We stayed at this lovely hotel for 5 nights in September over my 50th birthday. It was a contemporary boutique style hotel, well located about 15 minutes walk into Mykonos town and walking distance to some beaches. The sunbathing area was quite small but lovely beds to lounge on and amazing sunset views. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was very good and equally had dinner there once which was good. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and there was a great cocktail mixologist. The room was quite small and basic but clean and had a little balcony, there were more expensive options. I would highly recommend the hotel if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Mykonos town but equally can walk there!

Absolutely dreamy We stayed in tharroe of Mýkonos for 3/4 nights and it was a major highlight of the holiday We were greeted by staff who were so respectful yet welcoming , inviting and fun which made the experience that 10x more enjoyable (special shout out to the owner who was a lovely and welcoming lady , Adonis , Dimitiri , the barman and the lovely lady on the front desk ) the modern and decadent Interior throughout the hotel was magnificent from the first steps The whole experience was extremely luxurious from the Breakfast and the presentation to the views that were 10/10 every night , the staff friendless and spotless room cleanliness. Our room was spectacular and we appreciated everything from the overly comfortable beds to the small details and decor that made all the difference We felt incredibly safe , looked after , all our needs were met and more . Food at the restaurant was lovely in particular the meatballs for lunch / starters . There’s not a bad word to say . 10/10 experience and highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful family run hotel, the staff can’t do enough for you and are incredibly friendly. The location is perfect, situated on the top of a hill with beautiful panoramic views of Mykonos town and the Aegean sea. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the hotel is only a short walk away from Mykonos town which is the perfect place to spend the evening.

Honestly, it was the most incredible stay at any hotel I've ever experienced. The staff went above and beyond, and were attentive with everything and anything. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were the best and were always on-hand to help my girlfriend and I. If i was to go back Mykonos, i would stay at the hotel again.

Choosing a hotel in Mykonos can be difficult, with seemingly endless options & mixed reviews. We visited Mykonos as part of a Greek island hopping trip at the end of August 2020 and as seasoned travellers & regular visitors to luxury hotels around the world decided to stay at Tharroe of Mykonos - a boutique hotel with 26 rooms ( & suites ) a short walk to Little Venice & Chora - Mykonos old town. Location wise, you can’t fault the hotel: a 15-minute walk ( ladies, wear flat shoes! ) to the town which makes it an excellent base for those looking to both explore & wanting the legendary Mykonos nightlife. The hotel directly overlooks the Agean and has unbeatable views of the famed Kato Mill windmills & the sunset- in fact, sunset views from the pool terrace here are so good hotel guests tend to stay at the hotel to watch sunset rather than venturing out to an overpriced bar/restaurant/tourist trap to do so. The restaurant at the hotel - Barbarossa, also serves delicious high-quality food that beats many of Mykonos’s best restaurants; if staying at the hotel, it’s definitely worth eating here at least one evening ( opt for the seafood linguine, it’s heavenly ). Interiors at the hotel are spotless and modern Cycladic in style & the rooms and suites follow the same style. Sea View rooms offer great views but balconies are a little on the small side, so I would recommend upgrading to a suite if you plan on spending time relaxing in the hotel itself. The pool area also gets quite busy if the hotel is at capacity but the daybeds do make a great place to while away a sunny day if you get down early enough. One more thing to note, due to the hotel’s close proximity to Mykonos town, expect people ( loudly ) coming back from nights out waking you up. However, with current Covid restrictions ( as of today ) bars and restaurants must close at midnight so it isn’t so much of an issue now as it may be in “normal” times. Service at the hotel was the thing that really stood out. Friendly, attentive and always on hand to offer restaurant advice, help or to simply ask how your day was. This is what sets Tharroe of Mykonos apart from the many luxury hotels on the island. Thank you to all of the team who looked after us so well. All in all, a fantastic stay.
