view from the pool if you look straight ahead, immediately below is a very busy road and car park that you cannot tune out to or help but find a massive eyesore and earsore, in the description it sounds as through you just have beautiful views of the sea and Mykonos. See photo attached for actual view! There are not enough sun beds by the pool and only FOUR are in the shade which in the Greek heat is an absolute killer, I understand why they can’t have parasols due to the wind but you just lay like a fried egg all day in full sun unless you manage to get up at 5am and beat someone to the shaded beds as someone always manages to reserve them then barely sit there all day (infuriating). Says pool opens at 9am and all cordoned off yet the same people were able to reserve the shaded beds with their towels no matter how early you wake up. The hill big you have to walk down to get to town is a death trap, it’s so so busy and no footpath or safe walkway so have to have your wits about you and feel like I’ve spent a week crossing the M4 to go for dinner. The hotel play blaring music from 12pm until gone 12am to drown out the road noise but it means you just cannot relax, and god forbid have an early night as you cannot sleep through that noise. Forget napping by the pool or reading a book and pack your headphones. I had to wear my headphones and play white noise to try sleep the one evening we had booked a boat trip following morning just to get to sleep at a reasonable time. You cannot even talk to your partner at the pool it’s so loud, it’s like the barman wants it to be a party hotel, we clearly booked the wrong place but we just wanted to chill when by the pool. We got told off once for bringing a can of coke to the pool, but pool bar charge €4 for a soft drink. The pool bar man is rude. The breakfast is nice and plenty of choice and breakfast staff are nice. We will not return to Mykonos as we found it busy, overcrowded, polluted and stressful (not to mention expensive) but to not even be able to relax by the pool is a shame. I read somewhere it is an adults only pool….NOT the case. It’s not really the place for kids, nothing for them to do. Overpriced and overrated. Oh and don’t forget to add the hotel tax to your bill at the end when you check out. If you get a taxi in Mykonos use iMove and book through the app, cheap reliable and lovely people.

Just got back absolutely buzzing about this hotel. Love it love it. The location is great. Restaurant! The food is excellent thank you Georgia the maitre and Dimitris the bartender making our evening romantic sunsets meals so special. There’s a little walk down a bank into town but after doing it a few times it gets easier. Absolutely will be coming back to this hotel again. The views of the town of Mykonos and the New Port are amazing from most rooms I believe we booked a family sea view room for the 2 of us loads of room to be honest it was the last room so we booked it. Also visit Blu blu bar over the road too not to be missed Adults only pool and bar. This suited us as we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. I’ve added pictures of the view from the restaurant and our balcony.

Spent 5 nights at this amazing place (came home yesterday). We were in room 2 near the top. The room was OK with a brilliantly comfy super king size bed. The views are unbelievable from our balcony looking down on the old port of Mykonos. Probably the best balcony I've ever sat on!! The roof top pool has the same view and the onsite restaurant is reasonably priced (for Mykonos!) - the restaurant is superb. The food is an amazing quality, that good we ate 4 x here. The buffet breakfast has all you need to fuel you for the day and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Very small con's are: The price of the drinks (especially in the pool bar) is eye watering and the alcohol in general here is unfair. There is a mini store at the bottom of the hill and I suggest you go there for balcony drinks. Our room was lovely but the bathroom could do with an upgrade ( I don't do showers curtains!) To get the views obviously the hotel is quite high up. The hill down into the old port is fine both ways (only 5 minutes), but be aware there is around 100 steep steps up to the pool from the road. We found this to be absolutely worth it even in 30° Would definitely stay here again. Amazing place

I mean everything was perfect. The localition with view to the sea, the friendly staff and the food at the breakfast which was a buffet was more than enough where you could try food originally from Greece. At night me and my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, we went almost every night to eat at the Restaurant of the hotel and the food was amazing and the bartender and waitress were so súper friendly towards us and our kids. I recommend to have dinner at the sunset time and you will have an amazing view of the sun going down. I can't say in words how much we loved this place. Thanks for all the attention and smiles you brought to our family. We will definitely come back.

Cosy houses/rooms with nice terrace and 'what's in a name' a perfect Mykonosview! I travelled a lot all over the world but never had a better view like here! Very friendly staff, very good breakfast and a very nice restaurant for dinners with a fantastic view. Also the prices are nice and not so sky high like the rest of the restaurants in town...! I recommend Mykonosview hotel! The only minus, I know that before, just must do a lot of steps ' stairs a day but the views are worth it!

We were probably not the target audience for this hotel, but we were a family of four on the way home from a week in Naxos and an earlier week in Crete. I forget quite why now we flew from home from Mykonos, but there we were. It seemed a much better idea to leave Naxos midday and then spend the next night on Mykonos catching the midday flight the next day, then the obvious alternative of flying home late the next evening. We also decided to see Delos in the time we had - so not relaxing! Our boat was late from Naxos and we arrived without having booked any transfer. This was a big mistake - Mykonos has taxis but seemingly not enough. We ended up getting the bus and walking up the hill - the name of the hotel gives it away but it is distinctly up hill and not an easy walk with baggage. We should (and I would recommend anybody) to ask the hotel to arrange transfer - next day we did to the airport at EUR30, which is probably the same as to the port (guessing). As said the hotel itself is great and feels very peaceful. We had a room for 4. Room clean. Beds good. The pool looked great. If we had decided to chill and stay at the hotel then I think it would have felt even better. However, as said, we went to see Delos and that showed the weakness of staying there - it is a bit of a trek into the old town area down a fairly busy road with no pavement. With that in mind, I'd be wary of staying there again. BTW Everything on Mykonos seemed 50% more than on Naxos, where we had been, and that itself was more expensive than Crete. Just a comment, but it suddenly felt somewhat expensive because of that.
