Hotel Villa de Adeje Beach is often commended for its prime location, nestled close to beaches, dining, and attractions, making it a convenient base for exploration. While many guests appreciate the hotel's cleanliness and the spaciousness of the rooms, reviews are mixed regarding value due to extra fees for amenities like Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
The staff is frequently cited as friendly, though some visitors have noted slow bar service. Despite being family-friendly with enjoyable entertainment, the hotel's atmosphere and decor receive mixed reactions.

Detailed Reviews
My wife and I stayed for a week at this hotel for my 50th. Originally due to go to Fuerteventura but as the flight was on the 14th we were lucky enough to get it changed to here so we didn’t have to fork out for the COVID Test
Receptionist met us with a big smile and took time to explain everything regrading the hotel with new covid regulations
Hotel provided free bottle of champers for my birthday. Nice touch
Room was spotless you pay a refundable deposit for tv remote and air con remote and 2 euro a day for the safe. Could get safe to work and they had someone up within minutes to sort this. As per previous comments Beds are firm not hard and we had no problems sleeping on them
In the restaurant you are assigned a table and that is your table for the duration of your stay. Food was cooked well and the breakfast was great good fry up every morning to start the day off.
There was plenty of sun beds at the two pools but as hotel had small amount of quests this would be expected one pool is heated the other isn’t.
Bar staff are brilliant working longs hours and always with a smile on their faces Don’t be shy and drop them a few euro every now and then
Due to the numbers in the hotel there was no evening entertainment but was always music playing to keep you going.
Hotel is in good location with plenty of shops bars and restaurants near by and good stretch of the legs you can walk to playas de las americas or los cristianos if your feeling energetic
Would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend

Dear George Derry, What a lovely and authentic review you have left about your last holiday experience at our hotel: we are simply delighted to learn that you had a wonderful stay at our hotel and that you are planning to come back in a very near future! We are glad to see that you appreciated the free bottle of cava in order to celebrate your birthday in style. We are very proud of our hard working and friendly staff who is always trying to go the extra mile for all of our guests. You clearly enjoyed the high standards of cleanliness, the high quality of foods on offer, the spacious pool area, the nice athmosphere in general and of course our unbeatable location right in the heart of astonishing Costa Adeje. We want to say thank you: it was a real pleasure taking care of you, and we send you a warm greeting out of the Canary Islands. Kind regards, The Hotel Manager

I stayed at this hotel with my parents and my children for two weeks from the 18th of July 2020. Obviously this was in the middle of the pandemic so I’m sure what we experienced was not the normal day to day running’s of the hotel. Check in was straight forward and the hotel had left some food and water in the room fridge as we had arrived after the restaurant had closed (we were on an all inclusive basis). The rooms were a decent size and clean, you had to pay €35 for the remotes for the tv and the air conditioning unit (this was refunded at the end of your trip) this was unusual as I’ve never had to pay for remotes before in an all inclusive hotel. We were issued a specific table at meal times in the restaurant to help avoid cross contamination but this was a great idea. When the hotel got a little busier we also had to select a time slot for our meals too, again this was a great idea as there was no worry about trying to find a table at meal times (wish hotels would keep this format even after the pandemic). The food was ok, similar to most all inclusive hotels i have been to but could have been warmer (they do have a microwave available if needed). The pools were great and were quiet due to the limited number of visitors, I do feel like it could become very crowded if the hotel had been anywhere close to capacity. We were asked to use the same sun loungers during our stay which again was a great idea but unlike the tables in the restaurant there was no way for new arrivals to know which loungers has already been taken. The loungers were free to use but if you wanted a canopy or a soft mat for the lounger you had to pay daily (€2 each per day) given that there was 7 of us, it did become quite costly. I’ve never been to a hotel where you have had to pay for these services.
Entertainment was limited but this was a pandemic issue as apposed to hotel issue.
The hotel was located a small walk from the beach and the local aqua park.
The cleaning service left a little to be desired as towels were changed quite infrequently (every other day, no service at all on a Sunday). I’m one of those sad people who like to run on holiday on a morning so the towels were getting used 4 times before they were being changed. Again never had this issue in an all inclusive hotel before.

Dear shellysunshine, Thank you for your opinion about your last holiday experience at our hotel. It's good for us to see what you liked, and what aspects you think we can still improve on. We are happy to see that you had a good holiday: you enjoyed our late evening meal inside your room upon arrival, the decent size of our apartments, the strict Covid-19 safety measures inside our restaurant, the buffets, the pool area, the quality of our foods, etc. The remote controls are indeed free of charge, but we keep a refundable deposit that you get back during check-out time. You pointed correctly out that the sun loungers are free of charge, but we indeed charge 2€ for a parasol or mattress. Cleaning service is indeed 6 days on 7, and towels are indeed changed twice a week normally. All these informations we also clearly state on our website and also when making the reservation through your travel agent. We are glad to see that you enjoyed our unbeatable location and that you appreciated our entertainment on offer. We thank you for your opinion, and to point out where we could make our hotel even better. We send you some kind regards, and we hope that you give us another chance in order to convince you to the fullest of our facilities.

Stayed for the new year , reception were a little bit rude but the rest of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Drinks were fine considering it’s all inclusive ( definitely not short on measures) The food was really good if a little repetitive.
Pool area is plenty big enough and we always found a bed , pool was freezing though, including the heated one !
Location is fine as long as you can manage a bit of a climb back up the hill ( nothing too strenuous)
Only negative.
We had 2 rooms both booked at the same time and both paid the same
Room 1
On the 7th floor with lovely sea views and plenty of sunshine, couldn’t fault it
Room 2
On the 2nd floor which is basically under ground , no view whatsoever, room was dark all day long and the noise from the adjacent walkways was unbearable. Never mind the thoughtless people who would be shouting each other at all hours , banging doors and even letting their kids kick footballs against the walls at 7am !
We asked twice to be moved but we’re told the hotel was full to capacity.
I would recommend this hotel and even return myself but ONLY if I was staying above the 4th floor (that’s ground level)
I would even happily pay more to secure a higher floor.

Dear Dannycoleshill, We would like to thank you for your review about our hotel. We're glad to see that overall you had a good time at our hotel: you enjoyed the foods and good size of our drinks, our big pool area and our unbeatable location. We feel sorry that you found one of the views of your apartments wasn't to your taste and that some other guests were disrespectful early in the morning. Please kindly be advised that by ringing our Reception, they can send the security guard to solve any inconveniences. With New Year our hotel is always completely fully booked so it might indeed take a couple of day before we have something free higher up: please be kindly advised that we don't sell any specific views and that all requests are under availability. Please before arriving for your next holidays, let us know before by email what your preferences are: we'll do our very best for you. In meantime we send you a warm greeting of out Tenerife!

We arrived at 9.00pm on the 25th July, we had a warm welcome from a happy receptionist, we were asked to fill in a form for each member of our family, our oxygen levels and temperature were checked and logged on the forms, we were given our cards to our rooms and we were told the dining room was still open for us. We put put luggage away and went to the dining room, we were allocated a table for our whole stay which was great table 16 was great near the bar for drinks and near where they were serving the food, we knew that things would be a bit different with the all inclusive but it wasn't that bad at all, we pointed to what we wanted and we were served our choices, food was limited choice but always something to eat, what did let it down was the lack of desserts this selection was really rubbish :(.
Our rooms were brilliant loads of room and storage and a massive bathroom. We loved the room and the balcony that was facing Mount Teide.
Drinks were fantastic here a very good choice of liquors, a nice lager on tap drinks all served from 10am to 11pm.
Snack bar was good, snack from 10am to 1pm and then 4pm to 6pm hotdogs, burgers, sandwiches, toasties and pizza and little pots of ice cream served until 6pm.
All staff were great with us a special mention to Fermin, Jose, Carlos, Ivana, Danny and Fran these guys were great and made our holiday thank you :)
All amenities are close by this hotel a lovely 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the shops, there are shops over the road where you could get cigarettes and souvenirs but the super markets were a good 5 minute walk away.
Hotel provided plenty of hand sanitiser and was extremely clean, our room smelled amazing every time the cleaner had been in and was scrubbed 6 out of 7 days.
We were having an amazing holiday until jet2 forced us to go home 8 days into our 11 night holiday, the time we did stay at Hotel Villa De Adeje Beach were lovely and enjoyable and we were sorry we had to go home :(.
Our kids loved the pools and it was a great idea to have artificial grass around the pools and surrounding areas so no slipping and falling over.
We met some lovely people here who were also in the same boat as us being sent home early, My one complaint has nothing at all to do with the hotel but 3 times I waited for the jet2 rep and he never showed up, we had lots of questions about our early return home but he was a complete no show, not telling reception that he wasn't coming :(
All in all we love Tenerife and Costa Adeje and this hotel was brilliant, we will definitely return.

So we originally booked to go to New York on 27th November 2020 for my birthday as I had always wanted to see the huge rockerfelka centre Christmas tree. Obviously it was cancelled. Then because America only opened 8th Nov and 3 tests to take we decided not to go. Hence we ended up in Costa Adeje for some sun and a totally relaxing week. That's exactly what we got.
We arrived at the hotel after 2.30 so lunch had finished and the snack bar didn't open til 4pm so reception gave us a slip to take to the pool bar where they would make us some food, which they did.
WE had opted for a 1 bed apt which was very clean and huge. The baths have been replaced with a large walk in shower which was great. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer/shelf space and patio doors in both living area and bedroom opened onto a large balcony. We got one overlooking the pool and sea. (room 407 which is on same floor as reception and bar and 1 min walk to pool and dining room and main entrance).
Food is what you expect for 3 star, there was always choice at all mealtimes, fresh cooked fish, steak, pork and chicken plus other hot dishes and veg and of course salad bar. So many people these days when paying all inclusive expect so much food and so much choice. You can only eat so much food.
Drinks are good, hubby was happy as beer was always cold even round pool bar, served in plastic cups as you would expect. Nice wine, large glasses of it too lol and then usual spirits rum, vodka etc. Cocktails are extra but I didn't miss having them. Plenty of bars outside if you fancy a cocktail. At evening meal it is self service at the bar but never a queue.
Last of all the staff-what can I say. I have never been in an hotel where all staff have worked so hard and are so polite and friendly. I've never seen such a professional looking bunch as these lot.
I had to go to reception to ask them to print boarding passes and passenger locator forms... 3 times I went to same man on reception and he was so helpful. I apologised for going to him a 3rd time and he said its no problem we are just pleased to have you all back. Bless.
Things to know, mattresses for sunbed 2 euros a day, parasol 2 euros, 25 euros for safe which you got 6 back, and I think 15 euros each to hire remote for air con and TV and a kettle which you get back but we didn't hire these.
You will need to take beach towels as well but a supermarket across the road does 3 for 10 euros.
We would definitely come back to this hotel.

We love this hotel, the location is fantastic as are the staff, this was our 2nd visit here and we requested a pool view room which we got as we did last time, the apartment was spotless and the views are fab spent many hours sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine! Pool are is great, tidy and never much of a que for the bar (hint take your own insulated cup which they will happily fill for you!) drinks are fine local beer and spirts. Food is good quite samey but great quality and always fresh, lots of cheap places to eat out very locally if required. Shops, bars and restaurants all on the door stop, 5 minute walk to the beach a tiny bit of a hill on the way back but it is so manageable especially knowing a cold drink will be available at the bar!! can’t wait to come back, just sending our thoughts for the place over the next few weeks/months hope all is ok and we will be back as soon as we can 😊☀️

Just returned from an 8 night family holiday with my husband and 3 daughters age 10,12 and 16.
This is my second time at the hotel but first time as a family.
Due to Covid the buffet is set out differently and they serve you instead of self serve.
The hotel is extremely clean with rooms being cleaned daily and the hotel is constantly cleaned through out the day.
If you are looking for a welcoming clean hotel with great service and good god and drink choices on all inclusive for a good price then this is the hotel for you. It’s allocated a 5 minute walk away from Aqualand and a 10 minute taxi ride from Jungle park which cost €11 for the 5 of us.
Due to Covid the down point was that it was extremely quiet in the hotel and the local area which took away a bit of atmosphere but we used this as a plus point and didn’t have to wait for service anywhere or que.
All in all we had a fantastic time and will be returning to Villa Adeje Beach Hotel

A plesant hotel. It has a cold and warm swimming pools. You have to take your own towel, hotel does not provide. Loungers have no cushioning just bare hard plastic. If you wanted to put the cushioning, its chargeable.
The rooms above level 4 are spacious. A room on a higher grounds have a sea view.
The lobby bar serves drinks until 2300, which is included in the all inclusive but after that they start charging. Cheaper to drink out.
Entertainment was rather boring, maybe the time we went.
Food was ok, the grilled Salmon was raw. The chefs on the grill were rushing leaving some food uncooked.

Ok honest review after just returning , I gave the hotel a 3 star but it’s a good 3 star , the rooms very large and were cleaned every day the beds were Rock hard to lie on but tbh I didn’t mind them ,we had a balcony with a bit of a disappointing view, the bathroom was large with a good shower as well .
The location of the hotel was good with plenty of shops and restaurants around should you wish to eat out but it was a bit of a hill down to the beach .
The hotel itself was spotlessly clean it is a little dated but everything is kept up to the staff work very hard they were pleasant and polite anything we asked for at reception promptly arrived , I’m surprised to hear of a dirty bed or warm drinks we certainly didn’t encounter this , our bed was made despite us making it and no complaints regarding drinks .
The pool area was good the pools were heated and you could easily swim in them they were great it could get a bit crowded but we always found a bed .
The hotel put on entertainment every night and around the pool everyday .
The one thing it could improve upon was the food , it wasn’t terrible and their was always something to eat but it was a little repetitive ( especially puddings ) and it did lack a veggie main dish but it did provide microwaves if you wanted to warm your food up .
All in all it is what it is a 3 star hotel but it’s very well run and is certainly trying it’s best I would certainly go back

Dear stevenfV8751SJ, Thank you very much for your nice review and well balanced observations about your last holiday experience at our hotel and we're so glad to see that you found our hotel to be a good 3 star hotel. You clearly appreciated the spacious apartments, the extreme high standards of cleanliness, our pleasant and service minded staff, our heated pool and lovely pool area where there was always some free sunbeds to find. We kindly take note of your helpful remark about the puddings and the fact that you would have loved some more vegetarian options: these constructive remarks help us to make even better our hotel, so a big thank you for this! Feel free to ask for some topper mattresses to be put upon you beds during your next visit, we'll be more than happy to assure you a great holiday again at our hotel. :) Kind regards, The Hotel Management

from the outside this looks a really nice hotel. the apartments were functional and spacious, we will start with there, we enjoy a siesta on an afternoon and this coincided with the cleaners coming, the first couple of days we just took the towels. then we asked for them to clean between 12 and 1pm. that worked except for the fact that they didnt mop or clean the basin. after 3 days i saw that we had company in the form of a cockroach, i told reception and whe we came back after lunch there was a canester of cockroach spray left in the room, why i dont know. 2 days later my wife found another one and killed it, the reception were .......not too bothered. the food was fine but only warm so the microwaves were busy. we went all inclusive but cocktails came from a machine, if you wanted one made you were charged for it.
the entertainment was dire, the two singers spent more time with their heads in their ipads reading the words than looking at the audiance and the magician was one of the worst i have ever seen. a total waste of an evening, you could see all the tricks up his sleeves. we spent more time and money in the local pubs with so much better turns. and the language barrier was huge. and lastly the pools were freezing. so a second visit here is not on the horizon....ever.

Dear tom c, We feel sorry that you didn't enjoy too much your stay at our hotel during your last visit. We feel sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We feel sorry that you never informed our Reception about the fact that you would have preferred the cleaners to enter your room on a different time: we weren't aware of the fact that specific time lapse was always inconvenient to you. On a very punctual moment that a cockroach crossed your path, something that unfortunately not even one hotel on the Canary Islands can avoid 100% for sure, we have a standard procedure we follow. We send our Housekeeping department (or at night our Security staff) to your room, we eliminate the cockroach, we clean the area involved and as a courtesy we leave a spray for your peace of mind. We feel sorry you couldn't appreciate this, and that you might have misinterpreted our gesture of goodwill. Our buffets are strictly controlled and monitored several times a day in order to assure a correct temperature of the foods on offer. The microwaves are there as a courtesy for customers who really like their foods to be on cooking/boiling temperature. Our included cocktails in the Bar Hall are indeed premixed, and a charge applies if you want your cocktails to be freshly handmade. The entertainment team tries to please as much people as possible, but we fully agree with you that tastes might differ and we feel sorry again that our program wasn't pleasing you too much. All of our staff speaks in first place Spanish (kindly remind that we are still in Spain), and also English as a foreign language. We even dare to say that our Reception staff speaks English perfectly. We don't really understand why you experienced such a huge language barrier in a hotel that isn't even located in your home country? We have two pools, and one is heated all year round. Maybe you only tried the not heated one? Even in full winter time people enjoy a nice swim over here in our hotel. We feel sorry that we didn't meet your expectations and -however sincerely regretting this- we have a slight feeling we will never meet these either in your personal case. We wish you all he best and very kind regards out of Costa Adeje.

Hi last time we was there it was a parrot show, flame dancers, salsa dancing! Reptiles! Bit bad really
There's steps and ladders in bigger pool smaller pool just ladders
There are steps into the pools. The main pool the steps are pretty wide which would probably help more with being disabled
You can upgrade to international spirits per drink by paying and the draught beer is dorada
I would recommend coming to this hotel, the rooms aren't really new but they do the job and the food is fine, there's always something for everyone. The pool bar has all the drinks, ice cream, hotdogs, burgers, pizza, toasties and bottles of water.
