I want to start by saying I’m generally pretty fussy, I like good service and cleanliness and generally an easy life on holiday, as do we all I guess. Hotel Kyma party of the Myconian collection made my holiday break perfect. I did a lot of research on hotels and was recommended others before chosing Kyma, I just kept coming back to it and I was so glad on my choice as it really did tick all the boxes for Mykonos. I chose to go in September as I didn’t want it busy but was keen on the sun still, yes it’s a bit windier that time of year but the temperature was perfect, mid to late 20s c We got picked up from the airport from a polite guy with a clean and aircon people carrier helped us with our bags offered us water, made polite chit chat a pleasant start. We pulled into the Mykonian complex which has 3 hotels attached all very tidy clean, with the most stunning view of the windmills in the backdrop. Kyma was the cheaper option, but sold me more on the pool and even with waking around I still preferred Kyma out of the choices, you could have used the other pools but we really didn’t need to move, I loved our views. I say Kyma was cheaper but by no means less good. We were presented with a complimentary drink cold face towels and a pleasant girl on reception, she came over told us everything we needed to know, it wasn’t salesy or bored she was very enthusiastic and smiley which made us feel very welcome, something you get with a boutique hotel. She told us she could book dinner made some Good recommendations and then took us to our room, our cases were taken away and turned up 5 mins after our room tour was done with the obligatory balcony door opening to the most stunning views over the sea and the windmills in the background. The room was immaculate, all the mod cons clean, modern and nice touches. Plenty of towels drinks and a big powerful shower what more did we need. Smiley maids with friendly manner, who seemed to come in not straight after breakfast but perfectly timed for you to get your swimsuit on and get out by the pool. Breakfast is great huge selection and they will make you anything on the menu too, my favourite meal of the day. Pool is big for Mykonos standard plenty of beds and day beds really comfortable and clean with table service really friendly, helpful and efficient. All the staff I found really helpful and friendly they couldn’t do enough. I rented a quad from the main desk they were efficient and helpful. Lunch by the pool was also great, all the dishes fresh and tasty, and I’m pretty fussy I really couldn’t fault anything at the hotel, it was all perfect. The room the reception areas, room service quick and friendly. And the concierge couldn’t have helped us any more with hotel recommendations and nice spots to go for sundowners. The quad really helped I was sensible and didn’t park in town but used it for beaches and exploring the island as you really can park in most places. Downside of Mykonos is getting around so I’d reccomdend a quad, as taxis are really expensive and rare. I felt so safe at our hotel with security on the gate and a barrier. The hotel is perfectly located for walking into the old town which is another reason I chose it l LOCATION. A 7 min walk to the windmills and the main old time Which is where we had dinner and walks every night. It’s quite up hill on the way back so flat shoes are necessary, but you wouldn’t want heels for the old town. Me and my girlfriend really had the best time, the hotel ticked all our boxes and I really couldn’t fault a thing, pool perfect, food lovely and service impeccable, the room and bed very clean with stunning views. And when it was time to leave we had a nice farewell along with a lift back to the airport with a time of our request I loved KYMA so much I returned again the following year also in September. So I did 2018, 2019. My girlfriend and I decided it would be a yearly trip and definitely back to KYMA, I went round a lot of other hotels while I was there ... A LOT. However I will only return to Kyma, I have also recommended other friends to go to Kyma about 3 other couples and they have all been and all said the same as me, it’s a perfect friendly boutique hotel. A friend even fussier then me said it’s the best break he’s had for years, and he said he was really bowled over by the friendly staff, they really made it for me also. Anyways I’m hoping to return this year in September, we are in the midst of Covid 19 but I’m celebrating my 40th year so I’m hoping to return to Kyma. You won’t be disappointed and NO I don’t work for the hotel I just thought they deserved a great review. Enjoy !!!!!

I wanted to share this review being a guest who has not checked into the hotel... I was referred this hotel by a friend that stayed in 2018 and loved her trip. Over the past couple of months I had been planning my holiday and had numerous questions & changes to my reservation which Nancy had helped with. Last week due to the outbreak of COVID-19 I contacted the hotel having to cancel my reservation.. I am so sad I won’t be visiting this hotel that had such upheld such great customer service from the opposite side of the world. Nancy you should be commended. You were such a pleasure to deal with, and are the reason I will refer travellers from Australia to your beautiful hotel.

Bit of a late review, and my first review ever, but I felt the need to write one. Not much to say other than excellent! My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon. From check-in to check-out; service, amenities, and food is top notch. Unfortunately I can't remember staff names but all members stood out positively. They absolutely cared to make your experience excellent. We felt spoiled, and would definitely stay here again. Only think I would say is for private pools to have temperature control as the water was freezing and could only be enjoyed for a quick dip before your lips start turning blue. Luckily sun bathing was perfect conditions as the wind. Thank you to all at Myconian Kyma for making our honeymoon a memorable one.

Where to start, this really was the best hotel we have stayed in. Not only are the views breathtaking, the staff/service was faultless! Our room was beautiful & extremely comfortable, and we were given a complimentary upgrade on our arrival. The pool is beautiful with a range of large sofa like beds to choose from. On our last morning we were given gifts & complimentary drinks until we left. Book this hotel!!! You won’t be sorry!!! Thank you to all the staff that made our experience so memorable. :)

My husband and I spent 4 days at The Myconian Kyma and boy were we not ready for this mind blowing experience! We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Mykonos - a real 5 star service from the incredibly attentive staff and customer service, the stunning layout and design of the hotel, the amazing breakfast buffet and restaurant and the stunning rooms The hotel is situated on a hill which has great views of the iconic windmills. It’s about a 10min walk down to Mykonos Town but more around 20min uphill, especially in the heat! The spa is glorious and the restaurants are all top class. Kyma is part of a wider chain of hotels and its restaurant Noa Greek, which specialises in traditional cuisine, is delicious! Over the road, don’t miss out on the sister hotel’s restaurant Baos, which is more fine dining and a great experience. The highlight was undeniably the masterclass in customer service though – I can’t recall ever having experienced anything like it, while at the same time, always dreaming of this kind of service. Staff were so incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment you land, through to your check in experience and during your whole stay at the hotel, whether in your room, by the pool or at the restaurant. We want to give a particular shout out to Panos who brightened up our mornings during breakfast time, and Gregoris, who so kindly helped us rent a car. Thank you so much Myconian Kyma – we can’t wait to be back!
