A great stay in a great hotel in a great location. We had 3 nights in Mykonos, all enjoyed at the wonderful Ilio Maris hotel. From getting picked up at the port, to the great breakfast, to lounging around the pool with a cold Mythos, we loved our stay. Thank you.
We stayed here for a short October break. Absolutely loved the hotel. Very reasonable price for a great location and the standard of service from all the staff, who were very friendly and welcoming. The pool area is gorgeous with lovely views. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to set you up for the day. The room was spotless and cleaned every day- was fab’ to come back to after days out exploring. Thank you so much for a great break.
Really short walk into town, clean and pretty. Breakfast was fantastic, I'm vegan and the staff bend over backwards to make sure I had options and was happy, there was a variety of plant milk everyday, sometimes pumkin pie which was delicious, and almond yogurt with lots of toppings. Rooms were quiet, the balcony size depends on the room, we had a good size one (210)
It is our last full day at Ilio Maris in Mykonos and we can't believe how lucky we were to be welcomed and taken care of by such wonderful team here at the hotel. In particular Georgia at reception, Irini in the breakfast area and Chris by the pool couldn't do enough to make us feel like we were super appreciated and special. I'm so sure they make everyone feel like this. We were given amazing tips by Georgia where to go and it was lovely to be greeted by her every time we came back from a wonderful day of island excursion. She's so friendly and knowledgeable. I'm gluten intolerant but it was no issue as I had lots of options. Irini was fabulous at making sure I didn't feel like I was missing out. Amazing customer service; one of the best we've ever received. We would 100% recommend Ilio Maris to anyone visiting Mykonos. The rooms are clean and comfortable and it's a stone throw away from all the bars and restaurants. 5* …
Amazing hotel Great location, 5 minutes from fabrika bus station which takes you to all areas of Mykonos and 10 minute walk into Mykonos town . The staff are so friendly, they arranged free transfers , the rooms are stunning aswell as the pool which has the most amazing view of Mykonos …we also seen one of the best sunsets of our trip here ! Will definitely return and also recommend to anyone to stay here ! Should be 5 stars on google
Oh I wish we could have stayed longer in this hotel (and in Mykonos). We checked in for one night on our way to Naxos by ferry the following day. The hotel arranged a free transfer from the airport and thank you to George who picked us up. The lady in reception who checked us in was very pleasant. We were shown to our room which had a view right down to the windmills and the ‘many’ cruise ships. Breakfast was very nice and they had lovely freshly squeezed orange juice along with greek delicacies as well as usual UK breakfast items. The young man assisting in the breakfast area was very polite and accommodating. The swimming pool looked very inviting but we only had the one day, so we left the hotel after breakfast to have a wander around the town. George drove us down to port later that afternoon. Eight days in Naxos and then back to Ilio Maris. And here I want to thank the hotel for allowing us to stay on two separate single nights as I believe hotel policy is minimum two nights. Once again George collected us from the port around about noon. The lady in reception (sorry I didn’t get your name) welcomed us back. We were shown to our room which overlooked the pool this time. Unfortunately on the way to the room, I tripped and fell flat on my face and hurt my knee. Hubby did mention to reception that the steps around the hotel (and there are many) should be made more by making the slip strips more obvious. We joked that had we been Americans, we would have sued (joking of course). But it is something that needs attention. We spent the majority of the afternoon around the pool. The fall aside, we had a lovely time here at Ilio Maris and wish we could have spent more time there. George once again did the honours and drove us to the airport which was only couple of kms away. Thanks again George - you were a STAr! Tip - the hotel is halfway up a hill and it is quite steep. No real pavements and you need to jostle people, buses, motorbikes etc. All in all, our two separate nights there were a joy and we would definitely stay there again if we get back to Mykonos.…
The very friendly staff make this hotel a wonderful experience. Rooms are nice and clean, functional with balcony and pool and water views. Lovely pool and bar with views of town and ocean. Tasty breakfast. Short walk to Mykonos town and main bus stop.
We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel. Our room was very clean with a super king size bed that was very comfortable. It’s close proximity to the town was also a bonus. However, our enduring memories of our stay in Mykonos this time round will be of the wonderful staff at the hotel. The lovely staff on the reception were always welcoming and happy to help and moved us to a lovely room. There was a wonderful team who waited on our every need at breakfast and last but by no means least was the wonderful bar staff around the pool. Michael and the lovely Chris could not have made our stay any better and made our whole experience at the hotel extra special! Carol xx
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It was in a great location! Only a down hill walk to Fabrica bus station and stones throw away from the town. The amenities in the room were great and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options including, fried eggs, bacon, pancakes and juices! I would definitely stay here again.
I spent three nights here. The staff is fantastic and friendly, particularly the woman working the front desk who had many recommendations and was kind. The breakfast was delicious and filling with many options. Every day was slightly different. The pool area is very relaxing and kept in good shape. From my balcony in my sea view room I had an amazing view of the sunset. You can walk to many restaurants, just be careful on the road--there are many pedestrians so this is fine, but you do need to watch out as there is one crazy intersection. The only thing I would change about this hotel is more light in the bathroom--the shower was oddly dark.
