Just arrived home after 2 weeks, this is our 2nd visit to these apartments, 1st time 2017. 1st time we stayed self catering, this time the price was better B&B. The apartment (1brm) was is fine, nothing fancy, cooking facilties, kettle,.fridge. Room clean, no complaints had a apartment (room B3-2 I think) with a view of pool from bedroom which had a set of double doors, which was nice to keep open during night as on 2nd floor and a tiny balcony, the main balcony on back of the apartment. The cleaners came every day and changed bedding 3 times in 2 weeks and towels changed what seemed like every other day. The pool area is good, lots of sunbeds which was good as you always get those that come out b4 7.30am to place their towel down and turn up to the pool in the afternoon, which isn't necessary or right. But I think the hotel should tell them but like inside plenty of beds still to use,. The food for breakfast was spot on, they have 2 restaurants one for those B&B and evening meal and one for those who are just breakfast, so never really busy when hotel full. The choice was great, bacon, sausages, eggs scrambled and fried, omelets, loads of fruit, great choice of bread and a pancake machine. Teas, coffee juice. The staff on reception very nice and helpful will book your trips too The hotel has an indoor play area nr pool for kids. a pool table, Gym and shower room, which was handy as we could shower b4 we left as we had a late flight home. (Check-out 12pm) there is also a self service laundrette €5 which includes softener and washing liquid. You can also leave your luggage in the storage room near reception. Only 5 mins downhill to the beach and 10mins right of hotel to El Duque beach, which was our favourite as no huts playing music, can get busy but much better. The main beach Playa Fañabe is nice like I said a few huts playing music, they also have those double beds you can hire and sunbeds, not sure on price though.

Visited this hotel late August 2021 and first impressions were very pleasing. Polite staff, hassle free check in despite the extra checks on vaccine status and locator form. Room was very spacious and clean although a little dated. We knew there wasn't air con but thought the ceiling fans would be adequate. How wrong we were. This hotel needs to seriously consider having air con installed as the rooms were ridiculously hot. The fans did not offer any comfort to the heat and sleeping was very difficult. We were half board and having sampled two breakfasts and two evening meals, we decided to eat out for the rest of the holiday. Very limited choice and the quality was only average even for a 3*. Despite the air con and the average standard meals the hotel is well situated for bars and restaurants. the beach and shops. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned regularly. the pool area was clean, sunbeds plentiful and cleaned down directly after use. All in all a nice hotel, pleasant staff, good location but the lack of air con and the food let this hotel down which is a shame.

Spent a week at the Parque del Sol, the swimming pool area is good, but that is the only positive I can write about these apartments. We were allocated Apartment I 2.7 on arrival, on entering the apartment it was self evident that it needed a full refurbishment. All the surfaces that you prepare food on were chipped and cracked. Every door and drawer in the kitchenette, fronts were hanging off and thick with grease underneath. All the paintwork throughout the apartment was peeling and chipped away. There was black mould around the seal on the bath and toilet. A complaint was put through to our holiday provider TUI. Contact was made by them to the hotel. It was made clear that we couldn’t be moved as they were over booked. It was agreed that Maintenace would come that evening, by 9.30 PM. I spoke with reception and it was agreed they would come first thing the next day. By 11.00 AM they hadn’t shown up. On querying with reception they said they knew nothing about it. The TUI rep visited the apartment at 3.00PM just a maintenace finally turned up to do the sealant. At 6.30 PM maintenance turned up to stick the cupboard fronts. They used an industrial strength glue sprayed it on so when the glue had dried two of the cupboards were glued shut as was the lid of the kettle. What a disaster the whole apartment was but even worse was how the hotel responded. I would never stay in these apartments again as they are of such a poor standard I would classify them a 1* not a 3*.

Really friendly staff throughout the hotel. Everyone was so helpful and the waiting on staff during breakfast and dinner loved chatting with my two kids, especially two of the staff, who I think their names were Feli and Eduardo, were teaching them (and me!) Spanish!
The pool was ideal, my 3 year old loved the smaller kids pool as it was heated and 0.5m deep so she could splash about in it. Loads of inflatables and toys/balls were dotted about. The bigger pool was a bit cooler but it was great to cool off in in the heat. Pool bar was reasonably priced as well for both food and drink during the day.
We booked trips to Siam Park and Loro Parque through the hotel reception which was straightforward. Rooms were cleaned 6 days out of 7 during our stay and had enough in the room to make breakfast/lunch/dinner etc. It was mainly couples and families staying in the hotel which meant that it was quieter after 10pm at night which is great when you go away with young children.
It was about a 5/10 mins walk to the beach, with a shop over the road and shopping centres within a few 100m's from the hotel. Siam Park was only 10 euros in a taxi which I thought was ok rather than waiting for the free bus after a busy day in the park.
The only minor downside was the kids indoor play area, it was zip-tied and closed off which I assume is due to COVID.
Would highly recommend.

I first visited Parque del sol 30 years ago when my children were small and we were the first ever customers. It was wonderful then. I found their card in my holiday file from those years ago and decided it would be fun to return. We have not been disappointed. Our appartment is perfect with a kitchenette in a corner of the lounge, a separate bedroom and toilet and a very large balcony. The apartment is extremely clean and the towels are changed whenever we want them to be.
Unfortunately I damaged my foot on the first day at the airport and so have spent probably more time than usual within the complex. The staff have been brilliant, really friendly and helpful. The food at the pool bar for lunch is exceptionally good and great value for money. Infinity restaurant is also good with payment only for drinks which was a very pleasant surprise. We were able to book a wheelchair so that I could actually visit the beach.
The swimming pool is really special, very large and curves around the complex. Also there were enough beds whatever time of day we decided to go to the pool. I cannot recommend Parque del sol enough. Wonderful holiday despite my ankle. We will definately return.

First visit to this place and we were more than pleased with the hotel. In an ideal location, this is pleasant place with wonderful staff. Our accommodation was fairly poolside & although a little difficult to find on arrival, proved to be more than adequate for our b&b needs. The apartment crucially had separate rooms for my friend (who is a light sleeper) & myself, who snores like a drain!!! I kid you not. The option to sleep on the comfy sofa in the lounge area worked out just fine. The cleaners did a wonderful job & kept so cheery throughout our stay, despite having what appears to be such a mundane job. The place was spotless. The bathroom was well equipped with a decent shower & a few extras like body wash & toothbrushes laid on. The kitchen was tidy & all we needed. Didn't use the TV, as we never go away to watch what we do when not on holiday (why do people do this????) The pool was lovely & generally there were available sunbeds. The bar was excellent & so too the lifeguard. Breakfast was rather basic, but it's what you get in most Spanish hotels anyway. It was certainly one of the best orange juices, water & bread options I have ever had. Reception staff were absolute stars. Couldn't help you enough & we were rather sad to leave them. However, we will return. In summary, well worth staying at for location & for feeling at home. Rafael was the star of the show!

Just back from another enjoyable stay at this complex( our 5th visit). As before we requested our favourite block & as usual we were able to get it, along with another request so all good. Having the b&b option this time we were more than happy with the choices on offer ( even a pancake machine)! The staff work very hard especially the male waiter who seemed to be working constantly, but still time to have a smile & a chat. The rooms have everything needed, iron/ironing board, hairdryer & sufficient hangers. Probably instead of complimentary shoe shines & plastic hairnets a small washing up liquid would be better received, to save having to buy a large one & washing cloth. Our room was starting to look a little tired( no doubt through Covid), chipped tiles, scuffed door & around the shower tray could do with a bit of silicone, but since everything else was spot on I felt I couldn't deduct a star! The maids ( well our maid), done a great job of keeping our room clean. A big thanks to the American man that worked at reception, you always had time for a chat & always acknowledged when we walked by...you are a great asset to Parque De Sol! We would of loved to come back in November, but sadly our return flights are not a good time & as the same as this visit you were unable to let us know if we could keep room on until morning we were leaving, which was just too last minute for us to know, so we had to book another hotel. That said we are already booked for next June! See you then👍😎

This was our second visit to Parque Del Sol. Out last visit was pre-Covid. We stayed in G1-3 on the ground floor (although we did have to use a ramp to access our room).
Covid restrictions means that there are not as many beds around the pool and unless you put your tower out at 7am getting a bed can be difficult. The hotel staff do all they can to help you though.
The apartments have everything you need and the hotel is centrally located for everything.
I used the gym whilst we were here, it needs to be booked.
The laundry was fab if you have a family. €5 a big wash and you don’t need to buy detergent or fabric softener because it’s already in the machine. Jon Richardson it was us who found your credit card and £20 note in the machine. We gave it to reception.
We loved Parque Del Sol so much we are looking to visit again in January for some winter sun!!

It is necessary to wear suitable clothes for dinner. Between the months of November to March (both included) for gentlemen long pants and a shirt with sleeves are required. From April to October dress shorts are allowed.
