This is our second visit but to a different apartment. There are some negatives, but the positives far out way them.
The reception staff are friendly, they also can book tours at a very good price. The apartments are in a very good location, next door is a supermarket and the reception is at the back of their restaurant. ( which had a nice selection of ice cream cones/tubs) Other supermarkets, restaurants, bars , shop and a shopping center are within 5 minutes walk. The beach is a down hill stroll of about 10/15 minutes.
The apartments are clean and spacious with lots of hanging space and storage . Large balcony. Kitchen has Microwave, toaster, kettle, hob, oven and fridge freezer( large fridge , small freezer. ) Tv has some English channels. Safe, fan, hair dyer and iron are at an additional daily charge, along with the WiFi (not sure in this day and age why they charge a daily rate, all restaurants nearby all offer free WiFi)
Pool was slightly heated (21 degrees when we were there) fair amount of sun beds, some umbrellas were broken. Pool bar serving hot snacks and drinks at a reasonable price.
Now the negatives. The apartment needs up dating. A fresh coat of paint to cover the marks on the wall. There were cracked glass panels in the door, missing light shade, broken sun lounger, damaged bath room door. The apartment was for 4 but only had 3 large glasses and 1 small, odd crockery and the electric sockets were at a strange angle. We arrived on Sunday, there was no maid service until Wednesday afternoon and only because we asked at reception when one was due. The towels were changed one more time later in the week.

We arrived on Tuesday 3rd March for 4 nights and when we arrived at our apartment we were horrified. Me and my partner came with his older teenage daughter, our 1 year old and his mother. The apartment which was 82 right at the back of the hotel was horrific to say the least. The kitchen was covered in absolute crap, stains in all the cupboards, dirt all over the microwave and the sink wouldn’t hold water. We had a few cockroaches but only to be expected in this weather. We requested to move rooms which was arranged for us the next day as I couldn’t sort my daughters milk bottles in such an unhygienic apartment, or anyone for that matter.

We were moved to room 89 which was a significant improvement. Very clean, felt more homely in how it was presented and had a bigger outside space with private loungers. I don’t understand why they aren’t consistently clean throughout their complex though. Also through our entire stay they didn’t change our beddings or towels once.

This is the 4th time I’ve stayed in Costa Adeje and it was fab location for our favourite spot, lovely restaurant called marios across the road with yummy fry ups for 3.50 euros, Irish bar at the end of the road opposite a live sports bar. HIGHLY recommend Harleys American restaurant down the hill from the Irish bar and if you carry on past harleys, also recommend Amanda’s, 3 courses for 8.50 euros but the spaghetti carbonara from the main menu is AMAZING. Short 10 minute walk to the beach.

I would return to this hotel but not with my 1 year old.

The pizzas from the restaurant at the hotel are also very good and there’s a shop between this hotel and Laguna park 1 which stocks most things but is expensive.

Finally, if the hotel sees this, I left one of my daughters favourite toys under the sofa in room 89 or could still be in 82. It was a little pink car from early learning centre quite bulky about the size of an adults hand😢

Stayed here as part of a large group across several rooms, the rooms themselves are a bit tired and dated but they have all the basics and for the price are very reasonable, they have a good shower, clean bathroom, plenty of sockets, a kettle microwave and fridge, a tv with some English channels and decent towels that are changed every 2 days. The pool area is nice with a nice bar that serves snack food throughout the day, the restaurant at the front of the hotel does fantastic food and is well priced. The hotel itself is in a really good place with a row of bars over the road that all have entertainment in the evening and about a 10 minute walk down the hill to the beach and more bars and restaurants. For the price you can’t beat this hotel and I would definitely come back again!

My wife and stayed here for our 12th time from 11th to 25th January.
Had yet another great stay and have to say that this area is our favourite part of Tenerife.
Check in was painless and very pleasant as usual.
We were given room 44 which has the exact same layout of many of the other rooms we have stayed in, living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and large patio area with table chairs and sun loungers.
Ongoing improvements being made and yet again we felt very safe and secure in the complex.
Food and drink prices at the pool bar are very reasonable and well worth using. Gloria who runs the bar is a lovely woman who remembers everyone.
Loads of great bars and restaurants very close to the complex so that saves a fortune in taxis etc.
Hot water in the room is supplied from a free standing boiler and in this room we found this to take a wee bit longer to heat up than we are used to. Normally leaving it for 30 minutes after one person showers, washes her hair etc. hahaha allows it to heat up enough for a second shower. This time we found the shower run slightly cold before finishing second shower. Just remember this and work to it and you will have no problems.
The bar area in front of the entrance is excellent and my wife loved the strawberry daiquiri she had, saying it was one of the best she has had.
As always, happy to recommend this hotel, go and enjoy.

Visited this hotel about 14 years or so ago and don’t think a thing has changed bar the added restaurant and moved reception area. if your looking for a good location to be near puerto colon and san eugene this is ideal- also ideal for larger families with kids and younger kids who want to stay in one apartment without a high balcony for safety reasons. However it needs to be updated and maintenance need to sort it out
Has downstairs toilet and upstairs bathroom. The pool is nice and quite warm in comparison to most Iv visited. Nice sunloungers round pool and decent pool bar menu at reasonable prices. The downstairs restaurant do a nice breakfast €3 and larger one €5 which is good value just a bit slow service! We saw a couple of people leave as they were waiting so long. Please note you aren’t allowed to take own drinks or food to pool area only allowed to purchase pool bar items so if your on a budget as a family bear that in mind.

The shower curtain kept falling down and was cheap stick to you material! All the taps need descaling! Although seems reasonably clean on a surface level, It’s very dated and worn out! Beds are quite uncomfortable- okay for a week but looking forward to my own! The terrace area for our apartment was so dated, broken flooring, very worn out table and chairs. Bathroom mirror broken, toilet seat chipped. The cleaners came every other day but skipped one day for some reason? They need to give you more towels as the shower is next to the toilet and because the shower curtains so rubbish all the water goes everywhere so need more towels to mop it all up! Otherwise lethal slippery concrete floor to contend with so be aware to ask for extra towels

Some broken fittings, no cover on downstairs toilet window so people can see straight in. As I say great location and couple good bars for couples around, not so much family bars you have to go a little further.

Booked for a 5 day break, did not expect much however check in was really easy excellent customer service the receptionist explained every thing to us. we booked a studio with its own wrap around patio, with table chairs, bbq, sun loungers it was very big. the studio it self was very Spanish but spotlessly clean cooker brand new, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle. all you needed water was boiling every time you turned the tap on. the towels were pure white and the bed sheets, house keeping come in which was a nice surprise and replenished. lovely bathroom very modern overall extremely satisfied, for a 2 star I have stayed in worse 3 star hotels than this.
dont let the prices worry you the resort was spotless, pool area very comfortable all social distancing was in place nice bar that also supplied snacks. service brilliant i am booking to go back in November.

Liked · Value for price! Extremely cheap, 30 euros for room, and we had been upgraded to the apartment (Originally we booked room without kitchen). The staff ladies were super nice and helpful. There is a bar by the pool that offers some basic snacks and drinks.
Disliked · 1. The smell in the room was quite bad we had to open the windows during the whole night and it still did not help. 2. The fridge was quite old or maybe broken and it made a lot of noise during the night. 3. Lack of very basic things like soap or dishwashing liquid, coming for 3 nights only it made no sense to buys such things.

Each to their own, but would not return. Can get a lot better value for money and better location in Costa Adeje. No air con which meant the room was too hot, even in December, so would be unbearable in the hotter months. We paid for an upgrade to a studio and the room was very disappointing - dated, grubby and very basic amenities unless you pay extra (safe, WiFi and hairdryer are extra). We stayed for 6 nights and the maid only came once. We went to reception straight after we checked in to explain what a disappointment it was and they did offer us a different room which was marginally better. The reception staff couldn’t have been better to be fair to them; they gave us complimentary WiFi and safe because we were so upset at what we paid vs the quality of the accommodation. Also, if you visit in the winter months, the sun is low so only half the pool gets sun after mid afternoon and there aren’t enough beds for everyone to get sun. If you want value for money, look elsewhere.

I stayed at the tinerfe garden apartments in late September/October of 2022. As a couple.

To start. When we arrived the lady on the desk was very helpful. Although after checking in we had a long walk to our apartment up lots of slopes and steps ( we was top row) then when we got to the apartment we could not get in but we finally got help after having to walk back down to reception.

The apartments was a big apartment, very spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, big fridge freezer, bathroom, living and bedroom space and a big balcony . It had everything we needed for our stay but it was very dated and needs a refurb. It was although very clean and maids came to clean most days with fresh towels and bedding ( there was also no aircon and lack of plug sockets)

The pool was a great size for the apartments , very clean pool and pool area and we never struggled to get a lounger. There was a snack bar at the pool which was affordable with drinks, cocktails and snacks and some hot food. Although it did close very early.

The apartments are around a 15 minute walk from the closest beach, shops and bars near by, and playa de las americas was about 15 minute walk away too.there is also a restaurant at the apartments which we didn’t eat at but looked very nice with a large menu.
I would definitely return to tinerfe gardens as a good budget Option for Tenerife .

It might be luck of the draw, I'm afraid. When I stayed last month, the rooms were very clean (if dated). However, I'm aware others have stayed in rooms that weren't as good a standard. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful though, so you might be able to switch rooms if there are any major issues

My booking confirmation received 2 days ago says we have to show a negative covid certificate for entry to the accommodation (and all Canary Islands accommodation) Is this still a requirement please or is the booking confirmation form out of date? This is what the confirmation states... Your booking has been confirmed. Thanks for choosing Apartamentos Tinerfe Garden. To maintain the Canary Islands’ low incident rate for the pandemic and guarantee the sustainability of our tourist activity, all visitors over the age of six who are not arriving from Canary Islands must present a certificate that is officially recognised by the healthcare authorities to show that they have tested negative for active COVID-19 infection in the past 72 hours. This certificate will be required to check in this and any other tourist accommodation in the islands. You may show a digital or hard copy of it and it must contain the date and time the test was taken, the identity of the individual taking it, the laboratory responsible for verification and the nature of the laboratory, and the negative result. This certificate will not be required for non-residents who show proof (in the form of a travel document) that they have been in Canary Islands territory for the 15 days prior to the date they are checking into this tourist accommodation and that they have not had any symptoms of COVID-19 during that time. Canary Islands residents must show proof that they are such and declare, under their own responsibility, that they have not left Canary Islands in the 15 days prior to arriving at this establishment and that they have not had any symptoms of COVID-19 during that time. This tourist accommodation will deny entry to anyone who does not comply with the above conditions.

80% of it is ground floor, but it's built on a steep incline and honestly, the place is just a mess. You'll get more than ants in the place, it's filthy
