My fiancé and I visited Aegeo Spas in Semeli hotel, it was one of the greatest massage we have ever had. The staffs named Olga and Kristina were so friendly to us, very professional and patient in explaining the types of spa and benefits we could enjoy from having the spa and etc. After the massage, Olga was so kind to share with us about Greece and the islands we could visit in the future, she explained to us about what we could do and the amazing experience we could get from visiting a certain places in Greece which we would never be able to find from online research. If you are going to visit Mykonos, I would recommend Aegeo Spas if you wished to have a wonderful spa experience on the island. Cheers! Regards, Rebecca
Lovely hotel in a great location which is 5 minutes walking distance from the Mykonos Town center. We stayed the two bedroom spa room which was spacious and we appreciated that there were two bathrooms. There was also private a spa in the outside patio, but we didn't use it. The daily breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the variety of food such as the quiche, croissants, fruits, etc. The hotel front desk service was just ok --- they weren't super nice, but they weren't rude. We got there a bit early and had to wait awhile to check in because the rooms weren't ready. The hotel is on an incline so it's definitely better to wear sneakers or something comfortable to walk in. Overall, we had a good experience at the hotel.
We enjoyed our week here and the hotel facilities were excellent. We went b&b and the breakfast was very good. Our room was nicely appointed and very comfortable and kept beautifully clean. The hotel advertises itself as 5 Star and although its very nice we felt that was a bit over the top. However, if the criteria it measures itself against is drink prices, then they are definitely 5 Star as we felt their prices were extortionate (16 euros for a very average 150ml glass of Chardonnay!). All the staff were first class but a special mention must be given to Christos and Antony who really looked after us - thank you boys.
I had a top notch massage and skin treatment here. A must do while visiting here. They also gave me generous gifts for my skin. So nice!! Beautiful hotel in walkable location to beach ,shops and restaurants.
What a wonderful clean hotel with excellent location to the old town without having to haul your suitcase a long, long distance. The staff are very gracious, and we enjoyed their attention to detail. The rooms are well appointed with extra seating and mood lighting. It looked like all the rooms had either a deck or patio, with some of the upper rooms probably having a harbor view. The onsite dining and bar were also pleasers. Very good experience and I would return there in a heartbeat...if only I could!
If you want a top notch hotel in Mykonos that will make you feel welcomed & like family, this is it, look no further. From Tess at the front desk who welcomes you with a big smile to all the staff, Suerghei,Chris,Antony & Vargos that make you laugh & cry when it's time to leave to go back to the U.S....You will all be surely missed ,but never ever forgotten. The hotel is beautiful & location to town is perfect.Rooms clean & big for what we needed.Do not look any further..Semeli Hotel needs to be on your MUST stay at destination when in Mykonos...Bill & Teri Adler
Out first visit to Mykonos and couldn't have been happier with our stay. We arrived early so we were able to leave our luggage and walk into town. Semi is tucked away far enough from town to be peaceful but close enough to walk to everything. Upon returning for check in, we were unexpectedly upgraded to an AWESOME room! It was poolside and had a jacuzzi in the room! We were in heaven! Although the beds could have been more comfortable, everything about this hotel was special. From the incredible staff to the landscaped grounds, views, and breakfast (best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel)! When I'm Mykonos, we will definitely be back!!
I stayed here for a week in September and loved it. The word "stunning" is thrown around a lot these days, but I think the pool at the Semeli is genuinely stunning, especially at night with the sparkling lights on the bottom of the pool. And, during the day, it's so beautiful, clear, clean and inviting that it's hard not to want to take a swim. The rest of the hotel is beautiful with great attention to detail in decor and ambiance. The food is excellent as well (I enjoyed the breakfast daily, as well as room service and service by the pool). The staff, especially Elisa, Tess, and Stavros, were outstanding - genuinely friendly and helpful. My only complaint is about the beds. I was in two different rooms during my stay, and both beds were rather lumpy and hard. I made it work, as fortunately I can sleep just about anywhere, but I would hope the mattresses are in store for an upgrade in the very near future. In any case, if I'm ever back on Mykonos, I would definitely stay here again.…
My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Semeli hotel for our honeymoon, and could not have made a better choice on this hotel. The location is phenomenal, every other hotel we considered at the same price range was super far from the old town of Mykonos, but this was a perfect 5 minute walk. The hotel itself is gorgeous, and the grounds are beautiful yet quiet and tucked away from old town. The staff here works so hard and is so phenomenal, they are so polite and really helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was seriously incredible and we missed it the rest of our trip, it was wonderful, open till 12 which was so convenient, and constantly replenished all hours of breakfast which was nice if you were to come later, the food was still fresh. The restaurant Krama is also really a great experience, the food was phenomenal, would highly recommend for dinner when they reopen for the season. Our room was also beautiful and very clean, a bit small but the room was really bright and beautiful.Walls are a bit thin especially if you have two other rooms right next to you, and I wish they had nicer toiletries and a full length mirror, but nevertheless the room had a beautiful view with the balcony facing the pool. We also took advantage of the laundry service which was also great and reasonably priced at about 25 euro for a full bag of laundry. The pool was also lovely, and had a decent amount of chairs and sunbeds. The only thing was that people were reserving beds all day and not using them, so this became very annoying for people who would come later in the day to use the pool. I wish the staff would put a sign or let people know they shouldn't do this, as its not really fair to other guests. People should not be hogging the sunbeds for all hours of the day if they're not using them, we saw several couples come to the pool area and notice no beds were available, and then left. We didn't really receive any greeting or any acknowledgement regarding our honeymoon which was a bit disappointing, however this did not affect our stay as we still had a wonderful time and experienced a great stay regardless. The staff here is truly incredible and they make sure you are taken care of, the service is excellent! Would stay here again in a heartbeat on any future trips to Mykonos.…
Semeli is a genuinely lovely boutique style hotel. The moment that you step into the foyer, you feel a wonderful sense of quality and relaxation. The staff are welcoming, friendly and relaxed. Our room was one of the smaller ones but nevertheless had so much character. It was a genuinely comfortable and homely place to call our base for this trip. The location of the hotel couldn't be more perfect, situated as it is, on the very edge of the pedestrian old-town of Mykonos. The views likewise are gorgeous, taking in the rooftops of Mykonos town and stretching across the bay to the harbour (where numerous cruises dock on a daily basis). In addition to the hotel's comfort, staff and location, the food was delicious. We stayed B&B and so can only speak for the breakfast experience which was lovely selection of both Greek and International delicacies. I also want to add a mention for the chef/pastry chef Christina. I'm coeliac and have to eat a diet that is both gluten and dairy free. This seemed to bring out the creative skills of Christina, who upon hearing about my dietary restrictions set about producing some wonderful gluten/dairy free pastries for me. Favourite was the coconut and chocolate brownie which I would recommend whether you are coeliac or not! Thanks Christina :) In short, big thumbs up for the Semeli hotel. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Mykonos.…
