Enjoy your stay in Mykonos Town!
We stayed at the lovely Mykonos Bay for 2 nights during our trip to Greece. We arrived to be upgraded on our room without even asking. Beautiful place to stay with gorgeous views. All of our transport was of no extra cost and the breakfast was the best of all the islands we visited. Perfectly located to Mykonos town, as well. Would highly recommend to anyone :)
This is one of the best hotel/resorts that I have stayed at for the following reasons... 1. Central location--walkable to Mykonos Town and close to all the other popular destinations on the island (like Ornos Beach, Ano Mera and more). 2. The breakfast is amazing!!! 3. The staff is all so friendly and accommodating (for example, we loved Anastasio, Paola, Mr. Happy and Pamma). 4. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and clean! I mean, they clean the room 2x per day! 5. Incredible views to watch the sunset. I went to this resort with my family and we got one of the 2 bedroom villas with a private pool! It was the perfect place to relax and tan and watch the sunset.
Wonderful hotel… excellent service from all staff nothing was too much trouble for them. Close to town with free shuttle to town and the airport. Beautiful spacious rooms which felt light and airy. They knew we were travelling with an infant so ensured we had a large room with a brilliant hot tub and view. My only negatives: the beach was rocky and not the easiest to swim in (not the fault of the hotel) the pool felt a little outdated could do with a revamp. Thanks for an amazing stay!!
Just returned from Mykonos while there we went to the beach. Mykonos Bay Hotel had sun beds . I was with my wife so we would need 2 sunbeds . i asked the girl at the door and she said 25 Euros . We sat on the beds on the beach and the bill came for the sunbeds 50Euros . I said whats this and they said 25 Euros each . But thats not what i was told at the door . They said i must have misheard. On the other islands it was on a notice umbrella and two sunbeds 25 Euros on one island the beds were free as long as you had something to eat. This island should be renamed Ripoff Island
Just back to the States after enjoying our 12 day Greece Vacation. After quite a bit of research before the trip we choose the Mykonos Bay Hotel for our 5 day / 4 night stay. We booked on Booking.com. The location is Perfect right on the Beach! Also walking distance to Mykonos Town, Little Venice, the Windmills & a small Mini Market for snacks, wine, & beer! We really appreciated the free transportation service for port pickup & departure as well as a driver to dinner one night! The hotel includes a plentiful breakfast each morning with pastries, breads, fruit, meats & cheese as well as egg & pancake options. Hotel reception and ALL the staff we meet during our stay where super friendly and accommodating! They even arranged a same day delivery of an ATV for us to use to explore the island. We feel like we had the best room at the hotel (#42) with beautiful 2nd floor beach views and a private hot tub & comfortable balcony seating. Our room was small but had everything we needed including a magnification makeup mirror which I appreciated. Very Nice Boutique Family run Hotel, my only suggestion for improvement at this resort would be better maintenance & beautification of the outdoor landscaping from the balcony views. But with views of the Aegean Sea that beautiful all the guests have to do is look past the forgotten garden space. Also an iron in the room would have been helpful. Thank You so much a great stay while in Mykonos! And for all the first aid supplies when my husband cut his foot!!…
We stayed for 5 nights in Mykonos Bay Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The service at the hotel was simply amazing - the staff always go above and beyond to help you and are always very courteous and kind. The food at the hotel was unbelievably amazing - some of the best food I've ever had has been here! I would recommend the mushroom risotto in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was also spectacular - especially the pancakes and omelettes! The hotel also gave us a complimentary shuttle service to and from the town, as the walk was slightly tricky as there was no pedestrian sidewalk. We also had complimentary airport transfers. The drivers were always very friendly. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Mykonos.
Amazing service and very nice location, my experience was fantastic at the bay hotel, I just think that for the room service it could be improved a little bit more, for sure we will be back here. The sunset in this place is one of the best Greece has my heart!
This is a family friendly hotel with a terrific location. The service is great and reception staff was amazing. The rooms were clean, spacious and beautiful. The views were breathtaking. This hotel is a great alternative to the party atmosphere of the island. Highly recommend it.
We first booked 3 nights to stay at Mykonos Bay but extended our stay given the excellent time we had there. Beautiful place, good amenities, not far from the centre of Mykonos town (8-10min walk), excellent breakfast and great service to make our stay a relaxing one, also stress free with the complementary shuttle offered by the hotel for our arrival and departure. But above all, it's the exceptional staff at Mykonos Bay who made our stay unforgettable and we will definitely return to Mykonos Bay next time we are in Mykonos ! I can't praise enough the friendliness of the staff, many thanks to everyone with a special glance to Joanna, Maria, Tassos ! Highly recommended !
Consider this a 4.5 star review. I spent two nights at the Mykonos Bay Hotel. The hotel offers complimentary transportation upon arrival and departure, which is a much-appreciated amenity. I was picked-up at the Ferry Port, and dropped-off at the Airport. Upon arriving at the hotel, guests are offered a welcome drink. I was assigned to Room 11, which is decorated in a Mediterranean style, but was very small. There was barely any room to open a suitcase. The bathroom was a good size, but the open-plan shower was too large. I appreciated that there were some English language channels on the TV. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, and included almost too much food. You receive starters of fruit, a breadbasket, cold cuts/cheese, and some pastries. Main dishes are selected from a menu. My favorite aspect of the hotel was the large pool, though the water was a bit cool. Plenty of servers were available to take food and drink orders. I selected the Mykonos Bay because it was the nearest hotel to Mykonos Town that had a beach. While probably not the nicest beach on the island, I thought it was great. A couple of downsides. Housekeeping didn't replenish the shampoo/soap one day, which I would have expected for a hotel charging 540 Euros a night. Also, be very careful when walking to and from Mykonos Town, especially at night. There are no sidewalks and drivers can be reckless. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful, including the drivers, reception, and servers. Overall, I had a very nice stay on Mykonos, though the island as a whole is very expensive.…
