Before I go into the negatives I will say how stunning the hotel looks very beautiful and impressive however that's where it ends. I had two clarins products stolen from my large toiletry bag and when I spoke to Karen the tui rep she introduced me to the hotel customer relations who told me I could fill out a police report on line and then I would have to spend the day at the police station to sign the report as the police station is very busy. I didn't want to waste a day of my holiday over this so didn't bother I was not happy! Make sure you book a seaview /pool view room otherwise you will get a room facing the carpark or in our case facing busy noise pu licence walkway. The room we were given 1011 was level 1 I basement the room itself was lovely and spacious but there is no privacy its open plan with see-through glass shower and toilet and a large bath stuck in the middle of the room near bed. There was a strong smell of sewage /damp in the corridor outside . Staff some friendly some miserable When asking for room change be careful very inconsistent charges from reception. We spoke to many holiday makers who wanted to change there rooms and all were given different amounts. We originally did want to change our room but decided to stay put due to the fact we would probably not get a better room .. Make sure you book all inclusive as drinks are expensive and you even have to pay for your water with your meal. Entertainment not great talented violinist saxophone players but the bands that started at 10.00pm were not great. Made good friends we bonded and met when complaining to Karen the tui rep. Karen was inundated with complaints regarding rooms etc I would definitely not recommend this hotel overpriced and more like a good 3 star but a poor 4star

Responded yesterday
Dear guest, Thank you for your positive comment about our Hotel. We regret your dissatisfaction, however, we do not find appropriate your insinuations and/or accusations published on tripadvisor for something that has not been proven. As you were informed by Tui Rep and our team of Guest relations you have to follow the protocols established for this purpose. As you understand the Hotel is located in a tourist area in front of one of the most popular beaches and promenades in the area. There are entertainment and leisure activities within the hours allowed and established as a tourist area. In addition the noise does not affect all people equally and rooms are soundproofed. If the establishments do not comply with the opening hours established by local regulations, we will immediately call the police. When our guests report any type of incident in their room that cannot be fixed immediately, we offer them a change of room without any additional cost. I understand that our staff is doing everything possible to assist you. Yours Sincerely Placido Gonzalez Manager

Great stay at this beautiful hotel. Food, drinks and facilities all excellent and the staff looked after us very well. We did change rooms as our first room allocation was at the side where there are music bars which can be noisy. This was managed well without issue. I will definitely return

We stayed at the Guayarmina mid March 10 nights junior suite AI. Warm and friendly check in, made to feel welcome and greeted with a glass of cava. The room is clean comfortable and spacious. The walk in shower is brilliant, a safe in the room foc, Fridge is stocked with a selection of beer, wine and soft drinks, if you require it to be re stocked there is a charge, there is a coffee machine and kettle, tea, coffee and bottled water re stocked daily. The air conditioning was reasonable, not too noisy. Allocated room 2010 just above the busy promenade which made the balcony not very private, not a problem for us as we did not use it. Was prepared after reading some of the reviews concerning the level of noise from the bars at night and brought along ear plugs did not need them, you can hear the noise but not long after 11 pm the music stops, all you can hear is people walking by talking, we were not disturbed or woke up. The room was cleaned to a high standard daily. Liked the app system for booking meal times and choice of where to eat in the Hotel and especially for booking sun loungers, was easy to use. The sun loungers are close to each other, can be a problem if the people next to you put their umbrella up, they are not moveable and can put you in the shade as well. The pool area is kept clean and tidy, there are two pools one of them is heated. Just a stones throw from the beach if preferred. Two snack bars around the pool, one of them is for prestige guest use only and one on the roof terrace also for prestige guests, where we liked to go for a drink and watch the boats going by in the late afternoon. The Hotel is well laid out and looks very impressive, in a good location for bars, shops and walking along the promenade. We took breakfast and evening meals in the prestige restaurant, the service and staff are excellent as is the choice, standard and presentation of the meals. Evening entertainment was good some times very good. The bar staff were generally very quick and happy to serve always smiling. They, like all staff here work very hard. The bottle of cava put in the room on my wife's birthday was very appreciated. It was a great holiday at a great Hotel. We will with out hesitation return in the future. To all staff at the Guayarmina thank you.

Wow what a fantastic hotel. We came to celebrate my 50th birthday in March 2023 and loved every minute of our stay. Greeted at the platinum reception desk with a welcome drink. Checked in and cases were then delivered to our room. We had booked a junior platinum suite and were allocated room 4035 which had stunning sea views. This was high enough to have a great outlook. We were very impressed with our allocated room. The bars and promenade were in front of the sea front but when the patio door was closed at night the sound was fine. We loved all the food we had in this hotel, especially in the Platinum restaurant where the food was AMAZING. Service in here was first class and in particular the head waiter always helped us with translations on the way we wanted our food cooked when other waiters could t understand. The drinks were great and cocktails were so good. Proper strength alcohol and not watered down. The sun bed booking system is the best. No mad early morning rush to reserve. Book your bed on the app the morning before and that’s it. So easy. The hotel was kept spotless by the hard working cleaning staff. Location is great as it’s right on Fañabe beach and you have a nice walk out the back of the hotel gate to Del Duque to the right, or to the left through Adeje and into Las Americas. I can’t wait to come back to Tenerife and will definitely be booking this hotel again !!

We stayed here for my wife’s 40th Birthday having never been to Adeje. The hotel is absolutely stunning, spotlessly clean, in a fantastic location. We treated ourselves to an upgrade to Royal Suite which was incredible and had panoramic views which were best I think I’ve ever seen. The entertainment is really good and hotel has a nice chilled atmosphere without the drunken louts which for us we loved. Everyone friendly and very relaxed. We ate out a lot but what we did eat at hotel was beautiful. Staff friendly and hard working. Would 100% return to this hotel and would recommend the royal suite if you can afford it, it’s breath taking !!!!

Never been to Tenerife before, lucky with the weather and only went for a quick 8 days of R & R so on that bacis the hotel was fine. Check in OK Room - Allocated 2030, not great the floor is below the hotel so felt claustrophobic when walking to it, room was long and narrow, bath in stupid place and on an angle, it was in the way. It was clean and good toiletries. Not a great view of brown fence and street on the other side. A few nights very noisy so I did not sleep that well, beds very comfortable. Tried to change rooms, they let me look at one on level 3 better room but terrible view (side of hotel close to hotel next ), one on level 4 again terrible view (side of hotel) I booked direct and at the time no seaview rooms were available. Once we were settled it was OK did not spend much time in there anyway. Just a little annoyed as booked AI Platinum Jnr Suite so expected better location. Food - Average at best suppose it depends on what you are used to, food it a big part of a holiday and this was just OK. Buffet we only used once for dinner (first night others booked up . Food was average, like a canteen too noisy, used for lunch most days and sat outside which was nice, I like cheese and biscuits for lunch and this was fine, could do with better cracker selecion just cheap ones in packets. Husband always found something he liked. The Roast - used twice this is just a glorified buffet, main course served to you, food was again average one night horrible cheap chips with chicken looked like a bad school dinner. Platinum Restaurant - This was better, still same buffet starter but better mains, I stuck to fish or chicken which were nice enough, husband had lamb and pork which was not good, tough and tastless. Staff there were always friendly and cheerful. Breakfast OK for what we like, no fresh berries which was dissapinting , yoghurt was awful (cheap) tea and coffee poor (cheap). Drinks were all nice, wine a bit on the cheap tasting side, Cava nice and beer fine, some items not included with AI which we felt was a bit mean. Cocktails at the main bar in the evening were very good. Sunbeds way too close togther not good. App booking system was fine. Staff some OK some not so as per. Hotel really clean and we were comfortable there for a rest. Needless to say we will not be returning to this hotel :(

Arrived on 26th February at 8.30 pm. Was greeted on arrival, quickly checked in and our cases taken to our room. We were possibly very lucky as we were given a lovely high Room A148. We had booked a side sea view and the view was amazing so we were more than satisfied. Yes we did hear some of the bars at night but you have to accept that when you are in a popular resort, people are enjoying themselves. Our room was spacious, very clean, lovely walk in rain shower, nice big white towels, modern televison on the wall, kettle with ample tea/coffee and milks. As we upgraded to all inclusive we had lots in the mini bar to use, two nice seats with cushions on the balcony so no complaints regarding our room. The pool was beautiful and very clean, seating areas for drinks etc. The booking of sunbeds seemed to work but what it is like in mid Summer I would not like to say but the pool man would always find you a sunbed if you had not booked one. The only thing i would like to comment on is that there was not always an umbrella with some of the sunbeds. My husband has to have some shade due to a medical condition. Although this did not cause us a problem it may have done if it was really busy and we had no choice. The entertainment in the evening we thought was reasonable albeit a bit too loud to speak to anyone. Nevertheless there are lots of bars right by the hotel on the promenade. The food was good and a good choice. We like the fact that someone always greeted you at the market restaurant at breakfast and in the evening and was very organised which prevented a free for all and dirty tables etc. We found all the staff absolutely lovely especially in the restaurant and bars. Always smiling and despite being busy would always speak and have a laugh. Our only gripe is that we on the day we left we paid to keep our room on which I think was until 6.00 pm. As it happened we got picked up and 4 pm so did not stay that long. We went to the reception at breakfast that day and got our bands reactivated and we had our room for the day. We went into the room at 2.00 pm to shower, we then left our cases in the room and things in the safe whilst we went down for a drink. We came back at 3.00 pm to find we had been locked our of our room! We then had to go back to reception to get the bands reactivated again. The receptionist was quite rude and tried to blame us. This episode put a bit of a downer on the lovely week we we had just had because we felt like they were saying they had our money and now just go. This hotel all in all was superb and we would not hesitate to return. Thank you Guayarmina, we had a wonderful time.

We have stayed here before & loved it so much we had to come back. We were half board in a standard room which was lovely. The hotel is beautiful , the staff are friendly & work so hard. Breakfast & evening meal were delicious with plenty of choice for everyone. The app is brilliant & so easy to use and we love the sunbed booking system. The evening entertainment was very good too. We honestly can’t fault this hotel . We will be back again I’m sure. Thankyou for a amazing holiday

Some good and bad points. We flew with Tui who have been amazing. We booked a junior suite Platium Club. It was our wedding anniversary. The reception staff were okay - when we complained about the room noise the woman was very abrupt - even though we were being very calm and polite. It was clear people complain regularly. Don’t accept 1001 to 1012.. the noise doesn’t stop until midnight… see a video I’ve added. The room was really nice except for the balcony which sits alongside a very busy beach promenade. Others have said how bad this is - they are so right. The noise from all the bars, people laughing, singing badly, very very loud music and shouting is beyond belief. So sitting on the balcony in the evening is great if you love noise… if like us you wanted to chat and read your book with a gin and tonic… you couldn’t! This is the main reason we won’t go there again. We complained and the hotel moved us up a floor but along the same promenade. It was better but still not good enough to make us think of ever returning. The shower was great and the beds were really comfortable for us.. there were ants in our first room - all over the chest of drawers and along the skirting boards… they came with spray when we asked. The Platinum areas are very nice and it is worth paying the extra because you get cushions on the sun beds… a basic you would have thought. The Platinum restaurant is excellent with superb staff who were really friendly and professional.. we loved sitting on the terrace watching the sunsets… breakfast was very good as were all the meals, the infinity pool area is lovely. All the sunbeds have numbers… . That was really weird. First time I’ve ever seen that…. You have to hook them via the App. It meant that new arrivals would wander around the sunbeds looking at the numbers so they could decide which one to book…. all the sunbeds are squashed together….. Probably the other reason why we wouldn’t go back - no space between people. The entertainment was really good - the guitarist, saxophonist and violinist were all really talented and played a superb selection of music. The daytime activities were good too. The hotel was really clean. With a good selection of drinks. The hotel as I’ve said, is sited on a very busy section of beach. There are loads of bars on the doorstep.. We found a great little English coffe shop serving great scones - The Pantry. I’ve given it an average score because of two reasons - being unable to use the balcony and the lack of space between sunbeds. If it hadn’t been for these I probably would recommend it.

Comfortable, relaxing, good food and service. We have stayed in the hotel 4 times over the past 26 years, originally when it was a family hotel and more recently, twice as an adults only hotel. Only negative is the sunbeds are bit too close together.
