The rooms are perfect as are the balcony’s the staff are all amazing and do a fantastic job. Entertainment near the bars is great we wouldn’t use any other apartments in Costa adeje after visiting here, we last went in may and was planning on visiting again November but have rebooked for August as an extra trip we can’t wait to get back.

I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Sunset Bay Club between the 17th July and the 24th July. I had also stayed here for 4 nights in July 2019 however didn't leave a review then but both times were fantastic.
In terms of preparation for health and safety guidelines regarding COVID, they've done excellently. There are hand sanitiser points around the complex and they check your internal temperature with a temperature prior to entering the complex. They have clear markings around the resort to ensure distance guidelines are maintained and they did a fantastic job ensuring people remained safe. For me, there were no worries about anything spreading.
As for the resort itself, the apartments are spacious and modern. I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment and had plenty of room where I could sleep comfortably, eat in the dining area, well-maintained seating furniture and plenty of balcony space to sunbath or relax.
I didn't visit the pool this time around, being a solo traveller it didn't appeal to me but they did have precautions in place where you needed to book a slot and from what I saw, it never looked too busy. The two pools are of good size and from previous times I've been here, well maintained.
The staff were all lovely. From the reception staff who thoroughly explained the new precautions as well as where I was staying to the member of staff who would stand in 30c heat all day wearing a face mack and protector to take your temperature. Compared to other records on the Island I've stayed in, the staff here are second to none.
There are a couple of restaurants, bars and shops on the resort which made getting essentials easy. I didn't use the restaurant's as preferred to visit other areas but the ones opened during my stay seemed nice and from the previous time I visited, they were friendly.
The location is great! Just around the corner from an area that's usually rife with bars, restaurants and shops. A lot was closed during my stay but enough was open that I could eat out at a different place every day. It's about a 5-minute walk from the beach and unlike some area's of Tenerife, it isn't too steep to walk back up to the complex.
I didn't stay much in the resort so can't comment on the activities which they may have had in the day however with the current circumstances, I imagine the day time activities were limited.
I stayed in block J which required walking up a couple of flights of stairs. This didn't bother me as I'm in quite good shape but might be an issue for elderly people or those with walking difficulties.
Overall I loved my stay, even more so the second time around. Looking to come back again in October and will be booking with Sunset Bay Club again.

We have just returned from a 6 night stay at Sunset Bay Club. Here is my honest review.
Arrival: We arrived shortly after 9:30pm and was checked in and shown to our apartment by 9:50pm. Checking was quick and efficient and I'd like to give a special mention to Oliver for this.
Room: I booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 adults (even though there was only 2 of us staying there, it was £20 more than the studio via Booking .com
The apartment was in Block K which is directly opposite the lower pool. A large living area with double sofa bed, TV, coffee tables, lamps and a dining table and 4 chairs Kitchen was fully equipped with fridge/freezer/microwave/oven/hob/voffeemachibe and dishwasher.what else would you need for a weeks stay?.
A large balcony over looking the lower pool, with 2 sun loungers, a parsol and a large table and chairs.
Bathroom: Lovely shower with good temperature water. Plenty of towels. Large mirror.
Bedroom: Large double bed, really comfy abd lots of pillows. Excellent air conditioning which was a god send as it was really hot in the day. Tv on wall, which we never turned on (who goes on holiday to watch TV?). An ipod docking station which we hooked up to our phone to enjoy some music on the balcony of an evening
We chose to stay here because it was close to where our friends live and we were visiting for a surlrise birthday celebration - however, I would definitely come back to Sunset because it was close to amenities, the staff were lovely and the apartments were exceptionally clean. Here are a couple of recommendations: Avoid block D (you will be right over the pub and its noisy until after midnight) Book Block E, F or K
There are 2 pools, one lower pool which is bigger and one at the back of the apartmwnts which is smaller, but has a jacuzzi. We preferred the lower poolas there was more of an atmosphere. When going to the lower pool, please go a d see Liz and Curly who run the English pool bar. They are absolutely fantastic and their food is just amazing.. I recommend the double breakfast and the toasties!
Obviously we are hoing through a global pandemic so there is bound to be some restrictions here and there. The pool area was only bookable for 3hr sessions, once per room BUT the pool guys will accommodate you where and when they can. We stayed around the pool for 6hrs a day for most of our time there.
Other helpful hints: Taxi from the airport was €24 You have to pay a €100 damage deposit, but you get it back within 7 days of departure. Remember that most of these guys have been out of work for almost 5 months with very little goverment support, please tip where and when you can - it really will be appreciated. Go and visit Joyce Bar on Veronica strip (its a €7 taxi ride from apartments). Family friendly and Donna does the most amazing Pornstar Martinis (Tell her Laura sent you).

We normally go to las americas however we knew how quiet it was so changed it. I am so glad we did . We had a fab apartment with 2 bathrooms 2 bedrooms and a huge terrace . It was well equipped with everything you need really . Due to covid the pool had 2 slots morning and afternoon but it was quiet enough that you usually got to both . They disinfected the full area in the morning ( we watched from the balcony ) then again at lunchtime for 30 mins. There are 2 pools . We preferred the bottom one although it was freezing whereas the top once was heated. The bottom pool bar is run by Liz and Curly and they are fab hosts with great food and drink . The management closed the gate over from the pool to the bar ( seemingly due to covid) so you had to walk round and upstairs . Thought this was pretty pointless but we were just happy to be there . The pool staff were lovely especially Lydia. In fact all the staff in the complex and surrounding areas were just so nice and grateful for your business . The only downside to this complex was the stairs and the steep hills up and down to the rooms . If you have walking difficulties I would let them know in advance . The area around the complex was probably one of the busiest with all the pubs and restaurants open . Good choice all round . If we come back to this area we would definitely come to the Sunset

This will be our 4th time back at this hotel and certainly will not be the last.
We felt completely safe at this complex with the measures they have put in place regarding Covid 19.
Rooms are spotless and now include free water drinking facilities in the room, large variety of food and drink options, staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Entertainment at the bars is fantastic!
During the daytime we spent most of our time at the top pool and the bar staff who run the pool bar are so welcoming and friendly. During these difficult times you do need to book an am or pm time slot at the pool the pool attendant we had on a daily basis was called Alex, he is a great entertainer and always more than happy to help you with anything you require help with. Will miss playing Bingo Bango Bongo in the afternoons!
Everything you need is within walking distance of the hotel and we can’t wait to come back!

I had a very good 3 weeks at Sunset Bay. Straight away the location was central to everything from bars , restaurants and supermarkets and no more than 5 mins from the beaches. The staff were welcoming and went above and beyond to make myself and others feel safe by persistently following Covid precautions. Especially Alex who always had a smile on his face and made sure we were looked after and was constantly going above and beyond to make sure everyone was cared for by organising the sunbeds by the pool, keeping sunbeds cleaned and regular temperature checks taken while always making everyone laugh which everyone appreciated. The local bars and restaurants near the reception were great especially Tracy and Chris from Millers Corner who wear always there to cater to our needs regardless what they were , always had great food , drinks and entertainment and were welcoming from day 1. The only negative I have is the WiFi from the apartment i was at wasnt great and regularly disconnected but this could be the location of my apartment near the square. Overall I enjoyed my stay at sunset bay as it offers everything from good location , entertainment , great staff and good rooms.

We are just back from a 3 week holiday to Sunset Bay Club Tenerife...the accommodation was great, although the rooms we only cleaned 3 time (towels changed more regularly). The resort was clear and regular checks on guest temperature carried out daily, face masked worn around the resort and surrounding areas. The pool area was disinfected 3 times a day and Alex the pool attendant was an absolute star, making sure everybody was safe and enjoying their time around the pool. The reception staff were very professional and again the whole check in process felt very safe. If you can self isolate then in my opinion you are safe in Tenerife to enjoy a very different but nevertheless fantastic holiday.

Great one bedroomed apartment with every utensil you’ll ever need. Very clean but walls are paper thin and you can hear every chair screech and every footstep in the block. Four pubs on site along with another 3 eateries but beware the Sunbed situation! I have never experienced anything like it, booking your Sunbed for a morning or afternoon session. They have a turn around period where they literally boot you off so they can disinfect the pool. Sounds good for your health but I never saw them actually disinfecting it, which means it’s more of a ploy to force you into a restaurant on site for an hour. This seems to be the theme of the hotel, charging you for a time slot on anything you want to do. No one seems to pick up on the absolute scam of kicking you out of your room at 10am on the day you’re leaving! They charge you twenty euros to stay in your room until 12pm (that’s the standard time of nearly every hotel I’ve ever stayed at, stealth tax) I do t k ow if there’s some sort of timeshare at the hotel but I noticed people getting treated a lot better if they were using points? Just for scamming you out of 20 euros on the day of checkout is enough not to make me want to stay there again. There’s plenty more hotels nearby that don’t have almost dictatorship rules, which you really don’t need on a relaxing holiday.

This was our first time to sunset bay. We had to wear masks in all enclosed areas. Hand sanitiser stations spread throughout the complex and our temps taken on returning back and pool entry. Arrival, check in and finding our room all went smoothly as expected. Our intention was to stay for 4 nights and move on to see more of Tenerife. Well we ended up extending to 13 nights. Location is brilliant with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. There’s a convenience store right next door or an express supermarket a few minutes walk. All the staff at the hotel are lovely. You had to book at reception for both the pools. Distancing and cleanliness was well monitored. We mainly used the bottom pool as more room for the boys to swim. Room was very spacious & clean, complex clean & staff lovely helpful and friendly. My only complaint was their would be a smell coming from the bathroom but with 3 boys..🤣 We would definitely return.

Been coming here for many years, i was really impressed with all the things they put into place because of Covid. Temperature checks, Sanitizing machines, having to book your sunbed round the pool, 3 slots a day, great idea, I hope they continue to do this in the future. As usual the staff are so pleasant and helpful, from Reception to the Lifeguards and the pool bar staff. I have to say the Lifeguards and pool attendant work so hard making sure all the beds are sanitized during each slot. Our room was probably one of the best ones we have ever had, 1 bedroom with amazing views. Towels are only changed once during a 1 week stay, wasn't a problem for us. I love this place, it's my second home and I can't wait to go back.

Hi, we stayed in a top floor apartment and the large balcony was perfectly safe, but with a one year old I’d suggest asking for a ground floor room maybe.
I don’t know about a high chair or a cot so maybe clarify this direct with Sunset Bay Club. Enjoy 👍
