We have just returned from our first family holiday and we were luckily enough to stay at Pueblo Torviscas. Our room was huge and spotlessly clean comprising a large balcony with sea view, kitchen/living room, bedroom and bathroom. No air con but we didn’t need at this time of year at all and were perfectly comfortable at night and day. The premises are beautiful, well maintained and clean. The sunbeds can currently be booked for a morning or afternoon slot and are cleaned at lunch. This is such a good system as it stops people hogging for an entire day meaning we never couldn’t get a sunbed where we wanted, even if we hadn’t booked. There was no construction noise heard when we were there as previous posters mentioned. Shout out to the the lovely staff both within the reception building and staff who made our trip so easy with a boisterous one year old. Location is perfect for anyone who doesn’t want a car. We hired one for the day to see the rest of the island but you don’t need one. We will certainly be back and would never normally return to the same place twice!

Several apartments being refurbished around the pool area. Horrendous noise levels, all day! Jigger pickers, hammering banging. Far from relaxing time. Worst of all, no one will take responsibility, they just pass the book and expect you to put up with it. Have booked for Christmas and new year but will be changing accommodation as soon as I get home. Customer service is not existant

my wife and i booked this holiday but soon realised that the main 'hotel/resort' is the sunset harbour resort by Dimond resorts - the accommodation is exactly the same inside the main gated resort the only difference is that pueblo torviscas operate from a small back room to the rear of the main reception. the studio rooms are well equipped but a little outdated, however there was an active refurbishment program ongoing during our stay as such there was a little noise but not over bearing, those who only ventured around the pool would notice it and may not like it. the resort is possibly the closest to the beach area and beach night life so it can get a little noisy at night but the refurbishment includes the adding of double glazing which should help. our only complaint would be the total lack of air conditioning, with the temps in the mid 30's this did result in very hot sticky / sweaty nights and the mattress had plastic protector sheets on which made this much worse, the ceiling fans did nothing to alleviate this in fact they were probably useless as they only circulated hot air. the 'golden' question is would we return - the simple answer is yes but with Sunset Harbour resort and with a couple of small fans in our luggage and booking a 1 bed apartment rather than the studio apartment. very clean and tidy resort with friendly staff and 2 good restaurants and 1 separate pool bar

Excellent stay during this strange time. Felt more safer here than back in the uk. Temperature and hand sanitiser entering the complex and pool area. Have to get off sun bed at 1.30pm for them to be cleaned, I actually think booking the sun bed and them being in the location they are in is a great idea. Thanks for a great stay and hopefully be back soon.
